Paul is an amazing tutor. I struggled with maths since I can remember but Paul took the time to go through every detail. He helped me gain confidence with maths in such a short space of time. I’d recommend him to anyone!

Paul tutors both our children. He is engaging and explains different concepts thoroughly. The children look forward the lessons and are enjoying mathematics even more than usual and have excelled in recent exams at school. We thank him for his friendly organised manner and the quick easy methods he teaches which they have both noted help in exams leaving them with time to check through their answers. Amazing ✨

I had to retake my GCSE maths and initially I was a bit hesitant however after completing the 5 day intensive course I can say that it has completely changed my mindset towards maths in general. There were some unique methods that he taught me but after lots of exam practice it becomes like second nature and in the end, I could not have felt more confident for my final exam. Would highly recommend

Paul is an excellent tutor and highly knowledgeable in Maths. My son really struggled with Y9 maths however after some tuition with Paul, he has helped my son with understanding different processes on how to solve, his confidence has grown hugely and his maths teacher(s) commented on how well my son has become with understanding maths problems. Paul is very friendly and patient too and builds a great rapport with his student(s). We will be reaching out to Paul again in the future so I would 100% recommend him. Thank you Paul!

Paul was my maths tutor for a number of years. He's an excellent teacher, focussing on true understanding and reasoning. I learnt all of A level maths from him in 2 weeks.

Paul achieved what our education system abjectly failed to do. He created a system that allowed my son to understand mathematics and to pass his GCSE. He is an extremely skilled teacher and I would highly recommemd him to other parents.

Paul tutored my home-schooled son (in person and online) from the basics through to a 7 at GCSE level, in just over 2 years, as his sole maths teacher. He was patient and understanding and provided a variety of ways to learn, but most importantly made the learning understandable, achievable and fun. My son is now studying for Maths A-level and hopes go to University next year to do Maths with another subject. Paul’s way of learning set the excellent foundations that has made this possible.

Paul was a very approachable guy with a passion for Maths. He really made me enjoy going to the sessions and I came away feeling very confident with his methods. Methods so easy, you will never forget them.

My son Ben was predicted a grade 3 in his GCSE's on his final parents eve in January 2019. He just needed maths explaining in simple terms and I knew he was capable of a better grade. He was a typical teenager & would rather be playing on his PS4 than revising, so I knew I had to take action to get him the grade he deserved. I knew if I booked a tutor he would focus. He studied with Paul for a couple of hours a week for a couple of months before he was due to sit his Maths GCSE. He really enioved the sessions and learnt a He ended up with a high grade 5, he was over the moon and due to that grade was able to enrol at Leeds Beckett university for his
chosen course. Paul's fees were
reasonably priced too.

Paul is truly world class! I’ve always struggled with the way math is taught. I felt like I was just memorizing formulas and equations without truly understanding them. But after just a few sessions with Paul, I finally felt like I had a grasp on the concepts.

One of the things I appreciate most about Paul's teaching style is his ability to break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand terms. He always starts by asking what I already know and builds on that foundation, rather than assuming I have a certain level of understanding. He also uses a lot of examples and visual aids to help me understand the material better.

Another thing that sets Paul apart as a tutor is his patience. He never rushes through a concept or gets frustrated when I don't understand something right away. He takes the time to explain things multiple times if needed and always encourages me to ask questions.

I was tutored by Paul several years ago to help me with my GCSE maths. His tuition enabled me to achieve a pass mark much higher than was originally predicted. I found Paul's tuition to be very thorough and well explained and a great help.

Paul is a wonderful teacher, he helped me go through the A Level Maths syllabus as a mature student. I was a bit nervous about returning to maths but he has a unique approach that made learning with him stress-free and fun.

He doesn't believe in rote learning rules, he teaches a concept and then gets you to apply it so that you understand WHY you are doing what you are doing.

There's never any pressure to remember anything and often the concept he teaches is an unconventional, but better, way to learn than the standard A Level textbooks suggest.

Paul has been tutoring my son for some time now, from GCSE to his current A Level course. His methods are refreshingly different and my son is thriving and enjoying this subject very much now and achieving much more than he ever thought possible. My daughter missed a GCSE years worth of maths lessons during Covid. She was struggling with conventional ways of teaching. Having met Paul, he explained he had a unique alternate way of teaching; we agreed for him to give her an assessment to

a) see what level she was at.
b) see if his methods suited her.

Not only did her standards in maths rise dramatically, her self confidence did too. Each week she looked forward to her lesson with him. She gained a C grade due to his excellent tuition, after she was predicted an E. Having found a love of maths she has decided to study engineering for an A level.

Furthermore her sister has started receiving tuition from Paul and has now gone up at set in school.
