I contacted Sonia at Polti U.K. regarding a damaged hose on my steam cleaner, with the excellent service provided by Sonia this issue has been resolved and a new hose has been issued to replace the damaged one. The customer service and products by Polti U.K. are excellent in my experience, I would highly recommend.

Bought a steam generator about 4 years ago, it’s fantastic, also bought a sturdy ironing board again superb, recently purchased a cordless vacuum cleaner so far so good.
Polti is a brand you don’t always see in the uk, however my experience as been brilliant, it’s a shame some ratings seem low from others.

The rudest most useless person with absolutely no knowledge of the product , why are Polti employing people like this her garbled couldn’t care less attitude was unbelievable . I suggest someone in authority records these conversations to realise the damage this attitude causes your brand . I believed Polti was a reputable company . No way will I ever purchase any Polti products again . Why employ such a person so obviously in the wrong job . First time in my 78 years have I been so insulted by anyone , customer services is a joke . Shocking .

rang customer service this morning about my polti iron no steam just dying after 5 minutes of ironing, told me to put 2 kalstop and fill tank up in the iron and steam into a bucket did that steam stopped after a minute nothing happening rang back got my details up to send back for repair asked me for my bank details I asked her why said for the repair said I had a10 year warranty on boiler she said its 2 years and its ran out I bought it on 7th june 2019 and only because of the 10 year warranty its already been repaired twice DO NOT BUY A POLTI IRON waste of money and there not cheap. told her I will put it in the bin and buy a new one, her attitude stinks and should not be working in customer service no help at all as far as the warranty is concerned not worth the paper its written on I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A POLTI IRON AGAIN,be warned people,this iron has spent more time travelling in a box for repair than its been on my ironing board what a waste of £239.00 never again.

Took 12 emails back & forth to ‘customer services’ over 3 months before a phone number was provided. They just kept trying to close the ticket hoping I would go away.
Then they refused to honour warranty. Awful experience & I’m also out of pocket £240!
Companies can’t treat customers so poorly - I predict they will be out of business soon enough. Horrible experience.

Absolutely shocking service.
Had an issue with a mop not steaming customer service offered to send a new one out straight away which was great, problem is they didn't put the request through so that caused delays and I was ok with that, the second point is that I had to call back in a week to find this out and then when they put the request back through they sent it to the wrong address. I had to call parcelforce directly in order to rectify their cock up.

I am happy with my Unico steamer for now, but the customer service has been quite unimpressive.
I bought the new steamer and one of the accessories was broken. I ordered a replacement online and they sent a wrong item to me that was also packed in a dirty plastic bag and was dusty itself. That was an appalling experience.
I ordered a replacement again and received this time a new item, but again the wrong one.
I ordered the replacement the third time, had a long delay and then got a reply that they run out of parts and that I had to purchase it myself. I replied to the email and they never got back to me.
I can confirm that this company has a horrible customer service in the UK.
Update 2 years later: the product is not sturdy, quite flimsy. I had to order a repair as tube connector unscrewed with use and the fixed price is £150. They have fixed it promptly and well, but I would expect longer service time from such a pricey item.

I had a problem with my forzaspira cordless vacuum ,the motor was making a screeching noise, and it was only a few weeks old, i contacted customer service, expecting to be sent a new motor unit, but they sent a complete new vacuum cleaner with all the attachments.
Thus giving me plenty of spares in case of problems going forward.

I purchased a Polti Iron as I thought…
I purchased a Polti Iron as I thought it would be great quality given the cost. Sadly I was mistaken. After a few months the first iron stopped working. Initially the response from Polti was good and they returned to me a new iron as the original was beyond repair. Now just a year later this one has given up the will to live. Polti have informed me that the iron is no longer in warranty, clearly their expectations of the product isn’t very long hence the short warranty period.
I would describe my ironing time as moderate, I’m not at Olympic level just enough to watch a bit of Netflix while I knock out the school uniform and a duvet. So I had hoped this would live longer than a year. It’s now on its way to the recycling centre and Amazon have dispatched something cheep and cheerful so I can finish my ironing pile which now seems to have a frost in the top!
5* aftersales service
I've got the Polti Vaporelli steam iron. Not the best on the market but good for the price conpared to others. 5* for customer service though, the water holder had cracked and without any problem at all Polti sent me a free replacement. Its not often these days you get good after service like that.

The fall of an iconic Italian brand
I'm Italian, so having memories of my grandmother proudly using Polti meant I blindly trusted the brand.
I bought a very expensive vacuum cleaner and another very expensive steam iron (more than £1000 for both), sure they would have been the best purchases of my life. They worked great for the first 6 months. The cheap plastic they're built with made them quickly chip and break, with my great dismay, as I used them with love. The vacuum cleaner became unmovable after it lost its wheels, and also lost power. The iron just stopped releasing steam despite the care and regular descaling. I tried to contact the customer service, they replied after ages and sent the wrong replacement parts.
I was so disappointed. This brand became a factory of toys that surely impress right after purchase, but that feeling fades away quickly as they break and become frustrating in little time. I guess Polti is a nice memory of the past: you may buy a nostalgic experience that last a few weeks, but if you need reliable appliances that last, please look somewhere else.

Ripoff!
First machine delivered came in bits, broken, I should have just got a full refund. Replacement machine had no vacuum power, still no refund. Third machine, same as second, no vacuum power, still no refund! Sent back third machine for ‘their’ engineer to do a report, and accused me of misuse, they're invalidating the warrantee…. How convenient for them. Customer service are brash, rude and unhelpful. I ended up getting my money back through my credit card…. I will never recommend or buy a Polti again, ever! Avoid!
Anyone reading this would be far better off buying a £150 steamer from Dupray.
