How can you trust a website that changes the rules in the middle of a giveaway?

Alternate Entry Method Changed mid giveaway.
I'm not able to entry online and complete form. Now, 3 x 5 card/paper must be mailed in.

Well, as of Friday June 14, 2024, it looks like One Country has changed it's Alternate Method of Entry in its giveaway to only a mail-in postcard option (see the rules for the details), eliminating the on-line Alternate Method of Entry completely. For a week or so, the on-line alternate entry form had required users (maybe just ones like me with old browsers?) to enter their contact information every day, rather than pre-loading it after the first time you entered that particular giveaway, but that wasn't a big deal with my computer's auto-fill. But now, the only alternate method is the old-fashioned "send in a 3 inch-by-5 inch card" method, which I'm sure will reduce the number of free entries in their giveaways by 99.9%, which I assume is exactly what they wanted. Bummer.

My apologies if this is all simply a matter of their site no longer supporting older versions of standard browsers.

They change the giveaway rules partway through. Was just a hyperlink for the AMOE, now is mail in. How’s this legal?

One Country is excellent in communication. After me and my husband got in a car accident it left us with broken bones and not being able to work. The Lake House would be a huge blessing to us and our children 🫶🏽

Beginning to think this is a scam since I signed up but now due to money issues I need to cancel & when I try to sign in it says “no account for the email I use” so looks like I will have to call the cc company to stop it..

I have a big dream to win a house because I don’t have one all my life , with my 3 kids growing up in rental houses all their life was ruff, am 51 now and I still have that dream to own a house, this is my chance and nice to have that dream, reading all this beautiful reviews encourages me to pay for live dream with country one. The online app isn’t easy to navigate I have something saying I won but no way to contact anyone the site took my money and then it acted as if I needed to repay they definitely need to be clear to winners and not take money until acct is litterly accessible to the payer

I cancelled this $10 fee I somehow was paying unknowingly 2 years ago and just saw they have been charging me AGAIN! I never signed up for this and even requested to cancel. This should be illegal. They won’t refund my money and say they’re going to cancel this time again however I do not trust them :( $10 a month adds up. This is not ok

I noticed a charge on my credit card for Jan, Feb and Mar In the amount of $15 each transaction. When I emailed them to inform them that I did not authorize this payment they said I joined their membership. I did no such thing
I immediately asked for a refund and they won't refund my money. Not sure how they got into my account but I asked 3 rimes and they will not refund my money. I will file a fraud claim against them. I was scammed.

I deposited money using my Visa card but I did not receive any response. I deposited 50 dollars but I did not receive any email nothing . half of my salary fucke*d if you convert into pkr

1. If I hafta endure one more visitor ‘review’ whining pitifully about how these legit, worthy giveaways “must be a scam” — or that there's “no way to enter!” free of charge, there will be a human in this part of the US spontaneously combusting (check your morning papers!).

SCROLL DOWN.
Look for the heading "LEGAL INFORMATION."
Then, look for this KEY FOURTH SECTION, which reads as follows:
"How to Enter:
Visit onecountry.com to utilize any of our methods of entry."
AFTER THAT SENTENCE, for all of you aspiring Einsteins out there, there's a phrase that has underlining. Right thereafter!
It reads--with no mystery or obfuscation AT ALL,
"Alternative method of entry."
AGAIN, it's underlined.
THAT MEANS IT'S A WEB LINK.

*CLICK* THAT HYPERLINK.
A form will appear so that you can enter via an "alternate method of entry." WHICH MEANS FREE.

C'mon. Y'all have been using the interwebs for decades. Some of you? Since back in '94 when it was commercialized. Cut the crap. Stop b*tching, and figger it out, or ask your neice or grandkids, rather than hopping on here with all yer dyspepsia, tarnishing the good name of a for-profit, FOR-GOOD outfit.

You don't like it? Go elsewhere. But don't post on here about how little you understand sweepstakes rules, or the fact that you "think" (believe) that it ain't on the up-n-up. Are you forensic accountants? You know zilch about zip. Shut yer yaps.

2. Their customer support rocks. ROCKS. I would name an employee who has responded to me on three separate occasions, IN LESS THAN THREE HOURS' TIME, but, I don't want anyone asking for them. YEESH! GET IT TOGETHER, people!
If you can't figure out how to cancel a recurring subscription, then, you shouldn't be voting, driving, procreating—or, for that matter, consuming oxygen. Work it out.

It's good to have a nice dream.
I first saw the ad for One Country on my computer screen. Subsequently, I caught an advertisement on a television stream. So, then I thought (wow) it would be nice to win a dream house. I just joined; that's it, now I wait. Nice to have a dream. Win or lose.

You said free to enter. But no where is a place to enter.

I think it's B.S. !!!!!
No one just gives away a house or that kind of money without a catch to it.

The convenience of entering is mind blowing (fingers crossed)
