Pharmacy Asda Opiniões 

Needed a lactose free PPI for which I had a prescription but would not order one in for me because the brand name of the medication was not on the prescription. This is a first - never had medication brand name on any prescription. It was just an excuse as they couldn't be bothered to order it in. Staff are sullen and unhelpful - avoid Bury St Edmunds, Asda pharmacy like the plague!

I visited Asda Pharmacy this evening at approximately 7:35 pm. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. The member of staff behind the pharmacy counter was one of the rudest people I have encountered in my 67 years. Her attitude towards customers was completely unacceptable and left me feeling shocked and upset.

Customer service is an important part of any pharmacy, and I believe the standards displayed this evening fell far below what customers should expect. Asda should be ashamed that this level of service is being provided in one of its stores.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

Terrible customer service. I have never been spoken to so awfully. Very, very rude woman working there. I have filed a complaint.

I visited your pharmacy on 22 June to buy emergency contraception. During the consultation, the pharmacist told me the pill “would not work” because of my weight, and made comments that felt like body shaming.

This is factually incorrect — official NHS guidance confirms it remains effective, and such comments are unprofessional and disrespectful. Everyone deserves accurate, non-judgmental care.

I would ask you to look into this and ensure staff receive proper training, so no other customer feels this way.

Went to Asda pharmacy for a Perscription to be filled. 16th June 2026,couldn't complete it all,I was told the missing tablets would be in the next day.
I waited for a text reply, no joy, tried Thursday ringing 4 different times of the day, nobody picks the bloody phone up.
Went today Friday 19th, got the tablets, apparently they were ready yesterday, Thursday at 1pm,and a text was sent, I received NO TEXT, the lady was moody 😑 and didn't know why " I don't deal with texts " was her reply, next customer?..!!!

Poor customer service across the board!!!

I have had two experiences from Asda pharmacy Broadstairs , both were appalling … one woman who works at r the pharmacy is rude tells you when you do a private prescription and are told to collect it they do not have it in stack and the pharmacy has nothing to do with asda , I found the service at this branch appalling … when I spoke directly to the Asda doctor to complain he was nothing short of delightful , he telephoned the Canterbury branch and I collected it within the hour and the staff at Canterbury were lovely 5 stars Canterbury branch 5 stars Asda doctor 0 stars asda Broadstairs you need retraining at the very least how to speak to customers

Asda beckton received my sons prescription on Thursday 4th June, my husband went to collect it today the 9th of June and it wasn’t done because one item was out of stock, no text no phone call what a joke , they had five days to sort it , crap service ,

Asda Pharmacy South Shields, Due to ADHD and ASD I have episodes that affect my memory, organisation, communication, and ability to manage medication reliably. Because of these conditions, emergency supplies are sometimes necessary and I rely on staff being patient, understanding, and supportive.
Despite this, I have consistently been met with a negative and unhelpful attitude from the pharmacists at this branch. I live only a five minute walk from your store, yet due to the way I have been spoken to and treated, I felt unable to return. Over a week ago, I had to take two taxis to Asda Boldon instead, simply to avoid the dismissive and unsupportive behaviour I have experienced at by the pharmacists at Asda South Shields. This caused unnecessary stress, anxiety, cost, and difficulty at a time when I was already struggling.

Asda staff who have been promoted to the pharmacy, but with the usual Asda don’t care a damm attitude. Plus they gave the cheek to warn customers via notices to show their staff respect.

Terribly difficult when the staff are speaking to customers like sheet Asda Huyton btw as if they care

Extremely poor experience with ASDA Pharmacy from start to finish. I placed my prescription order expecting a straightforward process, but it quickly turned into a frustrating mess. The estimated delivery time came and went with no updates, and the tracking information stayed unchanged for days. I had to contact customer support multiple times just to find out what was happening, and each response was different from the last. No one seemed to know where my prescription actually was.

What makes this worse is that these are medications people rely on, not ordinary online shopping items. Delays and lack of communication can seriously impact customers who need treatment on time. Instead of taking responsibility, support kept giving generic apologies without offering any real resolution or urgency.The website also makes the process more confusing than it needs to be. Prescription status updates are unclear, and there’s very little transparency about delays. Overall, the service felt unreliable, poorly managed, and stressful. After this experience, I definitely would not trust them again with important medication orders.

Very disorganised! Took my prescription in thinking they would be fast, but no was told it would take half an hour. So returned over and hour later. The pharmacist didn't even know where to look... It was in the turn up and collect tray which he eventually found.
I think I'll stick with the proper pharmacies next time as I've never waited more than 5mins to collect a prescription!
Must do better, Will never use a supermarket pharmacy again. Awful service.

I visited Asda in pentwyn Cardiff to find it closed after a while the staff came.i gave my script in and was told it's going to be an hour so I went to do some other things after an hour I went back to find the pharmacy closed and was told by a member of the staff that they were closed for another hour if I was told this earlier I would have gone to another chemist.

I was directed over to Asda Farnborough pharmacy after having a very traumatic extraction at the nearby dental practice. I was in agony and feeling horribly unwell. The two women in the back were doing stuff. I know for sure one knew I was standing there but they both ignored me for over 5 minutes so I left. Very poor customer service and horribly disrespectful.

Hyde, Tameside branch...Would have given ZERO rating if possible!.. 100% incompetent!!.. staff will NEVER answer phone, ignore long queues, prescriptions never ready when they should be, then having the sheer cheek to blame customers for not waiting "a few days", as they are too busy to process all prescriptions !! Continually blaming gp surgeries for not sending through repeats, EVEN THOUGH NHS APP CLEARLY SHOWS THIS TO BE UNTRUE !... I had items missing when opening the package, was told it was MY fault, for not telling them there should be how many items on the prescription were wanted !!!
Switch to a different pharmacy !!

I must say these bad reviews for Asda I believe they must have been at a different pharmacy. I cannot recommend them enough. Alice is so kind helpful and willing to help in every way. I have even changed my pharmacy to Asda because they are so helpful. All I can say try them, I am sure you will find them amazing as I do.

Rosella who works in the pharmacy, the pharmacist was so lovely & helpful to me.
I was told by the nurse at my Dr's I needed to get my blood pressure taken twice a day , I did not have a machine to start with so went in & met the lovely Rosella, she took my blood pressure & recorded for me.
She advised me it would be a good idea to have a heart monitor on for 24hrs to read my pressure etc.
She did this for me, free of charge, printed out the results and also sent a copy to my Dr's, she said I can come back to have my pressure taken anytime.
She really put me at ease as I was very anxious as not had this before, I took this lovely kind lady a box of chocolates to say thank you.

Although the staff seem to be busy, you often wait for 30-50 minutes to pick up a prescription. There's always a queue 🙄

Asda Pharmacy Park Royal - This pharmacy staff are immensely rude and inconsiderate. I went in the morning to pick my repeat prescription with a confirmation saying that my medication is ready. The lady at counter refused to serve me as the Pharmacist Manisha had not arrived to work. She told me to wait. I waited 40 minutes after which the Pharmacist Manisha arrived. The lady at the counter then checked and told me sorry we don't have your prescription. 40 minutes of standing for no reason. I stated I have a confirmation. But it was overlooked. I believe I was lied to. My medication was there they just chose not to give it to me. Management should really re-consider staff they employ. They should arrive to work 10 minutes before their shift starts also if someone is at the counter they should be confident enough to serve you and inform you instead of making you wait for 40 minutes that your prescription isn't there. I have just rung Asda Doctor online who have informed me it was dispensed there yesterday. So that's just confirmed, they just didn't want to give me my medication!

Asda Wembley in London is joke.
Dropped my prescription on Sunday (waited probably over 30 min,3 people in front of me ) and they said it is going be ready on Tuesday and that they will call me.Of corse nobody did so I went there on Friday (waited over 40 min ) the said my medication is not there and they will call me about update on Saturday .
Nobody did .
I went there on Saturday evening waited about 45 min ,again only 2 people in front of me ) then when was my turn they couldn’t find my medication .
Waited another 30 min as they were talking and looking . Finely I got my medication whitch I paid £400 and it wasn’t cold and I don’t believe it it was in fridge .amazing.i waisted so much time this week plus I don’t even know if my injections are still ok as they are warm

I can see that a number of people have shared negative experiences here, so I thought it was important to add a positive one to give some balance.

I wanted to say a sincere thank you to Usman at the Asda Brierley Hill pharmacy. On more than one occasion he has gone out of his way to help us locate medicines for my child when they were difficult to obtain locally. Rather than just saying they were unavailable, he took the time to check wider availability and help find a solution.

He was knowledgeable, calm, and clearly cared about making sure we weren’t left stuck without what we needed. That kind of effort makes a real difference to families.

A real credit to the pharmacy and exactly the sort of service people hope for but don’t always receive. Much appreciated.
