I purchased a backpack from Paul Richard. Their communications with me were great. When I had questions, they responded quickly and fully provided answers to me.

The backpack is beautifully crafted and truly a high-quality piece.
I highly recommend Paul and all his products.

I'm very happy with the bag that I ordered. The quality is great, and it is just what I was looking for.

As with other reviewers I think the website is very likely a complete fabrication. There probably is no Paul Richard. In my case the bag did arrive after a month (missed Christmas) and it is an OK bag. You have to wonder why the deception? If the website was honest and said quality bags direct from Asia I would go for it.

Delivery was exactly when they said. I had a question about the delivery, and thier customer service got right back to me with the solution. I have contacted customer support a few times, and everytime, they responded in a timely manner.

Great product, fast delivery -very Satisfied!

Entire website/positioning of the company is fraudulent. It's a supply house in China - confirmed by the address for returns. "Additional" discount was not applied to my order which should have stopped me there. I tried to cancel the order multiple times. They did cancel 1 of the 2 items I ordered because they were out of stock anyway. As others said, the other item was 'waiting for pickup' for days by the carrier. I have 10+ email correspondences with the company and all are inconsistent.
Do not buy from them....unless the item truly feels unique and you are willing to wait. If something goes wrong, you'll end up screwed. The only way for me to get a full refund was to pay the return shipping fees back to China which were $100+. They did provide a small refund for the item so I'm keeping it and I'll give the bag away. I want no recollection of this process/experience.
This was intended to be an XMas gift for my son. We ended up picking out several better items from Amazon, he picked his favorite, and we returned the ones he didn't choose at no cost to us.
It was all supposed to be about a good looking bag and a great company story. We fell for it.

I’m very happy with the quality of my bag considering the cost. Like others I doubt it was truly hand made by a Paul Richards. I also doubt the ad stating a Paul Richards is closing his shop and selling his entire stock. If that were true there wouldn’t be interest in me leaving feedback, interest enough to offer 50% off a future order (future order, I thought this was the final sale, hurry before I close my shop forever 🥹) However, if you’re looking for a decent bag at a decent price, I think you found it here. My bag arrived almost three weeks to the day after ordering.

Great quality, the backpack looks amazing. We took it out for what ended up being a rainy/snowy hike and the oiled canvas did its job and kept everything dry.
The people at Paul Richard were very pleasant to work with.

Not received yet. Total scam. Website led you to believe it was made locally, however, comes from China, if it ever comes.

We received our leather back pack on 1/13/25 and it is just beautiful. It was packaged well and we were very pleased. Thank you so much for such meticulous work.

Ordered on 12/24/2024. It is now 1/14/2025 and my item still shows waiting to ship. My bank flagged this as a fraud site but I let order go through anyway. Customer Service has been contacted 3 times but I have not received any help. No shipping or tracking information is available.
Overall a bad experience.

My bag never arrived. You show it delivered to a mail room in Queens! I live in Brooklyn.

I spent some time think about getting a Paul Richard bag and decided to go ahead and I was not disappointed. I ordered the old school backpack very similar to the WW2 bergans and this is fantastic quality and the workmanship is outstanding. definitely recommended.

Still to receive the bag. Understand it is coming from a large factory in China so not very excited about receiving it. Misrepresented themselves as a small artisan bag maker 🤔🤷‍♂️

I just received my overnight bag from Paul Richard. I love it!! The craftsmanship is top notch and I like the classic design. I’m already thinking about buying something else. Give these a look. You won’t be sorry.

The bag wasn’t as big as I thought it would be. Tried to return and they said they couldn’t process returns in the U.S. they offered me a new bag but I just wanted my money back which they have refused to provide. I think this company is a Chinese manufacture that pretendes to be a hand made U.S. company
