I requested a not-so-simple to understand question, and they called me back by phone to ask for details and gave me a solution just in this call (followed by the written down solution in the ticket itself).
Less than 2 hours from issuing the ticket, very efficient.

Transferencia de dominio

Intento hacer una transferencia de dominio se abre un ticket. Me dan una respuesta que el gestor de dominios español dominios.es me dice que no es posible, que tienen que cancelar el dominio actual y comenzarlo de nuevo. No recibo respuesta alguna después de contestar al ticket. Me temo que tendré que esperarme a los 10 días para que se cancele automáticamente la petición de transferencia e intentar comenzar otra vez. En esto, ya veremos si tendré que pedir otro código de autenticación del proveedor antiguo. Mientras en su web ponen que es facilísimo. Yo encuentro demasiados problemas para algo tan sencillo como reiniciar un proceso.
Como continuación a su respuesta les solicité que me reiniciasen la transferencia. Ayer por la mañana me indicaron que en el día de ayer estaba realizada la transferencia. Hoy me dicen que cancele la transferencia, pero la he reiniciado según instrucciones de dominios.es. Ahora el código de autentificacion no es válido. Lo he vuelto a pedir al anterior proveedor que cierra. Si revisan sus comunicaciones verán que recibo informaciones contradictorias. He vuelto a escribir al proveedor actual para que me de otro código y a dominios.es con el propósito de desbloquear el asunto. Revisen sus comunicaciones por favor.

After analyzing the CS11405900 support ticket, I note that the domain name is currently blocked at the previous registrar.

The transfer was canceled on 06/08/2025 by the registry in charge of the ".es" extension and therefore we cannot cancel it on our side, I am sorry.

Please note that this process was extended due to the non-compliant email associated with the account with your current provider at the time you requested the transfer.

Here is a guide to help you set up a domain name transfer from one registrar to another: https://help.ovhcloud.com/csm/en-ie-domain-names-transfer-generic-domain?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039746

Moreover, when setting up this type of transfer, it is only the current registrar who can speed up the domain name transfer, and not the registrar who receives it (OVHcloud).

Llevo trabajando de una manera u otra con OVH desde hace más de 20 años, combinándolo con nuestra infraestructura propia en un datacenter local.

Siempre ha sido una empresa innovadora, que ha revolucionado el mercado con propuestas que ni soñábamos y que nos permiten ofrecer soluciones de valor a nuestros clientes.

No solemos utilizar el soporte, pues nos autogestionamos el 100% de los servicios pero recientemente hemos tenido una experiencia muy positiva en el ticket CS11315828, en el que no sólo han solucionado un problema del que no eran responsables, sino que además la solución propuesta ha superado las espectativas.

Gravísimo error técnico y pésima gestión posterior

Contraté un servidor dedicado con OVH (gama RISE) y durante una intervención de mantenimiento por parte de su propio personal (sustitución de placa base), cometieron un error básico: asignaron mal la dirección MAC del nuevo hardware, alterando el último byte.

Resultado: mi servidor quedó inoperativo durante más de 96 horas en pleno fin de semana de evento profesional. Esto provocó miles de euros en pérdidas directas al no poder vender nuestro contenido digital online en tiempo real, además de forzarme a contratar un técnico externo para detectar y resolver el fallo que OVH se negó a corregir, a pesar de que el error fue suyo y quedó acreditado en su propio registro de intervenciones.

Su compensación: un mes gratuito de servicio (que ni cubre el coste técnico asumido, ni mucho menos las pérdidas económicas generadas).

Además, se escudan en que sus SLA limitan cualquier compensación adicional, incluso cuando el error proviene de una mala praxis operativa de su equipo técnico, no de un fallo fortuito o responsabilidad del cliente.

Lo peor, su actitud: cero responsabilidad real, gestiones lentas y sin capacidad de asumir consecuencias de sus propios errores. Una compañía que presume de infraestructura profesional no puede cometer errores de este nivel en intervenciones físicas y luego no dar la cara.

OVHcloud ha perdido toda mi confianza como proveedor profesional de infraestructura dedicada.

Si tu negocio depende de una disponibilidad real y una gestión técnica competente, piénsalo dos veces antes de contratar con ellos.

Lo peor y estafadores. No devuelven dinero

Más de 30 proveedores usados y la peor basura y estafadores. Ojo que no devuelven el dinero pese a indicarles a los 30 minutos que el servicio no funcionaba ni daba la calidad prevista. No entiendo como alguien puede confiar en una empresa asi. Alejense de ellos. Ademas la web No se entiende, y engañan. HUyan de esta gente. No solo perderan el tiempo sino tambien el dinero

Servicio post venta y soporte pésimo… evitad a toda costa

Servicio post venta y soporte pésimo traslado el dominio un día antes de que renueven y quieren que pague el año completo de ese dominio que no está en sus servidores, luego pido reclamación y me contestan "que como ya está la factura hecha que la pague" si caduca el día 4 y yo me llevo el servicio a otro lado el día 3, por que me tienes que cobrar?

Le digo que me faciliten los datos para una reclamación formal y me cierran el chat. Decepcionante

Avoid - Cheap, but it's a false economy, and very hard to cancel

Poorly designed and limited tooling, cheap (note that the €200 introductory offer applies only for 1 month, ending with no warning) but not worthwhile. Slow provisioning, limited cloud services available, and almost impossible to actually cancel (due to a combination of impenetrable UI - even worse than AWS - and extremely slow support processes). Avoid.

Le temps est important

Il est impressionnant que le problème commence le 21 juin et soit résolu le 3 juillet.

Qu'un crédit doit être fait, alors qu'en réalité, au premier jour, il aurait dû être résolu et non facturé.

Je pense toujours que les processus du service client sont très déficients.

Même si quelque chose s'est amélioré. Surtout quand les mêmes voix de l'Administration ne m'ont pas répondu depuis 2002. Plus gentilles, plus communicatives (et même si la personne qui m'a assisté ne parlait pas espagnol.

Hola, miexperiencia ha sido muy buena siempre, una vez más han solucionado mi incidencia, aunque era un problema mio.
Recomiendo utilizar OVH y sus servicio técnico.
