Oxfam want to cancel me.
Oxfam keep demanding my reviews are removed.
What a terrible organisation you have become. Keep cancelling me and I will keep reposting a 1 star review of your rotten to the core 'charity'.
If you think I will ever donate to you again, volunteer in a shop again or even set foot in one of your shops again you are severely mistaken.

Oxfam Inclusive Language Guide.
Oxfam really don't like anyone criticising their "Inclusive Language Guide" and if anyone posts that, after reading this publication, they believe this publication is a complete waste of the charity's publicly donated money, Oxfam demand their post is removed.
No doubt Oxfam will ask Trustpilot to delete this review.

Too expensive and gone down the political route
I went to Oxfam in Bury. It was very expensive so much so that I didnt buy anything. Things were dearer than buying things new. And I'd like to add ... Oxfam has been one of the organisations I've donated to for years and in the past I have worked as a volunteer. However because of the recent behaviour and what it's turned into I will NEVER use them again. Other charities will get my donations. Firstly the Inclusive Language guide is nothing more than an Marxist document, compelling speech to it's staff. Pregnant people? Do you mean woman, Oxfam? How disgusting. You're OK to exclude half of the population, and are happy to go along with the erasure of women. Appalling. It's obvious that ideologues have taken over Oxfam and are pushing their views. This was clearly visible in the inclusive guide but the video that you have recently released is sick. And I have noticed that Oxfam have just taken it down and released a different version, trying to hide and deny what they had recently posted. Oxfam have removed the part where the grotesque term 'TERF' has been used. What way to shut down peoples' views and degrade women who dare to speak about their rights. And Oxfam tried to deny that the caricature of a TERF wasn't based on JK Rowling. This turns my stomach. And where has the money come from to pay for this video and this guide. I would assume from people like me who donate. Oxfam has long lost it's initial aim to tackle poverty and has turned into an ideological cult.
Should be a no stars option

Terrorist collectors
This is concerning the terrorists Oxfam employ to get people to sign up to monthly donations. There are two men in Burton on Trent today who are just rude. Shouting at people in the street who obviously aren't interested. The shouts out at passers by were just intimidating, sexist and immature. I would never stop and speak to someone who thought it appropriate to speak to potential donors like this and given that Oxfam aid workers have been exposed for using donations to pay for parties and prostitutes I'd never donate to the charity anyway.

I submit this review with a bit of regret, as it is a charity. But, the service is shocking. Having paid a lot of money for a book I could of bought elsewhere, and not receiving anything for nearly two weeks. Now been told to wait till 'the 69 June' (didn't know June had 69 days), then inform them if it has not arrived. Oxfam, just looking at your reviews- you need to get your house in order. You cannot rely on being a charity, as an excuse for obvious bad service.

Oxfam shop
I bought a book at Oxfam shop in Ann St, Belfast today.
The female who served me only did so once she had finished the page of the book she was reading. She said £2, no smile, no 'please'. When I suggested she should say '£2 please' she just could not understand why she should say please. This shocking lack of customer service allied to the fact that the organisation has been taken over by the 'woke' brigade means I will no longer be supporting this charity. I have made donations of clothes and books and general household items to the Oxfam shop in Newtownards for years but I will no longer be doing this and will give my donations to a deserving charity.

Very rude to me for being a Muslim I was nothing but kind and polite to them as was in a good mood as had left Friday khutbah and prayers and I'm fasting today I go in and grab a bag some coffees and other stuff I asked oh do you give blue light card discount as I'm a veteran etc and they say no I'm not happy as they all smirking and rude by this point then I pay for stuff anyway and they decided to over charge me by about 8 quid thinking I would go on my merry way and not notice being a "thick" geordie from Newcastle they probably thought I couldn't add up or read or something.
It really is despicable and deplorable and dishonest especially as many going into here are disabled or old people and these lot are taking advantage and overcharging people
Then 4 them stood there women bullying the man because he's a Muslim and thinking its funny with big smirks on their faces and fake apologies truly deplorable behaviour

Appalling staff at Oxfam
Appalling. Went into Oxfam Storrington to get some Fairh in Nature product with elderly fragile mother, carer and carrying small dog. Raining outside, no one else in shop. Person at till at back of shop barked " no dogs allowed". I remarked oh sorry, but I'll be quick. "No dogs allowed" was the shouted reply. I said that wasn't very charitable and we started to leave. Having a very slow elderly mother who requires lots of gentle manoeuvering, it took time to turn her around to leave the shop which has a large step so is not access friendly. That gave Oxfam staff time to come over and repeat their mantra and that the carer could go outside with the dog while I stayed inside with Mum. Given Mum requires 2 people to help her and they weren't volunteering I don't know how that was going to work so I repeated mine that they were not charitable. Empty shop, rain, no one really around and they compared themselves to Waitrose because they have some overpriced chocolate bars. What harm is a dog in arms going to do? Why is a stupid policy hidden among umpteen notices on the door overriding normal human decency? With staff like that no wonder Oxfam has lost its way. Fortunately Waitrose now stocks Faith in Nature so no need ever again to have anything to do with that organisation. Their loss. Plenty of other good friendly charity shops too.

Shocking (?)--but will missuse your data...
Be VERY CAREFUL about giving your contact details to Oxfam...
I recently requested a few charity bags to donate clothes when moving home, and not only did the bags arrived shockingly late (3 weeks! So no longer needed *facepalm*), but Oxfam decided it would be a good idea to start sending me spam, thereafter.
When I asked them to have my details removed, they said that they would only anonymize them. And when they were reminded about GDPR's unambiguous opt-in legislation, their bogus response after conducting (mind you!) an "investigation" was that I had in fact opted in.... Errrr, I don't think so! After all, the only part to the investigation they undertook was to visit the same webpage as I did when I entered my details and confirm that, in fact, the opt-in box remains unticked until it is ticked by the user; which means, someone tampered with my decision to not opt-in after I had submitted the form.
The arrogance with which this charity conducts business and treats your contact details seems to indicate that paying "spam investigators" and other pen pushers, remains after all a top priority, more so than your right to privacy under UK legislation.
Oxfam, being a charity does not exclude you from common courtesy, unless of course, marketing emails are more important to you than being a decent organization that treats your donors with the respect they deserve.
I said.

Sold my Data on to Scammers
I set up a monthly donation, however since then I have started getting spam texts from scammers, Oxfam have sold my data on to a third party and a scammer now has my number. I am very protective of my mobile number and give it out to absolutely no one, however since signing on with Oxfam to give monthly donation's and providing my number, a scammer has managed to get my number which was sold on from Oxfam. Direct debit stopped as they already make money from these unhanded and deplorable tactics.

I am Louth based in Lincolnshire
I am Louth based in Lincolnshire, & I am going to STAND up for oxfam as a charity shop, I have been volunteering there for some time, once you get a bad review, no one doesn't want to go in to that stop again or any oxfam shops. If you was to come to the Lincolnshire shops we are more polite, please give us a 2nd chance as a charity. The pricing depends on the make of the items that is why it could be expensive, just ask a volunteer, & by law all tickets should be kept on the item if returning but sometimes we ( the volunteers) can use our discretion & give you refund. Hope this helps you all

The worst customer service at Oxfam charity shop in Morley Leeds
The worst customer service at the Morley Oxfam shop. I asked the manager for a refund of £9.99 after presenting my receipt. The manager refused to refund me saying she remembered me buying the garment but the price tag must be attached to the garment. After 10 minutes she decided to issue the refund, saying "shall I, shall I not, tell me why I should refund you?" I placed my bank card on the counter because of her messing me about so long for a refund. The manager said "you can pick that up, I'm not touching it" meaning my bank card, while shaking her body. I asked why "is this because of Covid." She replied" I don't know where it's been and I'm not doing your work for you." I've asked myself why wouldn't she touch my bank card, was it because I have a different skin colour? She served a customer and held her card putting it in the card slot while I stood there still waiting for the refund. The manager said to the customer" some people can't follow the rules, and pointed to the sign which read( no refunds without price tag and receipt.) I didn't understood the issue as I presented both the receipt and tag. She accused me of cutting off the loop in the jacket, and I pointed out that the loop was not cut, and I pushed my finger through it to show it wasn't damaged. I turned my back to block out what appeared to be insulting. After twenty minutes of torture, she finally issued the refund. I was not shouting or abusive, I stood my ground. I left the shop while she shouted "you are barred don't come here again". Two customers were appalled by her behaviour left their items in the shop saying they were not buying from her again and walked out. The same two customers stopped me outside saying that the manager was a disgrace and asked me if I was okay. The manager couldn't leave it at that, she followed me outside just to insult me again. She asked," have you left your walking stick?" I am partially sighted and the sun caused me unable to see who she was talking to. The manager continued for two minutes mimicking what I was saying(torture again). I told her I didn't use a walking stick and had had enough and went back inside the shop to get head office details. I asked staff inside the shop for the manager details, I meant head office details(my erro The manager walked in and shouted 'how dare you to ask we don't give any personal details out. I told her I wanted the manager's address, and she replied "I am the manager so I corrected this by asking for someone above her. All staff stood surrounding me including the Oxfam manager as if they were bouncers, I felt threatened and ganged upon. She (the manager)passed me the contact detail of head office (some numbers missing of course)then shouted"you are barred don't come here again". I contacted head office, and the lady in customer services was brilliant and listened to me. She passed on the details to the relevant department who emailed me stating, "it was a breakdown of the relationship and that it might be best If I stayed away from Morley Oxfam, there were some discrepancies between your story and the Manager". What about the witness who sent in an email? It must have felt serious for a customer to have reported this by email to head office. What a disgrace that a person at head office had defended the manager who appears to show racist traits or dislike towards me for other reasons, this does not sit well with me. All I'm guilty of is respectfully returning an item. We are who we are and everyone are the same. The manager thought she could bully me and then tell a pack of lies to save her own skin and the person who made that decision at head office, shame on you for defending her. Two sides to a story and it appears you have listened to just one side and it's not mine( the truth). I retract that one star, and in this day and age, no one should have to put up with what appears like mental abuse, especially from the shop manager who we are feeding (OXFAM SHAME ON YOU). This is just the beginning I feel so strongly about this, I won't stop until this is dealt with fairly. I was told by the head office that witnesses reported the incident saying it appeared very personal and appeared to be an element of prejudice. The head office's email read 'It seems the relationship has broken down between you both "this is a great shame but a reality". IS THIS FAIR?

Oxfam brazenly price products above r.r.p
Just as an example you can currently find a used folio society book 'Something wicked this way comes' on their website for including p&p 60 pounds. A 25% mark up on the brand new book and p&p from the folio society website. This is borderline extortionate. How they have the brass balls to partake of this kind of activity is quite frankly staggering.
