The first contact with your service was horrible. The second contact was better, but still problematic. How ever, the service given by both notaries was excellent.
Excellent service on the second try, after the first attempt was rejected by the Florida-based notary who was assigned to me, so that i had redo the online process all over again, which cost me a lot of time and effort! On the first try, there were two problems: (1) when trying to establish my identity, i was given an option to take a photo of a U.S. “passport card”, but NOT of an actual passport (which is what i had!). (2) when asked to indicate the country where i was currently residing, it showed the “United States” with up and down arrows (that should have given the option to select another country other than the U.S. However, because those arrows did not work, i could not indicate the country where i am actually residing (which is Mexico). SO…your company needs to fix both of these problems!!!!

We'd also like to clarify that your first notarization attempt was unsuccessful because the driver's license used for identity verification had expired, which is why the notary was unable to proceed at that time.
To address your two points:
1. Photo ID options: U.S. citizens can upload a Driver's License, State ID, Passport, Passport Card, Permanent Resident Card, or Work Permit. Non-U.S. citizens are only able to upload their passport for identity verification.
2. Country/address selection: For identity verification (KBA), a U.S.-based address is required, since this is what allows the system to generate the necessary verification questions. Unfortunately, an address outside the U.S. (such as Mexico) can't be used for this step.
We're sorry for the frustration and lost time this caused on your first attempt, and we appreciate you taking the time to report it in such detail — this kind of feedback genuinely helps us improve.
Also, please note that you are not charged unless your session is successfully completed — so the first attempt would not have resulted in any charge.
