Polar step was amazing way to log your adventures and the albums they offer once your finished your travels are amazing the quality the presentation and the attention to detail every step of the way.

I love Polarsteps! As someone whose hobby is journalling and making photo albums, it combines these two activities in a very effortless and easy-to-use way. I really like that I can look back on my trips and relive lots of little details. It's also a great way of keeping friends and family up to date. I don't use any other social media, but I am committed to Polarsteps now for future trips.

I ordered a Travelbook once now. The price point is rather high, but the quality of the album was even better than expected. Beautifully made, sturdy, and it is also very nice that certain details (temperature, date, altitude, location) are visualised automatically per step. We also really liked the overview with the statistics at the beginning; it truly adds something. Makes it more immersive.

The only point for improvement is that the text has been 'cut off' in a strange way on a small number of pages, where for example the last three words of a sentence end up on a completely new page. That is a waste of paper, of course, a whole page with only half a sentence on it. Also because it makes the album unnecessarily thick and more expensive, as more pages means a higher price. I could probably have adjusted this manually beforehand, but I didn't notice it, unfortunately. It would be nice if this could be prevented automatically.

I love using Polarsteps when I travel and I think I will use the app to create a Travelbook again next time.

Facilité de composition grâce à ce qu'on a déjà fait durant notre voyage. Il suffit de rajouter quelques photos (celles des autres voyageurs! 🙂) et de les réagencer un peu, et hop! C'est terminé. Bonne qualité d'impression dans l'ensemble.

Excellent app to capture the photos and text from our trip. Our family thoroughly enjoyed receiving a daily update on location, photos and thoughts from the trip as we progressed. The book is excellent quality and we will treasure it for many years to come.

Very easy to get a travel book from Polarstep. An excellent way to keep in mind my travels

I had high expectations of Polarsteps for printing my travel book, but unfortunately the result was very disappointing.

The photos I uploaded were high-quality images taken with a professional camera. In the printed book, however, they appear dull, with a brownish tone and very low contrast. The difference compared to the original images is significant and does not reflect the actual quality of the photos at all.

I contacted customer service, who explained this as a RGB to CMYK conversion issue. While I understand that some variation is normal, this goes far beyond a minor difference.

To their credit, they offered a reprint with additional quality control. Unfortunately, the reprint had exactly the same issues — no improvement in color, contrast, or sharpness.

Despite this, the only compensation offered was either a 40% discount on a future order or a 30% partial refund. A full refund was not provided, even though the issue was not resolved after the reprint.

Overall, I’m very disappointed. The concept of Polarsteps is great, but the print quality and resolution handling in this case did not meet reasonable expectations, especially for something as meaningful as a travel memory book.

I hope the company improves its print process and customer resolution in the future.

Truly a great gift to oneself ! Memories made even more beautiful in a coffee table book, lovely to gift to a fellow traveler as well.
We had to wait a very long time to receive ours, we live in Cape Town and it was made in Australia (which we were not aware of when ordering) but when reaching out to the Polarsteps team, they helped us fast and friendly. Where the postal services tracking number was of no use at all, they made up for the missing info and we received our book within the week after our inquiry/complaint.
The quality is great and yes, we will do it again after our next big trip.

Thought the book would just be some pictures, but it was the whole trip you put on the app! All the texts, info about the place, dates etc. Definetily recommended!

The photo book was easy to make from my saved notes and photos in Polarsteps on my phone and arrived within a fortnight. Looks awesome
