I am very disappointed with this helmet. It is only two years old, and I have always used it carefully. During a warm ski day in March (around 15°C / 59°F), the helmet suddenly became sticky and part of the surface melted, even though it was only exposed to normal sunlight while skiing.
According to the manufacturer, this is “normal wear” caused by contact with ski goggles or “direct heat,” but there was absolutely no contact with sunscreen, chemicals, heaters, or any other heat source. A helmet at this price point should be able to withstand these normal conditions.
It is very frustrating that a relatively new helmet can become unusable after just one warm day. I expected much higher quality from a brand known for reliability.

RESPONSE ON POC:
I have already emailed your team, and your reply stated that the helmet could not have melted and that the discoloration was caused by using ski goggles (which is surprising, as you’d expect the helmet to withstand this). You offered a 35% discount, but given that the helmet is only two years old and the plastic has melted and become sticky from the sun, I’m not willing to spend a significant amount of money on another one.

Purchased 2 of these moving from another reputable brand and disappointed more in the customer service than the issues with the helmets. Anyone can flog a helmet but supporting a customer seems to be a bridge too far. I’ve just repurchased with my previous manufacturer tail between thy legs. POC you need to fill the service boots or find something else to do eh

Liars

Purchased something from their Amazon online retailer, their co listed as "Canada Direct" but return mailing label for POC Ltd in Toronto.

Returned a product that we never installed as it didn't fit, but now they're claiming it's leaking. Looked online, and they've screwed over other customers, so how do I know they're not lying about it leaking and showing me the actual photo of the item I returned? Mine was brand new, but they're claiming it's used (but how when it hadn'ty even been installed???). Claiming it's my fault somehow and don't want to refund me over $1700 worth of parts for this stupid kit. So losing 1700+ as well as freight to ship it back.

Ich hatte einen schweren Fahrradunfall. Kiefer gebrochen, 6 Rippen verletzt. Der Helm von POC hat mir vermutlich das Leben gerettet, da ich ansonsten schwerste Kopfverletzungen gehabt hätte.
Ich werde mir wieder einen Helm von POC kaufen. Diesmal ggf mit Kieferschutz :)

Great products! I have a pair of Aspire sunglasses that I wear road and city biking and they're amazing. Great clarity, pretty light, and stylish. And the shipping was timely.

I bought a new road-bike helmet yesterday from the POC website. The site was very informative and purchasing from the site was easy. It was a high-end product and I was able to easily access all specs and also reviews. POC is widely adopted by pro cyclists, and I recommend the brand and their products wholeheartedly!

Love the new Cularis helmet. Light, excellent air flow, fits well. Got one because of the excellent safety rating from VA Tech, but all the features are pretty dialed.

I ordered the incorrect helmet size & paid. I instantly noticed an emailed customer service. I asked could they change the size? They told me No & I had to re-order, which meant paying for two orders. I took their advice only to discover UK customers have to pay for returns & include tracking. My return bill was over £30. It was my first order. I found the size guide on the other items I ordered not at all useful. I was looking to spend over £400 but ended up having to return the items because the sizes were all wrong, and I was left out of pocket.

terrible customer service, Max (if that is his real name) was of no help. Spent a lot of time trying to solve a problem, didn't get any real solutions so we had to go but somewhere else.

Aller letzter Kundenservice, sowas hab ich nur selten erlebt. Rückversand: komplizierter kann man es dem Kunden nicht machen. Rückerstattung nach 3 Wochen immernoch nicht erhalten, eine Mail mit einem Artikel als Gutschrift von zwei zurückgeschickten habe ich, also nochmal Mail schreiben und weiter hoffen. Wir werden in Zukunft keine Artikel mehr von POC kaufen weder direkt noch woanders. 92,50€ stehen mir an Rückerstattung zu, nur 50€ wurden erstattet!

POC har riktigt bra och snygga produkter, men deras returtjänst är en katastrof. Jag fick betala 275 kr för att returnera en vara till Nederländerna, och en annan retur skulle gå till Tyskland. Där fick jag visserligen en returetikett, men den var för UPS – och det finns inget UPS-ombud där jag bor. Processen är omständlig, krånglig och långt ifrån kundvänlig. Många andra företag har löst returhantering betydligt bättre. Tyvärr gör detta att jag mest troligt inte kommer att handla från POC igen, oavsett hur bra deras produkter är.

I had an issue with some MTB Knee pads, reached out and a lovely lady called Denise in customer services was brilliant! Love POC product and always looking to purchase more!
