I had a frustrating experience with Policybazaar while purchasing car insurance. During the sales process, they promoted car wash vouchers as part of the policy benefits and shared a list of multiple locations where these vouchers could be used. This offer influenced my decision to proceed with the purchase.
However, after buying the policy, I was informed that the vouchers are valid at only one location, which is not convenient for me. When I raised this concern, the request was denied without any proper resolution.
This feels misleading, as the benefits presented before purchase were not honored afterward. I would advise Policybazaar to be more transparent and accurate in communicating such offers, as this directly impacts customer trust and satisfaction.

I'm shocked and disappointed with the horrible service from PolicyBazaar. Bought a policy through them, and when it came to claiming reimbursement, it turned into a nightmare 🔥.
- *No Single Point Contact*: No dedicated person to reach out to. Every time, a new agent answers.
- *Reimbursement Claim Support Team Irresponsible*: Claimed for a legit expense, and they kept delaying without any updates.
- *RM Availability Limited*: Relationship Manager hardly responds. Forget about getting proactive support.
- *PolicyBazaar unable to help*: When I escalated, they just passed the buck. No resolution on time.
Worst insurance experience. Wouldn't recommend PolicyBazaar to my enemy 😤.

Warning: Do not trust the verbal promises made by Policybazaar agents. I was sold a policy under the pretense that it included maternity and dental as 'hidden' complementary benefits. Customer support later confirmed this was a lie. Even with an official ID, the agent's word meant nothing. Terrible experience—avoid them if you value transparency.

feels like a scam
I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with PolicyBazaar.
I paid for my motor insurance on 5th March, even though my previous policy was expiring on 8th March. I was clearly told that my policy had been renewed and would be activated from 9th March. However, as of 17th March, I have neither received the policy document nor has it been updated on the VAHAN portal.
When I contacted the insurer directly, they informed me that my insurance is still NOT activated. On top of that, PolicyBazaar incorrectly reported the payment date as 15th March instead of 5th March. Now they are asking for a pre-inspection before activating the policy, which was never communicated earlier.
This is completely unacceptable and misleading. Due to their negligence, my vehicle has effectively been without valid insurance coverage.
Highly disappointed. This feels like a scam. I strongly advise others to be cautious and not fall into this trap.

Refuse to refund policy after giving false information
There was an error in a policy of insurance that I took out, so I was advised by PolicyBazaar to take out a second policy and that they would refund the initial policy. They now refuse to refund the first policy - they claim they are working on it, however it has not been paid, and the refund is almost 2 months overdue. No meaningful updates and if I call to complain, they tell me my refund will be paid in a couple of days. This has been going on for weeks.

I have taken a policy which was issued with incorrect details. I failed to get the corrections done even after sending dozens of mail and phone calls. Finally, after escalating the matter to Head of Customer Services, my issue got resolved with support of Mr. Ashish Sharda - PW42560 within one day!
