A very well structured and intentional Data analyst programme. The experience so far has been positive and the support is very well tailored.

Sharing an honest account for anyone considering Professional Careers Training & Recruitment / Aston Business Intelligence's Business Analyst programme.

To be fair, they are BCS accredited and registered with Companies House, and initial responses were prompt.
However, the pricing and promises didn't hold up. On an initial call, a team member told me there was a 50% discount offer running. On a later Zoom call, a different representative quoted me the full price of £2000 with only a 30% discount, bringing it to £1400. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the representative checked internally and then "upheld" the 50% discount — framing it as a favour he was doing me, as if he were going above and beyond. In reality, he was simply honouring what I'd already been told. Nothing generous happened there; he was just correcting his own quote.

This pattern repeated when I asked for interview and placement commitments in writing. On calls, I was told they would help me land interviews through their recruitment network. When I asked for that in writing, the email I received was vague, focused entirely on "training and guidance," with no concrete mention of interviews or placements. When I pushed further, I was told support "continues after the course" — still no measurable commitment.
I also found out separately that another person paid £900, and someone else was quoted £1400 as the full undiscounted price just three months earlier. This isn't a discount structure; it's a moving price designed to make whatever number you push back on feel like a win.

A past student I contacted via LinkedIn confirmed they received one session on how to apply for jobs, but no actual interview support months after completing the programme.
To their credit, when I requested a refund of my deposit, it was processed without resistance. That's worth acknowledging.

The company has since replied claiming I never enrolled or used their services, and that they make no promises around job placement. To clarify — I was in active, detailed conversation with their team, including a recorded phone call and a Zoom call, where pricing, BCS certification, and interview/placement support were explicitly discussed. I never claimed to have completed the programme; my review reflects my experience as a prospective student during their sales process, which is part of the customer journey Trustpilot is meant to cover. Their reply also doesn't address the pricing discrepancy or the absence of written commitments — which remain the core of my review.

My advice: get every commitment in writing before paying anything, specifically what "recruitment support" means in measurable terms. Vague verbal promises that disappear in writing are the clearest signal you can get.

I am currently doing my data analyst training. The instructors explain each concept to me clearly. I am really enjoying the training because it's flexible. I can do my training along with my full-time job.

Training: Business Analyst

The approach towards learning in terms of theory and practical training was pretty much straightforward and industry-oriented. I was much intrigued by the practical training, which gave me a real sense of the nature of work and how the perspective changes as you apply these skills in different industries.

This training is specifically covered in healthcare, where the skill of a BA is in high demand. This program also details in what areas the healthcare system will likely crumble when they lack technical expertise, along with necessary technology.

Overall, the program was beneficial in advancing my career towards BA, and hopefully, I'll be able to bring my competency in the corporate world soon.
