Will not replace a missing item

Replacement accessory arrived this morning, as promised. I think it's only fair therefore that I update my rating accordingly to reflect the prompt manner in which the issue was resolved.

Purchased a product from them via Amazon.
Unfortunately one of the cleaning tools was missing when I opened the packaging.
I've been backwards and forwards between Amazon and Polti. To be fair to Amazon, they are unable to send the missing accessory. (They suggested returning the whole product which just didn't make sense just to provide one missing part).
Polti will not deal with the matter, they will not handle a simple replacement of one item. Not much to ask for you would think.
Very disappointing experience.

Support and warranty lacking…
I had a Bosch steam generator for years; I felt that a Polti would speed up my ironing and give me a superior finish.
The first one stopped steaming and was returned to Polti for repair, several weeks later they sent me a refurbished steam MOP, not iron.
Eventually they sent a refurbished steam generator iron, but a different model.
It wasn't as good, but hey, it will do.
6 months later, it steams constantly when turned on, the cable is frayed and despite always using Kal-Stop, is spits out brown water....
Polti's response.... it is out of warranty, pay for the repair.
Essentially requiring 2 (+) repairs in less than 2 years, I won't bother paying for a repair, I will spend my money elsewhere.

1st Class Customer Service…
Very refreshing to receive a 1st Class Customer Care service. Charlotte went above and beyond to source a flexible trigger hose for my Lecoaspira 700. Whilst Polti UK no longer hold stock of this item due to the age of the machine, the hose replacement could be compared to a human needing a hip replacement! Everything else in perfect working order. Charlotte sourced stock held elsewhere and the item is currently in transit. Thank you once again for an excellent service.

Great first interaction with customer services
I bought a Polti Vaporetto steam cleaner at the end of October and the following day there was a new offer on the website. I contacted customer services on the off chance the order hadn’t already been dispatched and whether I could cancel and re-order at the new price. Charlotte handled my query and called me back promptly after discussing with her manager offering to ship the additional cloths and refunding the difference in price. Whilst the amount wasn’t significant I was impressed by the service and professionalism of Charlotte and the team. I have since used the steam cleaner to clear grout lines and was very impressed with the machine. The ability to refill water whilst the steamer is active is a benefit that shouldn’t be overlooked when purchasing a cleaner. Many competitive products need the device to cool for 20+ mins before refilling. I am confident based on my interactions so far that should an issue arise I will get sound support. Well done and keep up the good work!

Poor build quality.
The flexible hose on the head splits and a new head had to be bought. The flexible hose only lasted about 6 month on both heads.
The locking clamp on the bin is also too week. Mine has snapped off several times. I did buy a new bin but it did the same thing. I have had to glue the hook on several times. Even so when working it was a good hoover.

Improved Polti customer service and product failure
Edit: I have contacted customer service on the email they provided below. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a very quick response, together with evidence that their email service was undergoing problems when I first contacted them a few weeks ago. I have also now received a replacement part and my machine is now back in service. Thankyou for looking into this again polti; I have amended my rating to reflect the new response I’ve received. I’m still disappointed that a part that should be heat proof cracked so badly under the heat after only a small number of uses but I am hoping for a better outcome with the new part and will revisit my review again at a later date.
Original review: I bought the smart 100b cleaner via Amazon and only used it half a dozen times. In under a year the main cleaner head cracked under the heat allowing steam to come out in every direction. I contacted Polti who asked me to send pictures etc. They haven’t responded again despite a number of emails. Absolute shocking customer service with what could be a very dangerous product.

I bought a used Vaporella from Polti on eBay. Unfortunately it did not work. I called their contact number from their website and they were extremely helpful and sent me a working replacement very quickly. Thank you to Charlotte for making it so stress free.

Five times tried to register my new…
Five times tried to register my new product and still the stupid page would not upload all because of a giant info box going right across the bottom of the form cutting out the rest of it.now I have to phone them which I wish I done in the first place.All info I put in was correct!!

I purchased the Vaporetto Smart 100B…
I purchased the Vaporetto Smart 100B and it looks to be a good machine. I’ve only used it once so far but am impressed with how it has cleaned my floor and grout as well as my shower doors. I like how easy it is to fill and refill and that the machine is so compact. The extra cloths will be very useful!
Charlotte (Customer Service) was extremely helpful and patient - thank you so much. Definitely went the extra mile!

Reporting a fault
Had problem with my steam cleaner emailed company and recieved a reply with hours lovely guy named Dan,he asked me to try something which I did unfortunately it still didn't work,I was sent a replacement steam cleaner the following day excellent service would certainly purchase other items and reccomend to others

Excellent customer service
Had a problem with the led motorised head of our Polti cordless vacuum. It was about 8 months old and was purchased from Ideal World. This company have since ceased trading and I had no receipt and unable to access my account with Ideal World.
An email to Polti with serial number and photo of problem was sufficient for this company to respond within an hour to say no problem and replacement on its way!

Purchased a vaporetto machine 6 weeks ago and the clip attaching the tubes broke. Customer service is appalling and still waiting for replacement part. So sorry I wasted £300 on this. Supervisor no use and sends defensive cheeky emails.

Excellent products and customer services
Polti are an Italian manufacturer of 'steam-based' products, many of which are multi-functional
Their customer services team are excellent.
Bought two items from their website directly, very impressed with advertising videos of both products
So much so that I decided to purchase both a lightweight portable product* as well as the vacuum / steam carpet clean combination.
I wanted products to be; simple, effective and usable with no strain on my back
Unfortunately, 2nd item didn't work as expected.
After sending a few emails, the problems were identified and a new product was sent out within 24-hours. Very impressed with service team, and now have usable, effective products, which are eco-friendly.

Polti Vaporetto
This is the second Polti purchased in two years. Very disappointed at first with the Customer Service. The Customer service has been much better they have taken the time to look at the issue, which is now sorted. The delivery was super speedy. Very happy with my product now.

Shoddy components!
The Vaporetto Polti .This cleaner functions very well. Shame it is let down by its shoddy components. Parts of the cleaning head cannot withstand the heat from the steam. Some parts warped out of shape causing leaks and some simply perished rendering the tool useless. Actually replaced the head tool twice, with the same result!!! Such a pity the designer never tested the components! Have to look for an alternative, D.G.F.
