Perfect for external / self-studying AAT students

Osborne Training has been my exam centre of choice since I started self-studying my first AAT qualification. I have never had any issues with Osborne Training and find their exam service reasonably priced, conveniently located, professional and problem-free.

I have sat several AAT exams, some with Osborne Training and some at other centres, and Osborne Training is my absolute preference. The facilities are clean, staff know what they're doing (unlike most other centres I've used) and are friendly and helpful.

If you're self-studying AAT, this is a very good exam centre and I thoroughly recommend it. Very easy to obtain invoices for exams sat if expensing your study/exam costs. I will absolutely consider using Osborne Training for ACCA training if I get to that stage.

5 Stars, easily.

Awful experience sitting an exam at…

Awful experience sitting an exam at Osborne Training. Faulty computers for half the room meaning that the exam started late, half the candidates had to deal with noise whilst staff tried to sort the other half's IT issues, and the screen kept freezing mid-examination which made an already stressful situation even more stressful. Door left open multiple times during exam with noisy classroom next door. Staff made no apology. All in all a shockingly poor experience. I have tried to get a refund but they are refusing. Avoid at all costs!

The environment and seating arrangements are very perfect for the exam. Not very crowded as it is in some centers.

1-Star is too much for them

1-Star is too much for them. I booked and paid for the exam but they forgot to put me on AAT exam schedule. On the top of that the software wasn’t updated so they cancelled my exam after 3-hour waiting at the venue. Ridiculous. Poor customer service and you cannot talk to a manager.

BEWARE

So, i have been asked to remove my previous review from Osborne training with threats of legal action because they fullfulled there obligation (after much arguing).

So here is my opinion and experiences with the company (updated).

During my year with them, there have been many issues here are a few.

Refused to honour bursary that was granted until argued otherwise (they did finally pay it all).

Software errors/ lack of instructions on how to use the software. (they forgot steps on how to use Sage 50)

Lies, when things went wrong, they just lied/ didnt check facts and i have emails to prove it.

Links for practice assessment that dont work (i literally had to email them for them to notice some of the assessments didnt work)

And finally, today, threats of legal action for defamation if i do not remove a review based on my opinion and experiences with the company.

Defamation is the act of communicating to a third party false statements about a person, place, or thing that results in damage to its reputation.

As none of the statements ive stated above are false (and again, I have the emails to prove them all) this review will be staying as it important that a big company cannot bully people into leaving good reviews.

Update based on there response.

Im only going to say 4 things as i luckily no longer need to deal with these people.

1. Notice how it took them 2 months to reply.
2. You say i requested to recieve the bursary money but forgot to add the reason why. Because you tried to refuse to pay it. First you stated that i could only do the exam in your exam center in London (a good 200 miles away), Then you stated it would take a few weeks to book it until Adam from AAT got involved. You still then book the exam wrong.....3 times. Yes 3 times out of 5....you booked wrong and i had to fix.
3. It was the practice exam links that where broken, not videos, not sure where you getting that but maybe another person thats had problems with you.
4. Lastly sage 50, there wasnt a video, it was a written guide that you gave, a guide that skipped 2 steps and took you nearly 2 weeks to explain.

I would like to start with a sincere apology for the miscommunication you have had with our team who was dealing with your case.

In regards to the Bursary, please note that the bursary is provided by AAT to students so that they can study and it is provided as a credit note to the institution you want to study with. With this credit note we are not able to provide you with any money which you had asked for. Hence, we offered to book all your exams at your choice venue and paid for all of them.

In terms for Sage 50 software, kindly check the attachment in the email which was sent to you, it would have an installation guide attached along with the serial key for the software which can be used.

Sometime due to fluctuating internet connection the video links might appear to be broken, but it just requires a better internet connection for the training videos to work.

Course review

Honestly this is the best course I have joined.it has been a wonderful experience studying AAT at Osborn training so far and everyone there was so nice and welcoming especially Mr Hana Rassel . He helped me adjust to this course and gave me wonderful advice.As well as Mr Marlin my teacher he supported me from the beginning.

Like something out of a bad sketch...

I don't know if this just happened to be an "off" day, but having just sat my first AAT level 2 exam at Osborne Training's Watford site, I can confirm that it was the single worst experience I have ever had sitting any type of exam.

Summer, whom invigilated the exam was nice enough, but showed up five minutes before our exam booked for 09:00 (which I had to pay a £40 premium over their standard rate for, as it was a Saturday) meaning that we started the exam late - no biggy - I had two other students to keep me company and speculate on whether our prep and travel was going to be a waste... Unfortunately, the email sent to me previously from OT, advising that if I am sitting an exam out-of-hours or on a Saturday, I should call their admin team to let me into the building, however, this was somewhat impossible, as I was greeted with a lovely voice message telling me that their phone lines open at 10:00, but that if it was an urgent query, I should email the admin team. I emailed the admin team, but I am still waiting to hear back...

The first exam-related snag I actually had was with the login portal to sit the exam. Effectively, you are asked to use your AAT login, however, this doesn't work. It is actually your "Atlas Cloud" password (sent previously in a slightly dubious email, but this is not the fault of Osborne Training) and your username is your AAT membership number, which we figured out after an additional 10 mins of struggle. Following the login, the invigilator realised that she needed to authorise the exam which took another 5 mins or so.

Turns out at this point that I was the first person to have sat a 2022 syllabus exam, and was being used as a bit of a guinea-pig on the new system.

Anyway, I finally managed to start the exam with copious levels of anxiety following all the disruption of the morning, and 5 minutes in, the lady sitting behind me's computer crashed out part way through her exam, resulting in a full-blown discussion during the first half hour of my exam, not to mention that the poor lady was asked to change computer 5 separate times - luckily I didn't need to concentrate or anything, otherwise this might have been distracting.

Finally after all of these computer woes for all three candidates sitting their exam today, I completed & submitted, only to be told that the invigilator doesn't know how the new system works and that she can't give my results.

Let me just state explicitly, that the invigilator, Summer, was doing her best to support us, but my word, what an absolute joke of an introduction to AAT. As if sitting exams isn't nerve-wracking enough, ICT issues, late starts & quite literally a full-volume conversation for a third of the exam made this an utterly miserable experience.

Needless to say, I'll drive 500 miles for the next exam (if by some miracle I pass this one) to avoid sitting it with Osborne Training. Awful experience and beyond sub-standard exam conditions.

I'd advise any newbies to avoid at all costs until they figure out their own systems.

Firstly, I would like to start with a sincere apology for the mishap which took during the day of your assessment.

Ahmet, as you would know that AAT has changed the syllabus from AQ2016 to AQ2022 recently, the adaptation to all training providers were given within a short time frame.

As you mentioned that you were the first student to take the AQ2022 exam, our team was also adapting to the new system which was provided by AAT and as mentioned by you that Summer tried everything in her power to help you. We are sorry you felt like a guinea pig for the new assessment of AQ2022 but sincerely AAT had changed the entire platform of Secureaccess to Atlas cloud which has been a difficult change and challenging for both Candidates and Exam Centres. I would also like to mention it to you that the final update of the new Atlas cloud was only provided to all training providers on May 5th 2023.

In terms of the results, All CBA exams for AQ2022 would be taking 2 weeks’ time for the result until any further notice from AAT.

We can understand that these issues can be nerve wrecking for any student especially on the day of their exam.

Our team at Osborne Training takes all reviews very seriously to provide the best learning outcome for all the students.

Osbourne Training

I registered with Osbourne Training after checking out a number of providers, after registering I had a call from Sohail who was very helpful. He answered every question on the call and if I had more questions, he also was happy to help. Upon registering he continued to support and a shout out to Hana who delivered great customer service too. I would definitely use Osbourne again, and I would definitely recommend. Also the course content, especially the books are highly detailed and well written too.

Brilliant course and customer service!

I honestly cannot fault Osborne Training. Although I am doing my Level 4 AAT, this is my first year studying independently and so I ask a lot of questions from the team and they always reply so quickly and are always willing to do what they can to help. I think their books are brilliant, having used them for all 3 levels and I find both the course materials and the lessons better than the Kaplan course for level 4.

I feel like Osborne Training understand that life happens and it can get in the way sometimes so they help come up with solutions regarding managing the course.

I go to my exams at the Watford Centre and the staff are always brilliant there too, friendly and professional.

Thank you for making my level 4 AAT journey as stress free as possible with your helpfulness!

Scammers, thieves and liars! Do not enrol.

Deliberately mis-sold me the package. I realised it only when already attended their intro lesson. Managers, directors been avoiding me and hung up on me multiple times.

Service is horrible. They take your money (1000 pounds), lie to your face and get a way with it.

Fake reviews on their site filled with lies. I dont know how this company still exists? It is disgusting.

Save your money, nerves and time, avoid like a plague.
Raising CCJ against them, the things they deserve. Not the only person that was scammed, I am aware of this.
