Fraudulent Practices of INR 37180

I was referred to Pristyn Care by my uncle, who had a positive experience at the Powai facility. Based on this recommendation and assurances from Mr. Shubham Yadav (Health Medical Coordinator, contact: 8929350884), I underwent a surgical procedure, under the impression that my TATA AIG medical claim was approved. Mr. Yadav informed me that I needed to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 2,000, and he assured me of insurance approval for the surgery.

Timeline of Events:
October 5, 2023: I underwent surgery in ADITI Hospital Mulund after receiving repeated assurances of insurance approval. However, post-surgery, I was informed by the Discharge Team that my approval was revoked, and I was suddenly liable for INR 70,000.
Miscommunication and Lack of Accountability:
Throughout this ordeal, I received conflicting information from your team, particularly from Mr. Yadav and Mr. Ashwin V. Mr. Yadav’s shifting narrative during phone calls compounded my confusion.
When I escalated the issue to Mr. Anirban, he advised me to reconnect with Mr. Yadav. During this call, Mr. Yadav changed his statement regarding the approval, ultimately disconnecting the call.
Financial Impact:
Due to the misleading information provided, I was coerced into paying a total of INR 37,180:
INR 2,000 (initial non-refundable fee)
INR 35,000 (discharge fee)
INR 180 (transportation costs)
Request for Refund:
I demand a full refund of the INR 37,180 paid, as the situation arose from your team's mismanagement and misinformation. This experience has caused me significant emotional and financial distress.

Conclusion:
I request a prompt acknowledgment of this complaint and an expedited resolution. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will be compelled to escalate this matter to consumer protection agencies and seek legal recourse.
