100% a scam

100% a scam. They will comment on here that there not a scam with some generic response that they use for ever negative review. I ordered on May 5, 2022 and haven’t received anything. What they will do is ask you to wait 6-8 weeks which is conviently the amount of time where you can’t file a chargeback. Look at their social media like instagram, it will say there are a certain number of comments on the photo or video and then the minute you click to see the comments they’re gone. That’s because they are deleting them. This company is based out of Belgium and is scamming hundreds of people. Don’t fall for this scam. The stupid women who pretends to be the ceo who is going to reply to this is also a scam and is most likely a greasy Belgium dude buying coke with your $500.

Terrible Customer Service - No product and No refund

I waited for about 6 months and then never got the product. There was delay after delay with excuse after excuse. No proactive communication.
Then I asked for refund at the start of April, 2023. I have chased in the intervening months and still no refund. They always give you the 'we are very sorry but...' and it's infuriating. It just doesn't take this long.
Do not recommend.

Biggest SCAM alert!! It's been more than a year and still no screens received. These people are master scammers DO NOT ORDER FROM PORTABL. Huge mistake. Never got any money back. Looking into hiring a lawyer. Horrible people scamming actual hard workers. STAY AWAY.

I rebuke the CEO's response. I have been in contact with your "dedicated support team" and I get a different person and an EXCUSE every time. Stop scamming people. Just give me my money back then!! I'd prefer it at this point. I already ordered another screen from a reliable company

I made an order close to 3 months…

I made an order close to 3 months ago, #1 on their add they never say it will take them 6 weeks for the product to ship, ( which hasn't been shipped) #2 while they are very calm and professional, it almost feels as if you are exchanging words with a bot, not a real person. #3 they always say they are working on it and will get back to you as soon as they possible can, but they never get back to you.

It is quite disappointing, because it truly appears to be an amazing product, it creates such excitement with the idea of the potentials of it.
Now, after reading a few reviews it seems I've been scammed, and i will probably never receive the product

Laurent Wéry needs to show leadership

Laurent Wéry needs to stop making excuses on here and show some leadership at Portabl. The company is still advertising a 15day delivery time on their website and yet our order placed on the 16th July 2022 has yet to be fulfilled. This would not be so bad if Portabl had the decency to give updates, but apparently actually providing customer service is more than they can manage. Instead one only gets an update if one actually contacts the company, as a result they have been put on notice that their non-fulfillment of our order is now at the point where it will become a legal matter with both our lawyers and the police.

The company has replied to this review with the same line about availability of raw materials, except others have brought a similar product to market and make it available for overnight delivery. Whereas Portabl still say on their website that the item should be shipped with a few weeks at the most, yet people who have paid for orders 50 weeks ago are still waiting. Let’s not forget that Portabl took $10.8million worth of pre-orders, all paid for in advance, so they had funds available to source from various suppliers.

Given their behaviour it looks like Portabl have no intention of fulfilling any orders and instead intend to continue hoodwinking the public into sending them money for empty promises

DONT BUY! IT'S A SCAM!

Wow, so I wasn't the only one. If I could give them a zero out of five, I would. Same as the rest of the reviews, ordered in full in April 2022 and have been requesting a refund since but have not processed this up until this day. Whatever small company this may be, refunds should be processed within 30 work days at most. SO SCAM! DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY! SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE HASSLE AND LIES OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING OF PORTABL.

I have been 'dropping them an email' with the refund request' only to get a response that apparently, I am on the 'list' for a refund, but it's been a year. So tell me how long should I really be waiting for a refund? It's not good enough, and I shouldn't be the one chasing my money if this company valued customer service. If this company is unable to fulfil a world-wide service and deliver what they promise across the globe, they should be limiting their service appropriately and accordingly to what they can handle rather than apparently leaving the rest of us waiting for years just to get our money back.

I ordered this product in 2017 as a…

I ordered this product in 2017 as a preorder. Paid the full amount in 2021, since they said that they would start shipping soon. Now 2023, and I still didn't get any response as to what is happening with my order. I have read other reviews on this page and have seen that some people that ordered later than me already received their product. And I also see that on the website the product is marked as "In Stock". I am starting to give up on ever getting this product.

SCAM

Helaas dezelfde ervaring als zo velen hier. Scherm in september 2022 besteld en tot op heden niets ontvangen, ook geen refund na meerdere mail uitwisselingen. Ik vrees dat het geld weg is en het hier om een malafide bedrijf gaat.
P.S.: ook lijkt het door de reactie van Laurent hier onder alsof het bedrijf inderdaad eerlijk hun best doen maar dat is DEFINITIEF NIET zo! Ik heb nu al weer meerdere keren gemaild en er komt altijd alleen maar ‚sorry en we doen ons best‘ maar verder gebeurt er niks. Wees gewaarschuwt dus!!!

Leider die gleiche Erfahrung wie mehrere Leute hier. September 22 bestellt und nichts empfangen, auch die bereits zugesicherte Erstattung läßt weiterhin auf sich warten. Ich würde sehr stark abraten bei portabl zu bestellen.

Het spijt me voor de frustratie en ik wil me namens het hele team verontschuldigen als je ervaring niet was wat je ervan verwacht had. Dat is het laatste wat we willen bij Portabl.

Het spijt ons als uw bestelling vertraging heeft opgelopen. Zoals u al zei, hebben wij net als de meeste bedrijven in de sector te lijden gehad onder de tekorten aan aluminium en halfcomponenten - we zijn niet de enigen, de meeste bedrijven hebben hier last van. Net als Sony met de PlayStation 5 of Tesla met hun auto's en vele andere spelers, is de productie erg ingewikkeld geworden om te beheren, vooral omdat de sector veel te lijden heeft gehad van de recente gebeurtenissen, maar gelukkig hebben we belangrijke leveranciers benaderd om deze problemen te overwinnen en de productietijden aanzienlijk te verkorten.

Het product lijkt alle mensen die het tot nu toe hebben ontvangen tevreden te stellen. (https://portabl.com/products/best-portable-usb-monitor-slide) Elke dag ontdekken we nieuwe unboxing video's van over de hele wereld, nieuwe tests uitgevoerd door journalisten en nieuwe commentaren die ons meer dan de andere verheugen. Comme tout le monde

Comme tout le monde, je n’ai jamais été livré après avoir payé en novembre 2019. Il faut donc monter une action collective contre ces escrocs de bas niveau qui continuent à faire de la publicité et à prendre des commandes qui ne sont jamais livrées. C’est incroyable que ces gens ne soient pas encore derrière les barreaux. Cette technique de réponse copiée collée excite encore plus les gens. J’ai bien peur pour eux qu’un enragé ne finisse par leur mettre la main dessus… Pour ma part, je cherche à monter cette action collective. Répondez en deux mots si vous voulez la rejoindre.

Horrible company

Horrible company , do not buy. Same as so many others promissed with shortly/soon etc. bought in June 2022, still no product. REquested refund via the form they supply and 3 weeks down the road no refund yet. Still getting the run around to get my money back.

BEWARE - 100% SCAMMERS

Like many others, I wish you could give 0 stars or report a retailer as a scammer.

As pretty much every single review on here states, I placed the order months and months ago.

During the transaction, there was no mention of any delays, however, as soon as my money had left my account, I received an email to say the item would be 6-8 weeks. I was extremely annoyed about this and so I emailed them immediately to check this wasn't just an outdated COVID message they had forgotten to remove. It was not.

10 weeks pass and I still have no item, so I start chasing, only to be told it's going to be another 4 weeks.

4 weeks pass, and this time I'm told another 6 weeks. I requested a refund at this stage. They replied back to my email and said they cannot give me an ETA for refunds.

This evening, I thought I'd see what the latest was from this disgraceful conning "business". I emailed to be told around "a couple of months". I struck up a conversation over live chat, who happened to be the same person who had emailed moments before saying another couple of months 'til delivery.

The live chat's default message was promising dispatch within 3 days of ordering, so I asked them outright to confirm this. Lilian did precisely that, confirming the scam to me.

I then pointed out that I was just fishing for information, trying to confirm that they were lying to people to get them to order. Lilian then started copy-and-pasting more blocks of code that they take out of their scammer's handbook. They started saying that they are fulfilling both new and old orders. It's just an outright lie. People are leaving reviews saying they haven't received orders from the past few years, yet they "claim" they will ship it within days:

"Hello, this is Lilian from Portabl's customer support.

Yes, if you order today, it will be dispatched on friday at the latest."

If this was anyone who wasn't a scammer's business, they would want to do everything they can to make sure their reputation can be salvaged, but instead, they just copy and paste the same lies and nonsense to everyone's review. It's pathetic.

Fortunately, it was within 120 days, so I believe I should get my money back soon. I feel very sorry for all the other people on here who say they ordered theirs years ago and still haven't received it!

The response from Portabl is laughable, as you will see from my original review, they don't even reply properly,y they just copy and paste the same old lies. They even did that to my review slagging them off for doing that 😹

I ended up buying these:

They have gone up in price now, and are more than what I paid Portabl, however, these actually EXIST!

I ordered from Amazon @ 22:30, and received them the next day by 10am!

Pour moi, ce serait même zero étoile.
Cela fait pratiquement deux ans que nous avons commandé et un an que nous avons demandé un remboursement.
Chaque fois, on me dit qu'on va me rembourser.
Il n'y a pas de numéro de contact, pas d'adresse réelle sur leur site.
Pas de vue sur l'état de la commande ou l'état de la livraison ou l'état du remboursement.

Les excuses du Covid, c'est terminé. Tous les acteurs ont résorbés leur retard.

En plus, vous répondez à tout le monde avec un template.

Nous avons donné maintenant une semaine à dater de ce jour avant de prendre nos dispositions.

Dit is puur bedrog

Dit is puur bedrog, scam, oplichting, fraude!!

Net zoals alle anderen het product maanden geleden besteld in mei 2022. Kostprijs was €652. Bevestiging gekregen bij aankoop, enkele dagen later de factuur ontvangen,... maar nooit het bestelde product ontvangen. Steeds word je met een kluitje in het riet gestuurd en blijken er vertragingen etc. Na 5 maanden in september het aangegeven refund document ingevuld en opgestuurd. Nooit de refund ontvangen...

Enkele maanden geleden dit al gemeld bij de economische inspectie

Heb uiteindelijk gisteren klacht neergelegd bij de politie ook. (PV LE.20.LB.001319/2023)

Hopelijk wordt dit bedrog gestopt en wordt niemand hier nog slachtoffer van.
