We spent six unforgettable days at Villa Thea Mare Maistro by Posarelli Villas in Lakones, and to say it exceeded expectations would be an understatement. There were five of us, and we were more than comfortable in the spacious, modern villa. The photos truly don’t do it justice—this place has the best view in all of Corfu. From the infinity pool to the ocean-facing balcony upstairs, every moment felt like a postcard.

The villa is brand new, spotless, and well laid out, with a large kitchen, quiet bedrooms, and plenty of space to relax. The pool area was perfect for lounging, and one night we grilled out with meats from Michalas Butcher-Delicatessen—just down the road.

Adonis, the host and butcher went above and beyond throughout our stay. He gave us spot-on recommendations for everything—restaurants, beaches, local towns, and boat rentals. Thanks to him, we rented boats from Billis Paleo Boat Rental four days in a row and explored the coast by sea, which became a highlight of our trip. Every recommendation he gave made our time on the island better.

Lakones itself is a beautiful, quiet area that felt more authentic and peaceful than other parts of the island, including Corfu Old Town. The villa is walkable to Il Pozzo, George’s Shop and Bakalokafenio. The marina, boat rentals, more restaurants, and shops in Paleokastritsa are just a short drive away. A car is definitely recommended, as the roads are steep and narrow.

Some of our friends were staying in nearby villas, but ours quickly became the go-to hangout spot thanks to the comfortable setup, fast elevator, plenty of parking, and unbeatable views.

This villa truly made our trip. We’re already talking about coming back, and we can’t thank Adonis and his team enough for their kindness, hospitality, and all the thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. If you’re considering booking this villa—do it, and take every one of Adonis’s recommendations. You won’t regret it.

After my first request PV came back with an answer very soon. Questions have been clarified in very short notice and so I could finalize my booking very quickly.
Now I‘m looking forward to our stay at Crete in September.

"Questa struttura di alloggi a Volterra è stata la nostra scelta perfetta per una vacanza rilassante e divertente! Gli appartamenti lussuosi sono stati un vero rifugio in mezzo alla natura, con una piscina meravigliosa dove rilassarci dopo una giornata di esplorazione.

Escursioni in quad con aperitivo sono stati un'esperienza unica e divertente, mentre i giri a cavallo ci hanno permesso di scoprire la bellezza della campagna toscana in modo più autentico. Il servizio bar è stato sempre disponibile e accogliente.

Il noleggio scooter è stato utilissimo per visitare le località limitrofe senza problemi di parcheggio. La posizione della struttura è ideale, a soli 10 minuti da Volterra e 15 minuti da San Gimignano, due città medievali meravigliose. E se volete visitare Firenze, è solo a 50 minuti di distanza. Siena incantevole a solo 30 minuti .

In sintesi, consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chi cerca una vacanza rilassante e divertente in Toscana. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo e il personale è stato sempre disponibile e cordiale. Torneremo sicuramente!"

extremely poor experience with this company. We had loads of problems with our holiday villa including a heated pool that wasn't, a broken hot tub for over half the trip, and only one working shower the whole holiday. Posarelli basically told me we were wrong about all of these things, quibbled over stupid details, even threatened to ignore my complaint entirely because I "didn't tell them at the time" and then took 2 weeks to come back with any kind of final response, where they offered a paltry 100 euros back, which I felt was extremely insulting. Their attitude on email has been stand-offish and unhelpful through the whole process. I won't be using them again.

Good communication with the host, the site gives confidence in the booking arrangements and payment system. Better pricing for the same villa than other more well known sites.

Italy trip of a lifetime.
Valentina from Posarelli Villas was a God send to our family. Once we picked Villa San Carlo and Valentina contacted me, we worked together with all her suggestions and had a wonderful trip. She went above and beyond with tours and chef recommendations. Everything she suggested was the best. I can't say enough about the way it was all handled. Professionals but down to earth. Don't hesitate to contact Posarelli Villas for a trip you won't forget.

Have dealt with you for the last few years always for the same villa. Found the booking website a bitvtricky at first but it's got easier. Spoke to someone on the office last year who was very helpful.
