Disappointed
Bought our mini back in April and wanted to collect on 1st May. We were persuaded to collect on the 30th April with the promise of a full 12 months tax. When I checked the tax runs out at the end of March 27. Complained and was told they no longer do this even though the DVLA allow them to get 1 year and 1 week tax on a new car. No compensation and no call back to discuss further hence my now 1 star review. If you buy a new car don’t get talked into collecting earlier than you want to. Very disappointing.

We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet the standards you expected, particularly regarding the vehicle taxation discussed prior to collection. We completely understand why this was disappointing, especially as your decision to collect the vehicle earlier than originally planned was influenced by the information provided at the time.
Having reviewed the matter internally, we identified that an error was made regarding the taxation period applied to the vehicle. Whilst this was not intentional, we fully appreciate that this does not change the frustration and disappointment caused.
We regret that we have not been able to reach a resolution that you feel is satisfactory. We did make contact after the issue was raised and have since attempted to continue the conversation, as we genuinely wanted the opportunity to discuss your concerns further and explore whether there was a way forward.
Customer experience is extremely important to us, and we are sorry that on this occasion we fell short of your expectations. If you would be willing to speak with us again, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss the matter personally and see if there is anything further we can do.

Fantastic service from Rowan.
We had fantastic service today from Rowan. What he didn’t know about the different mini’s is not worth knowing. He was so friendly, extremely patient and personable with our millions of questions. He took the time to explain in great detail all the differences between the different packs etc. He is a real asset to Partridges.

My Mini Story!
Had a great experience buying my Mini Cooper 5 door with much help and enthusiasm from Jack. My daughter and I called in as I’d seen a Mini online that caught my eye. Well, I was pipped to the post! Had a chat with Jack and he used that car as a benchmark, and found me an even better one online from Mini UK. He had it transported down for me to see and try. Easy choice it had to be mine!
Jack went through it all with me and arranged everything that I decided to go with. He was so patient and knowledgeable explaining everything clearly in detail. He kept me in the loop at all times as things progressed. It couldn’t have been easier for me. He even said that if I had any queries that I could give him a call and pop back to see him if necessary.
When Jack handed me the keys on Friday he also presented me with a beautiful arrangement of flowers as I’d mentioned that it was my birthday! Thank you so much Jack you’re a real star⭐️

Went to Patridges (having had a negative experience at Snows Portsmouth the day before) and this showroom was a completely different kettle of fish. Welcomed into the showroom by a very pleasant receptionist at the outset and then shown straight over to Ben our salesman. He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly knew his stuff! From discussing what model met my needs, to explaining everything in the car before our test drive, to sorting out all the paperwork once I had decided to go ahead with the purchase, Ben gave us his full attention and ensured we were satisfied with all aspects of my purchase. He has the patience of a saint given the amount of questions I fired at him!!
Thank you for making this an exciting experience. Uber excited to be picking up my new E-Mini in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait…

Jack was very helpful and patient. Answered all our questions and talked us through the handover in great detail. Nothing was too much trouble. He kept us up to date while we were waiting and always returned our calls.

Great service from Ricky
Went to browse the dealership on the weekend, wasn't particularly keen to buy but was served by a very nice guy called Ricky. His service was incredible, he was super friendly with both me, my girlfriend and our dog! And from no real intention to buy, we now have an appointment booked in with Ricky for next week!
