The store holds a really comprehensive stock of furniture, catering for a huge variety of tastes and room sizes. It’s a great store to look around as everything is well displayed. We were looking for a new sofa and chair and Hakima, the assistant, was extremely helpful and patient, giving advice and details we wouldn’t have thought of. All in all, it was an excellent shopping experience. Thank you. We will be back.

Andrew, Sales Assistant was really helpful and patient when I chose my new mattress. In his adivice he pointed out the pros but also the cons which is not often the case and which I really appreciated going from the original Tempur mattress to a one selected from a choice of 12 Tempur mattresses which was quite confusing.

Customer service was excellent in store when purchasing the new furniture. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
Steve and Tom were our delivery men and they were both brilliant. They were friendly and courteous and arrived punctually. They took great care when getting the furniture into the room which was a tricky job but they persevered and patiently tried a few ways to get the furniture round a corner finally successfully manoeuvring things into the sitting room. Fantastic effort and a job brilliantly executed.

Andrew our Sales Advisor was brilliant. We wanted a new bed solution. Andrew patiently explained and demonstrated relevant considerations which was critical to our choice made. We also purchased a reclining chair which again Andrew gave a thorough review of benefits before we made our decison. Customer service at its very best.

Good selection of furniture. Very pleasant store in which to shop. Prices reasonable. Assistant Sarah was extremely helpful, quickly understood what we were looking for. Very patient and knowledgeable. We will go back whenever we buy more furniture

We bought a carpet from Ponsfords and from looking and choosing we received expert advice from Karl and then the three fitters Graeme Paul and Will spent two days with us moving all the furniture taking up the old carpet making good the flooring and laying the new one
They were professional and very courteous and they made an excellent job clearing up after the job was complete and restoring our living room.
We can't rate them highly enough!

Great service from measurement to fitting. Excellent communication throughout. Easy payment method and top quality service. Can’t fault Ponsford’s at all; have been using them for over 20 years. Carpet fitters Will and Paul were friendly and efficient. Carl was also extremely helpful! They always deliver!

We were greeted on arrival in store but the staff left us to browse at our own pace. Steven was v helpful when we asked for more information. He was helpful, friendly, clearly v knowledgeable, and could answer all our Qs. There was no hard sell and he was happy to leave us to mull things over in our own time.

Once we’d ordered the sofa, we were expecting a call the working day before delivery to give an am/pm slot but when I hadn’t heard by 4pm, I rang them. They gave a time slot of 1-3pm which was helpful. At 2.15 they rang to say delivery was likely to be 2.45 and they were bang on time.

I’d told the shop that my garden has lots of steps but unfortunately this wasn’t passed to the delivery crew. Although Steve and Tom weren’t too happy about the surprise, they were good natured, friendly and most importantly, collected the old sofa and delivered the new one. I have no doubt less customer focused companies would have refused delivery and turned tail.

Delivery was swift and seamless. They worked perfectly as a team and the whole thing was completed impressively quickly, smoothly and with no fuss.

I’m delighted with the service and I hope the sofa itself lives up to the high standards shown by the staff.

Mary at Ponsfords has been phenomenal. She helped me order an amazing 3 seater sofa and footstool and I’m beyond happy with it. The whole process of ordering, I was left alone to have time to think and they only came to me when I asked, which I think is so rare and perfect service. The whole process of ordering, delivery and after sale service has been nothing short of world-class. I will forever use this company only now for basically anything and everything they sell in store, because I’ve been that impressed with how perfect it all has been.

Graeme & Will arrived promptly and worked hard throughout the day to fit a new carpet in our hall, stairs and landing. They kept us informed regarding their progress and any issues they encountered. They were polite friendly and cooperative throughout. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Went to Ponsford today to choose new sofas. Nicola was very helpful and not pushing a sale. Gave us plenty of time to decide which we wanted and also choose from the huge range of material and colours available. Would definitely recommend.

We had already ordered furniture from Ponsford and given the excellent service we received decided to look no further for a carpet.
We had a specific requirement in that we wanted to try and soundproof our lounge as much as possible from sound coming through our floor from next doors garage area.
We made an appointment for Karl to visit, he is a wealth of knowledge what he doesn’t know about carpets is not worth knowing.
He advised on the best possible underlay, and although it would not totally eradicate the problem it would certainly help.
We chose a carpet, ordered it and within a couple of weeks we had it fitted.
Graeme & Will our fitters arrived on time and undertook the job in hand with expertise and care.
Graeme a craftsman accompanied by Will an excellent assistant.
These two chaps go over and above, they excel in their work as they genuinely care.
An absolute pleasure having them in my house and a wonderful job too.

Ponsfords delivered and fitted carpet for stairs, landing, master bedroom and dressing room. Lifted old floor coverings, moved furniture, cleaned up and removed all waste. Graeme and Will worked tirelessly to get everything done on the day and leave us delighted with the expertly fitted finished product.

I was given a 2 hour delivery slot the day before and then phoned half an hour before arrival which was helpful.
Steve and Tom were great removing our old sofa and bringing in our new one . Very polite friendly careful and concientious. Fully recommend

My wife and I wisted Ponsfords without any Real decisions made about what sort of suite we would like as a replacement for our current one. We met up with Hakina a sales advisor and must’ve spent at least an hour if not more in the store without any pressure but offered advice guidance which soon became apparent as experience . We left armed with information and advice got Home and made an informed decision but just to make sure we revisited today yet again we spent a good hour without pressure just guidance and advice I have to say Customer Service like this is very rare these days and I would like to thank Hakina for her service and advice, we would like to add that you are a credit to the company and your customer service is excellent.

I contacted Ponsfords customer service yesterday with a query regarding a sofa purchased 14 years ago. I needed a spare part but was unable to locate the manufacturer via the web so turned to Ponsfords to see if they might help.
This morning I had a call from Catherine who was extremely helpful. She too had looked for the contact details of the manufacturer but they were not responding leading to the conclusion they were no longer trading! However, she was able to offer suggestions as to where the replacement part might be sourced, which I am currently pursuing.

Top notch service by Graeme and Will today. Beautiful carpet and an excellent fitting service with a smile. Even offered to move our furniture back for us. Would definitely use again!
