I've been reglazing my frames here for nearly five years. They have never let me down. Also they reply to emails quickly if they're is a delay.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. The worst customer service I've come across. I emailed and left voicemails on their answer phone numerous times to chase up the order. There was virtually no communication or update at any point, just one brief email to say they would look into it. I had to open a PayPal case nearly 3 weeks later and only then did they send a rude email telling me that my lenses would take 3 weeks due to being special. I had no idea this would be the case. It was just a normal reading prescription. They then told me I had wasted their time as PayPal refunded me and that my lenses were just about to be posted. I suggested I pay again if that was true but they never replied.
If anyone is considering ordering, make sure you pay through a method that gives you strong buyer protection because you may well need it. I would never use this company again. Incredibly rude and unreliable. This is not how you run a business. If they had just been bothered to reply to my emails, I'd have been happy to wait longer!

All as expected
The ordering process is clear. It helps if you understand your prescription and know what you need and want. The glasses I received were exactly what I wanted. Service was a bit slow, but I caused some of that by mistyping a detail - which the sales person queried clearly and properly.

Sports glasses for football
Ordered some sports glasses for my son for football, 5 days after ordering, got an email asking if I could send a copy of prescription so they could check?, everything was fine, after another week and half of not hearing anything, I emailed them for an update, they replied they had to reorder the lens as they had damaged them putting them in, received them yesterday eventually,all good, but it's took 5 weeks from 1st ordering them, maybe not the best if your in a rush.

I ordered a pair of glasses in September only to be told after a month that my order went into the Company's spam folder. I then cancelled the order and after another month have still not received a refund for the glasses I ordered. Do not use this company as on Companies House their accounts are overdue and this company will probably go bust. Be warned.

Buyer beware, takes an age and they do not communicate.
Buyer beware, purchased two weeks ago, website said 3-5 days, they eventually replied and said that it takes up to two weeks (small print I guess), I was told they would be sent out either last Friday or yesterday and that there would be an email, they failed to do so. They also have not updated their order which still shows it has not been processed despite them assuring me it has been. The phone number just goes to answer machine which they do not reply to, also they occasionally reply to emails but you have to just keep sending them to get a chance at a reply.
If you do not mind waiting weeks to months (see some reviews here) with little to no communication or updates, then this is the place to come.
I wouldn’t have minded the speed if there had been updates and I really really do not like to be lied to (promised dispatch by yesterday). Just go elsewhere, even if it costs just a little bit more, you won’t regret it,

DON’T USE - skipped court mediation - court next
UPDATE: The court scheduled mandatory mediation as part of my claim. Online Opticians UK did not attend the mediation session. The matter has now been listed for a court hearing in June 2026. I made multiple reasonable offers to settle out of court, all of which were rejected without any counter‑proposal.
REVIEW: I sent my glasses to Online Opticians UK for reglazing. The company acknowledged an error with the lenses and agreed in writing to correct it. I returned my frames as instructed.
I was told the corrected glasses had been dispatched by Royal Mail 24‑hour tracked delivery and should have arrived by 16 October 2025. I did not receive them. No tracking number for the corrective dispatch was provided despite repeated requests.
Royal Mail has confirmed in writing that there is no further information on the tracking for this shipment and that, because it was sent on a business account, only the sender can make enquiries or claims. The tracking shows mid‑network movement only and no delivery or attempted‑delivery events.
The company promised a refund in writing, but it was not provided. After multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly — including calls, emails, and a formal pre‑action letter — I was unable to reach a resolution and issued a county court claim.
My frames were not returned, a promised refund was not paid, and my efforts to resolve this were met with no substantive engagement on the evidence or the claim.
I would recommend keeping clear records of all communications, tracking, and transactions if you use this service.

Good value and good service. They will go the extra mile to ensure that the glasses are good. A nice company to deal with.

Well what can I say
Well what can I say ! This company is awful, ordered glasses ( just for reading so nothing special) waited 6 weeks, still no glasses. Emailed and called loads of times, finally got a reply and said they would be ready in 3 days….. still didn’t turn up. Another week trying to get them to reply via email. Cancelled order and the said money would be refunded on the Friday, 3 weeks later nothing , not replying to my emails.
Had to get Natwest to step in and get my money back !
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY 😡
