Aviod this company it’s shocking I have not had 1 reply from 3-4 emails sent on my behalf the ford ranger went into limp mode after less than 1000 miles had to have it taken to ford Vertu at Orpington
Faulty trans mains control valve renew and retest
£1.941.62 found front engine cover leaking renew and retest £1.027.41
Then the labour. £1.181.05
Plus other parts and VAT
they say all there vehicles are thoroughly checked before going on sale. I really wish I hadn’t even bothered with this outfit and just kept my Range Rover evoque
They soon found fault with that when it came to part exchange
I would highly recommend you avoid this company I fell for the video of this nice looking car it’s all trickery
And could end like my experience I would leave no star rating if possible

I would not buy a car from this dealership.

I paid £25,000 for a vehicle, and after covering only around 1,000 miles the gearbox failed, leaving me with a repair bill of approximately £4,500. Despite numerous emails and phone calls, my concerns were not resolved. We were only four days outside their warranty, yet they refused to offer any goodwill or honour the claim.

The customer service was extremely poor. I was repeatedly spoken to in a patronising manner, being called “son” despite being old enough to be some of the staff’s grandfather. During one conversation, a member of staff allegedly told me, “We know where you live,” which I found intimidating and completely unacceptable.

As a result, I have instructed solicitors and have commenced a Small Claims Court action.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. I would advise anyone considering buying a vehicle from them to carry out thorough checks and proceed with caution.

Bought a Ford Ranger back in March, lovely vehicle but the thing that impressed us the most was the after sales service which was second to none. We had a few issues but as soon as we spoke to the team they sorted out all issues with no fuss. Very impressed. Would highly recomend.

This company really know what they are doing. Steve was A1 staff were knowledgeable and very helpful 👍 would I buy again? Absolutely definitely would . A dream from start to finish.

I have not bought a car from Prime Motors but have visited them on two occasions to look at cars and had a terrific experience on both occasions.

Cars were presented terrifically, help was available should I wanted to ask questions but I was left in peace to look over the cars at length, test drive was easy, just left drivers licence and they were happy for me to take the car out alone. At no stage was there any pressure sales tactics or someone awkwardly standing over you.

I have yet to make my mind up on whether to proceed with one of the cars I viewed but based on my experience I would happily buy from this garage.

Bought a low mileage 2012 Range Rover sport from this company

When I viewed I complained of a scraping noise when braking and the aircon not working.

Joel said he would have it gassed for me and the brakes looked at of which I said that the air conditioning wouldn’t last as it had 0 gas in what so ever

In the invoices with the car it says that it had new front and rear discs and pads in February so why was the scraping noise a rear discs that had cracked in 3 places when I only bought the car in April?

After that was sorted out of my own pocket as they didn’t want to help. I had restricted performance come up on the dash which was the passenger side inlet manifold cracked.

Again a call to Joel and the lads and again they didn’t want to do anything to help. Emails were sent again no help.

When they finally tried to offer a solution after insisting my car had a return to base warranty they finally sent me the warranty company details the day before my warranty was due to end.

In total the inlet manifold cost me 1200 pound.

New discs and pads front and rear 670 pound

Air conditioning condenser 560 pound

The show room is lovely but the guys selling the cars don’t have a clue. Are rude as hell when you raise a problem.

I definitely wouldn’t buy another car from them

Bought a BMW from these sharks..
Had major running problems, took it to a BMW specialist who informed me that the car had severe mechanical issues. The wiring in the engine had been completely bodged. The suspension was not the correct size all of which cost me £3000 to fix.No such thing as after care and I was told that a ten year old car couldn’t be expected to work as new…

Great experience from start to finish with the sales team @ Prime Motors.
I turned up at the garage with not much knowledge on the car I was after but the sales team were very thorough with me and sat me down to go through all their cars for sales & any specific details from myself of what I would like.
After some time I put down a deposit on a Mini Cooper and pick it up this week.
Would use them again absolutely.

So what about this Jag …. Let’s set the scene , the old standing joke with German garages was that German Jaguar dealers like to sell their vehicles on Fridays, so when they break down on Saturday, the jaguars garage is closed.

Well, true to form, on its first voyage, my Jaguar had an electrical hiccup and died like a dodo in the forecourt.

Long story short, Steve arranged a recovery and even supplied a courtesy Mercedes C-Class. He was fully prepared to rewind the finance if the issue proved serious, but I decided to stick with it and see the repair through. Steve kept me informed at every step and was transparent, acknowledging that if it turned out to be an ECU issue, it might mean scrapping the car and they would take a hit on it. We both agreed to send it to Jaguar, who fast-tracked the repair, and, thankfully, it was a minor fix.

Last Thoughts:

Steve is a straight-talking Englishman selling luxury used cars that, like any other, might occasionally need repair—that’s why you’re getting them at a fraction of their original price.

He’s not Father Christmas handing out magical cars immune to wear, tear, and physics. If something goes wrong, own your choice and work with the dealer to sort it.
