I was dealing with a last minute work problem and I needed to send a parcel across the country (Manchester to Dorset) on a Sunday for same day delivery. Porta were amazing and managed to arrange a driver that picked it up within an hour, and got it to my colleague in Dorset by 6PM.

I also spoke to customer service via the whatsapp web-chat, they replied within minutes and were really supportive throughout the process.

Saved the day and i'll most certainly be using this service again!

Pete the driver kept us informed all the way with our parcel from reading to Sheffield, he was very helpful.

Absolutely delighted with servicevfrom start to finish driver kept in touch and great care taken of my items have used the service 3 times and will continue do so 5 stars and highly recommended 😀

A huge thank you to both delivery drivers. My cottage isn’t easy to find at the best of times, let alone in the dark, but they went above and beyond to locate the property. When they arrived, they were friendly, helpful and cheerful throughout. I really appreciated their patience, professionalism and positive attitude.

Never needed a courier before so this was a very good find. My daughter at Uni had an emergency and needed something from home to be sent that day. Dave replied shortly after I'd booked the job and communicated very well. The tracker was on so I could see exactly when he would arrive and he kept me informed with timings for drop off and after job finished. highly recommend.

Picked everything up with care and delivered it promptly.

Customer Service is 100% efficient and quick to respond. Prices are very competitive and I would use another time. I had to cancel through seller not available for collection and was disappointed as porta was excellent in every way. They text and email plus you can contact by phone.

Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company.

I was promised a same-day delivery by 10 PM. It was a tight window, but they explicitly confirmed they could do it. Instead of just being honest when things got delayed, they strung me along every 30 minutes with 'he's almost there' until 1:30 AM.

At 1:30 AM, they finally admitted it wasn't coming and rescheduled for 9 AM–10 AM the next morning. But as soon as morning came, the exact same runaround started again. 'Only 30 minutes away,' 'just around the corner,' not answering the phone etc. over and over until the package actually showed up at 3 PM—17 hours late.

I had furious customers waiting on me the entire time, all because this company couldn't give me a straight answer and I had to partially refund . Avoid them if you're running a business

I love Porta for their great (immediate) comms with their drivers and reliability of every job I've booked to date. Will keep returning.

Paul was so helpful in helping me alter my collection. This is the second time i've used Porta over other companies as the peace of mind of being able to get in contact with the team and courier is absolutley ideal. I also really appreciate being able to change the delivery and collection options. Highly recommend!

Fast, easy to book and they delivered everything from london to Liverpool intact! They even collected my items the same day that I booked, and kept me updated by WhatsApp.
