Bought a second-hand Audi.

Sales process appeared to have been handled professionally, but when I got home I discovered that one of the two car keys supplied didn't work. Changed the battery, but still didn't work.

Then telephoned the salesman who suggested that maybe I was given the wrong key (it had a tag on it with correct registration number) but then said I should email Aftersales.

When I did this, the initial response I received was:

"It may be that the key needs to be programmed , all our cars are sold with one working key and if a second is supplied it is classed as a spare only".

When responding that this was an unsatisfactory excuse and as a customer it was reasonable to presume both keys worked, I received the further response:

"It can be reprogrammed by the main dealer or there will be auto locksmiths that can do it as well ... On the day of the completion the handover sheet was signed to say you had received one working key".

When emailing further to be sent a copy of the handover sheet purportedly stating that only one key was operable and the other 'a dud', I perhaps unsurprisingly received no further reply.

I really would not recommend anyone dealing with this Company if it is willing to engage in such 'sharp practices' and without either transparency or integrity. This may have been a relatively minor matter (albeit still a cost and inconvenience) but must be illustrative of a wider untrustworthiness.

Strongly recommend steer clear of this lot!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I paid a £99 deposit on auto trader and went to view. The car was advertised with 53,000 miles on the clock. Upon arriving, I went to do a test drive and found the mileage to be 57,990. I complained about this, and after a period of arguing they agreed to knock £200 off. I then transferred the money, and they pulled out a form asking me to sign to say that I was a business not a consumer, which would have waived my consumer rights and standard warranty.

I had made it very clear upon arrival that I would be personally buying the car, and it was not going into a company. The name on the invoice is a made up business name, and does not exist on companies house, They took it upon themselves to make this name and got the address from my drivers license.

I then had to get a £70 taxi back home, which they refused to pay for.

They will reply to this review with a load of b*llocks like they have to all of their previous reviews, but this company is not worth dealing with, they are con artists, and clearly will not take any fall back when they sell you a dodgy car. The managers are obnoxious and rude.
