Whenever I've had a question or shared feedback with Payhip, the response time has been solid. I haven't experienced issues with the storefronts I build, so I can't speak to troubleshooting, but my tech and design background likely helps. Overall, I love the platform and highly recommend it to clients selling ebooks from their own websites. The 5% fee is far better than the 30–65% cut from major online retailers. I've compared Shopify and WooCommerce for author needs, and Payhip is still the easiest, most feature-friendly option. There's always room for improvement, but Payhip gives you exceptional bang for your buck

Payhip is very convenient for selling my ebooks. They only take %5 from every sale I make, and I appreciate that I can switch to one of their montly plans when it makes sense for my revenue. The developers are very generous with the feature development

I honestly never heard of this company before, but was looking for some other place to post my items for sale. I had questions about listing fees and such, as all site like this are different. I received an answer very quickly, and was also pleased that there was no listing fee! It's a nice change of pace to have the freedom of listing multiple items without running up a bill.

I’ve really enjoyed using Payhip! It’s super simple to upload products, customize my store, and track sales. Everything is in one dashboard, which saves me a lot of time. It’s definitely one of the smoothest platforms I’ve used for selling digital content.

it is not bad at all! The only issue they have is that there is no subscribe to newsletter option incorporated. you have to rely on some third party integration. I tried mailchimp but they just broke my site, it was impossible to complete a purchase. Please find a solution! I am about to switch to shopify. Though I would love to stay! but newsletter option and email automations are extremely important.

I was led to believe that PayHip was the gold-standard for creating membership areas, so I spent significant time uploading all my products (over 100) to include in my members area for members to download… it turns out this isn’t possible. In fact it turns out that the membership product is limited to posts only???!?!? Not sure who would want a membership area with posts only but I suppose someone must do. So my advice is don’t waste your time if you want to create a decent members area.

I gave it a two stars (rather than 1) because the customer service is good - an actual human responds fairly quickly to any queries and for support. I also like the fact that you can add variations for digital products in a shop listing unlike Etsy. If you just want a shop front and to drive your own traffic it’s decent but if you want to sell monthly, yearly or lifetime membership just don’t bother.

Payhip is such a great platform for creators selling digital products.

Erst war ich von Payhip überzeugt, da es günstiger als andere Anbieter ist und die Oberfläche schön aussieht, leicht zu bedienen ist.
Doch sobald man in Deutschland damit etwas anfangen möchte, gehen die Probleme los. Es ist nicht möglich, es für Deutschland gesetzeskonform anzupassen. Anfragen dazu blieben vom Kundenservice unbeantwortet.

Mollie funktioniert nicht - die Zahlungen gehen bei Mollie ein, aber Payhips System registriert das nicht, trotz korrekter Einrichtung. Kundenservice antwortet wieder nicht!

Mein laufendes Abo wurde ohne Meldung beendet, so dass ich viel mehr Provision zahlen musste ohne es zu wissen. Kundenservice antwortet auch nicht!

Schade, es hätte so viel Potential, aber jetzt bereue ich es, zu Payhip gewechselt zu haben und hätte mich im Nachhinein lieber für einen zwar teureren Anbieter entscheiden sollen, der dafür aber zuverlässig im Kundenservice ist.

Let's start with what triggered this review today. I had a question over the weekend and posted it on Saturday afternoon and woke up Monday morning with the solution. Amazing response time, even better during the week, I've got to say.
About the platform, I love it; honestly, the pricing model is super fair for new creators. After a few days of working with it, you find your way to make it work for you even if some functions, especially for ambitious course creators, are currently not yet implemented. But that's what a growing corporation is all about. Growing together!

New to payhip. Had a few sales. Easy to set up nice clean interface and great communication.

Payhip.com is a great webshop tool with many well-thought features.

I was looking for such a tool since quite a while and have now found with payhip.com exactly what I needed.

The setup is very easy to do, I had only 1 hour setup time incl. domain linkage and stripe.com registration. I can only recommend this platform.

This is a small startup company and I support it 100%! They are the most economical online store I've seen (and I've had several!). The support staff is the best and I get to sell my items for a small percentages--not a huge monthly fee. I don't sell that many items but what I do sell is important to the small group who relay on my stuff for the recovery community. They don't have all the services of every big online storefront, but they don't have the huge costs either! I love these guys.

Es la primera vez que dejo una reseña de algo; sentí la necesidad de dejarla porque sinceramente la web es tan buena que dije "Simplemente se la merecen". Payhip no solo te deja hacer tu pagina rapido, sino que es muy practica, por ejemplo: Tiene una opcion la cual solo con hacer click en la seccion o texto te lleva directamente a donde se cambia el color de toodo, background, text, y mil cosas mas; no tenes que complicarte con nada, mejor que cualquier pagina famosa que todos conocemos...en otras te perdés, si no sabes como arreglar cierta cosa, acá lo arreglas hasta clickeando sin querer.

Piensan en el cliente y son flexibles en todos los sentidos, tenes opcion de tener gratis la pagina por un 5% de comision por venta, NO TE PIDEN TARJETAS CUANDO EMPEZAS

Estaria bueno que haya una opcion o que simplemente venga integrada una opcion que ajuste a celular la pagina y no tenemos que estar aplicando codigo.

I've been using Payhip as an alternative to the usual suspects (Teachable, Coursera, Thinkific, Kajabi) and I'm very happy with it. The free version is very powerful and not limiting me in any way so I have time to figure out how to grow my business without breaking the bank. (I'm paying $5/month to house videos.)

What really blew me away about Payhip was the service. I was having an issue with my UI and shopping cart functionality and Catherine got back to me super fast, within hours but that wasn't even the best part. She diagnosed my problem and explained it to me in simple terms, then offered 3 different solutions with links to helpful knowledgebase articles.

I got exactly what I needed (and more!) so that I could fix my problem.

And she did all of this with a delightful tone.

It was a great experience, which is a rarity these days.

Payhip support is very helpful when I'm in a bind. They include reference links to walk you through what you need to do, and if you still don't understand, they're ready to help.
