Best food prep company in the UK. The food is clean and the taste is magnificent. I mainly eat the jerk chicken and rice and the spaghetti bolognese.

The food is literally disgusting like actually putrid a lot of the meals taste sweet for some reason or extremely tomatoey .. my dad eats everything and I didn’t finsh my meals and he couldn’t even eat them because they’re that bad .. also the portions are actually terrible 3 tablespoons of rice how tf can I gain weight from that ?

We asked for further details as we couldnt identify you from your name under the orders section so we wonder whether we you intended to write this about Prep UK. You didnt respond though.
Our meals contain more than 3 table spoons of rice (140g to be precise). We dont cook with any sugar so they shouldnt taste sweet, and we only use our own blended tomato passata in 2 of the meals.
If you could respond so we can look into your issue that would be great :)

I ordered high protein 1 month food as my family was away and didn't want to rely on Junk food. These meals really helped my keep up with my fitness routine. They were fresh, delicious, good variety and easy to warm up. I'd recommend

Great so far!
Ordered 11 meals and 4 meals in very impressed. Tasty, good quality and easy. I’m quite fussy and hate anything with onions so to find a prep company that had meals 1. With a completely exhaustive list of ingredients and 2. So many dishes without onion, was great!

Best Prep meal
I ordered a 1 week meal about last week and received my order 2 days ago. One of the best services by PrepUK, they delivered the food on time as mationed and also the food I tried for the last two days is very good.

PrepUk strikes the balance between healthy and yummy meals
I have tried several ready made meal services and PrepUK is the only one, as far as I found, that makes meals for those who are looking after their health, their meals are made with wholewheat pasta and brown rice, ingredients that are good for you and keep you full longer. Their Spaghetti Bolognaise, Bangers and Mash, and Cottage Pie are SUPER yummy! And I don't even like sweet potatoes. If you are after weight loss like me, you'd really enjoy the change from the usual grilled chicken meals, I am so happy I can have spaghetti while I am watching my weight!

Meh 🫤 if your desperate for some meals then give these a go
The food was edible but that’s about it, nothing special and doesn’t really have a nice taste instead each meal comes with the same sort of sickly taste I can’t describe the taste but like I said it’s edible. I contacted the company in regards to my disappointment over the taste and lack thereof and was informed I couldn’t be able to refund it similarly to purchasing a supermarket ready meal which is fair enough. I also had two meals missing for which they did replace when I told them but I would have been liked to have been offered some sort of compensation for the awful taste and waste of my money that it was . I ended up throwing quite a few boxes away I did ask if I could return them and was told this wouldn’t be possible either which again I can understand but if someone is dissatisfied you could at least do something again. Anyway nevertheless would never order from here again I don’t know which celebs and ppl like this kind of taste! I only ordered because I thought there was quite a variety of options which was different to other companies but next time I’ll still to the company’s I know best rather have flavour to my taste than different foods . I wouldn’t recommend to anybody.

As I have already provided a detailed response to each aspect of your complaint via email, I will address your concerns again here for transparency.
We offer a ‘Taster Bundle’ consisting of five meals, allowing customers to sample our food before committing to a larger order. This ensures that if the taste does not meet their expectations, they do not incur a significant expense. However, you chose to order 12 meals, bypassing this option.
Our meals are carefully seasoned with herbs and spices, but we acknowledge that individual tastes vary—just as preferences differ for brands such as McDonald's, Nando's, KFC, and other meal prep companies. I personally checked the quality of the batch with other customers, who reported no issues, and I also sampled a meal from the same batch on Friday, which was entirely satisfactory.
You first reached out over the weekend, and despite our offices being closed, I responded promptly in my personal time. On Monday, you contacted us again regarding missing meals, despite having received your order on Friday and not noticing any discrepancies at the time. We reviewed our records and confirmed that your full order had been dispatched, as evidenced by the packing slip, which showed all meals had been ticked off. Nevertheless, to ensure customer satisfaction, we immediately sent out the two 'missing' pesto pasta meals that same day because you expressed the need for your meal plan to last until Wednesday, stating that this was a significant issue for you.
Your communication suggested that you were, in fact, consuming each meal, which contradicts your later claim of discarding them due to taste. If the meals had truly been as unpalatable as you described—comparing them to a ‘sickly’ taste—it is unlikely that you would have continued eating them or requested replacements.
It appears that your dissatisfaction primarily stems from not receiving compensation. In your review, you acknowledged our explanation and even stated ‘fair enough’.
Regarding returns, as explained, returning frozen meals requires next-day freezer transport, which would have been a costly process for you.
I have provided responses to each of your concerns, and based on the available evidence, there are inconsistencies in your claims about discarding meals while simultaneously following the meal plan and consuming them.
I regret that you did not enjoy our meals. However, I believe I have demonstrated that your claim of the meals being inedible does not align with the actions you took.
Despite the abusive language in your email and your dissatisfaction, we made every effort to address your concerns, and it appears you understood our position, despite leaving a one-star review.
I loved the way it’s packaged
I loved the way it’s packaged, all the food stayed fresh and great. I especially loved the spaghetti bolognese and the bbq chicken.
