We just started with Payhip but so far we are very impressed. Support is responsive and helpful and, as a startup, we love the business model.

What I find too often with customer support as I get the bare minimum, such as AI responses, or a solution to a different problem because they didn't read my email properly. I've only asked Payhip for tech support once. At the end of her email, Ashanti asked me if she understood my problem correctly. Not only did she comprehend it perfectly, she answered the question I asked plus a number of related questions that I would likely have asked in a number of follow up emails. But she nailed them all upfront. It was a complete answer from somebody who obviously took the care to make sure that my ENTIRE problem was solved. I had no follow up to her email because her solution was complete. I wish Facebook advertising would look at Payhip as its spiritual guide for customer service.

I deeply appreciate the quick and knowledgeable response. Payhip is a great product and easy to work with.

Pour le moment un outil bien pratique, le modèle a l'air de très bien fonctionner, faire son site avec est très simple et efficace, c'est responsive, ça fonctionne et c'est joli... They support sellers who are scammers. I have evidences if you want to check. A seller agreed for refunds according to his refund policy but didn't issue refunds and stopped replying to me and revoked my access to the licensed based indicator. Contacted Payhip, Stripe, seller but no help received

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide more details regarding my review of Payhip – Sell Digital Products.

My issue is not only with the seller, but with Payhip’s complete lack of safeguards and responsibility for buyers on its platform.

I purchased a digital product (BOTT Price Action Indicator) for USD 499 through a Payhip link promoted by the seller “BO Turbo Trader.” At the time of purchase, the seller’s refund policy clearly stated that cancellations made within 7 days were eligible for a 100% refund. I requested a refund within this period, and the seller accepted my request in writing. However, the seller never processed the refund, revoked my access to the product and support group, and then stopped responding entirely.

I contacted Payhip multiple times, provided evidence, and asked for assistance. The only response I received was that Payhip “does not have access to initiate refunds” because funds are transferred to the seller immediately. I find this response extremely concerning for the following reasons:

1. Payhip allows sellers to operate on its platform and provides them with infrastructure to sell products. This makes Payhip a facilitator and intermediary, similar to platforms like Amazon or Etsy. Such platforms have systems in place to protect buyers in dispute scenarios. Payhip refused to intervene in any meaningful way.

2. Even if Payhip cannot physically reverse a transaction, they absolutely can:

* Take action against sellers who violate their own policies
* Freeze or suspend accounts
* Warn buyers
* Cooperate with banks and payment processors
* Demand accountability from sellers operating on their platform

In my case, Payhip did none of this.

3. The seller clearly acted in bad faith: accepted the refund request and then delayed and disappeared. At a minimum, Payhip should have contacted the seller formally, demanded compliance with their stated policy, and taken action when the seller refused. Instead, they told me to “contact the seller” – even after I confirmed the seller had stopped replying completely.

4. Allowing such behavior encourages scammers to use Payhip as a safe platform for fraud, knowing that the platform will not hold them accountable. This is dangerous for buyers and damages trust in Payhip’s ecosystem.

To summarize:
My review reflects that Payhip’s hands-off policy creates a safe environment for fraudulent sellers. If a seller accepts a refund and then ignores the customer, the platform should not simply wash its hands of the issue.

I am willing to provide full evidence of:

* The original refund policy
* Seller’s written acceptance of my refund
* Revoked license access
* My conversation with Payhip support
* Bank and Stripe communication

I received a tremendous amount of help with migration and setup from Imelda Dharmawi. She helped me dig out of a bad situation with another provider that decided to increase pricing by 400%. Imelda helped me fix a lot of problems and was quick to respond to my questions even thought see really isn't involved in support. She also saved me a lot of time by getting my products migrating from the old provider.

This website always works with digital downloads (unlike Etsy) and if you need help, they are always ready to answer questions and reply quite quickly.
Highly recommend.

Super easy to use. I tried a few others, and PayHip was best in class for ease through and through. So glad I found it.

I enjoy their responsive and thorough customer service. They've been able to answer all my questions and the platform is easy to use and not overwhelming.

Some customers purchased my e-book and couldn’t download it. The download link was broken, even though the files I uploaded were perfectly fine. I contacted Payhip and had to send the file manually just like I would from my own website, without any of the “services” they claim to offer. No automation. No buyer name protection. These were the two main reasons I chose Payhip in the first place and both failed. They charged me, but delivered nothing. And the worst part? No apology, no explanation, no refund. Nothing but silence. I reported the issue on June 26th. It’s now been over two months and I’ve received zero support. This is not just unprofessional, this is fraud. Avoid this platform at all costs.

I recently joined Payhip, and find their site very easy and straight forward to use. I also think their services are great. I had a question, and received a reply very quickly.

Exceptional online sales platform. Payhip seriously deserve 6 stars and stand out from the usual suspects of web site platforms with bolt on ecommerce solutions. Especially for digital products where requirements like tax and licences can make life hard.

I'm a seasoned and very fussy web developer and when asked to provide a sales site for friends I was extremely fortunate to discover PayHip in my initial exploration of the solutions landscape.

Subsequent use in setting up for fairly complex and frequently changing requirements has been a delight. Almost everything was easy to setup with very little technical experience required. But when I wanted to push the boundaries and geek out, it proved possible.

- very useable templates
- well structured concepts and tooling that easily match all the common requirements for digital products
- excellent web customisation options from simple theme tweaks to code
- full set of digital sales and marketing features for a presence in the global online market place, including help with the nasty tax complications
- top tier support

this company, banned my account and charged me on top of that, they wont let me access my data either, i would not recommend to use them, pengdrop.com is a much better alternative the tech is better the ui and mobile app, when i had payhip the mobile app was always full of bugs and i was getting thousands of unnecessary notifications .. they wont reply to my emails.. hello payhip CANCEL MY PAYMENT AND LET ME DOWNLOAD MY DATA!!!!

Ive been using payhip for years! I cant recommend them enough. Outstanding customer service. Everytime I have a technical problem they go above and beyond to assist me. Definitely a loyal customer.

I’ve send my question/problem late evening. Early morning the day after I had the reply I needed to solve my issue.

We set up our Ebook for sale with Payhip & Stripe. Upon trying to withdraw the earnings, we were told there were two accounts, then some sort of breach/hack. We changed the info as they instructed and sales continued to accumulate. We were then only able to take out the new sales; however, only the old sales were not available for withdrawal. We were told we would have to contact the account holder. Well, if the account was breached or hacked, how do we know who the culprit is? This is an issue on their side not ours. The original $1K+ in sales was no longer available, and in fact, Payhip took it upon themselves to refund of the customers who purchased the ebook. So much for us upselling. We can't go to the buyers and say there was a mix-up please pay us again even though you have our ebook. As of this date, we have no money or explanation. They feel they can just keep $1K. If they do this to 1 out of every 5-10 people, imagine how much they are making. We want to be reimbursed for our sales since obviously, we can't get the money back from the customers. Sales started in April and this dragged on with the back and forth until June 8, 2025, when they refunded a minimum of 33 people for an ebook for $55. Some sold for less due to promotions, but there is still almost $1,500 that we never received. We are considering consulting with an attorney. Can anyone make recommendations? We are in Connecticut.

I'm so happy I chose to use Payhip for my online business. Very easy to use and very advanced with a great marketing tools and the best is customer service, always on spot with very well explained replies. Million thanks
