My cats are now safe from cars
From contact to completion - would highly recommend this company if you want your cats being safe. Having lost my last two cats in road accidents - I had looked for fencing that would stop our cats wandering. Protectacat was the answer. Very helpful administrators who planned the eventual visit by a very skilled lad called Mark. He was so helpful and explained exactly what he would be able to do for us. I have a vey small garden so the fitting was I guess easier than some - but highly effective. My cats are now good to go outside - but not able to leave the confines of our garden. Perfect and peace of mind for us moving forward.

Une aide et des conseils de tous les instants : vous envoyez le plan de votre espace et en retour vous avez l'implantation.... Du matériel d'une très bonne qualité et simple d'emploi puisque je l'ai monté avec l'aide de mon voisin.J'ai eu un peu peur du rendu final mais c'est très discret.
Une interlocutrice hors norme et qui vous conseille en français et à l'écoute de toutes vos questions et demandes ... Le résultat ? Pretty est tout le temps dehors et je peux la laisser seule .... Je vous recommence Protectapet

An absolutely fabulous experience from…
An absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish. The designs were submitted and ready to go in super quick time, in fact, I held THEM up a bit!
The installation was quick but so thorough, the guys who came to install were friendly and so efficient and knowledgeable.
The cats-well they are in seventh heaven!! They are out most of the time, and with it being a summer install, lying in the sun.
Absolute perfection-cannot recommend highly enough!! Thank you!

A brilliant way to give your cat freedom safely
ProtectaPet installed my cat-proof garden fence just over a year ago, and overall I’m extremely happy with it. The most important thing for me was being able to give my cat access to the garden without having to supervise her constantly, and the system has absolutely delivered on that.
For most of her life, she was an indoor cat, so being able to let her outside without a lead for the first time last year was a huge milestone. She absolutely loves having access to the garden. During the warmer months, she spends hours sitting on the lawn watching the birds in the trees, and I can relax knowing that she isn’t going to suddenly decide to scale the fence and disappear. I still bring her inside at nightfall because I don’t want her going out hunting, but during the day she has complete freedom to enjoy the garden.
It’s also reassuring that not a single one of the neighbouring cats has managed to get into the garden since the fence was installed, so I don’t have to worry about her getting into fights with other animals.
The reason I’ve taken off one star is a practical issue that became apparent during autumn. A lot of leaves fell into the gap between the ProtectaPet mesh and my existing garden fence, and they have proved almost impossible to remove. I’ve tried picking them out by hand and even used a very powerful leaf blower, but neither has worked particularly well. So I’m now left with a rather impressive collection of dried leaves running along the top of my fence. They do have a certain decorative quality, I suppose, but if I wanted to decorate my fence, I would probably have chosen something else!
That aside, I’m genuinely very pleased with the fence. It has given my cat a degree of outdoor freedom that I never thought I could safely give her, and seeing how much she enjoys it makes it completely worthwhile.

We also had a little smile at your unexpected “leaf decoration”! 🍂 There is a fairly simple way to tackle this: you can carefully unpick the staples securing the mesh to the fence, let the trapped leaves fall down, clear them away, and then re-staple the mesh securely back into place.

Package slightly damaged, but products were ok
The cardboard packages were delivered ahead of schedule, but they were not ok on the outside, with some dents holes.
Luckily they have put a lot of bubble wrap so everything inside was ok.

Quality product, quality service!
This is the second time I`ve fitted Protectapet systems. In the year since I did the first one the range of products has improved and a couple of design problems have been effectively eradicated.
I love the quality of their product. I have worked "on the tools" for forty five years, and am used to working with poorly designed, poorly made, poor quality kit. Protectapet is none of those things, and is actually a positive delight to work with.
The service their staff provide has not improved a jot over the year, but this is because there really was no room for improvement. The only thing over which I would take them to task is, when I ordered eighteen brackets, why didn`t they say to me "Are you sure you don`t want twenty three?"
When I did phone up to order another five bracket, Arran went to the warehouse and personally made up my order, so I received them the next day.
Icing on the cake? Protectapet donated £50.00 to the cat rescue charity for whom I foster!

Ik heb uw bestelling gecontroleerd en kan bevestigen dat deze binnen 48 uur na het plaatsen van uw bestelling vanuit ons magazijn is verzonden. Helaas is het pakket na meerdere mislukte bezorgpogingen door DPD teruggestuurd naar ons depot.
Volgens onze gegevens hebben wij u gedurende het verzendproces updates per e-mail gestuurd en heeft DPD u eveneens op de hoogte gehouden van de levering. The whole process
The whole process, from my initial enquiry through to the day of fitting, was so easy and stress free. Initial contact was with Craig who was patient with me and all my questions and Martin fitted it and he was great and worked around some quirky things in my garden. My kittens have now started to explore my garden and I have peace of mind that they are safe when having their outdoor adventures. I would definitely recommend Protect A Pet!

Pas pour tous les chats
J’ai commandé en mai 2025 pour la construction d’un catio recueillant 2 chats : un adulte de 7 ans et un de 1 an. Le grillage est beau, et facile d'utilisation. S’il n’y avait eu que mon grand chat, je pense que l’expérience se serait déroulée à la perfection. Malheureusement, après 1 an pile quasiment, la petite minette à su utiliser ses griffes pour découper le grillage et s’enfuir ( à 3 reprises). Nous sommes donc obligé de chercher une nouvelle solution pour le grillage…

Je suis vraiment désolée d'apprendre ce qui s'est passé. C'est quelque chose de très inhabituel pour nous. À ce jour, nous n'avons jamais eu connaissance d'un chat ayant réussi à griffer le grillage au point de le découper, c'est pourquoi nous souhaitons vraiment en savoir plus afin de comprendre ce qu'il s'est passé et de trouver une solution avec vous.
Auriez-vous, par hasard, des photos ou des vidéos que vous pourriez nous envoyer à info@protectapet.com ? Elles nous seraient d'une grande aide pour examiner la situation plus en détail.
Pensez-vous qu'il soit également possible qu'un autre animal (par exemple un chat errant, un rongeur ou une autre espèce) ait pu mordiller ou endommager le grillage ? Nous souhaitons simplement explorer toutes les possibilités.
Nous sommes très désireux d'en apprendre davantage afin de pouvoir vous accompagner et trouver la meilleure solution.

Rapport qualité prix décevant
Le service client est disponible et joignable par mail, de ce côté-ci c'est rassurant. Toutefois cela ne suffit pas pour compenser la mauvaise qualité de certains éléments du kit pour enclos ainsi que l'incohérence entre ce qui est fourni et le besoin réel. C'est-à-dire que les serre-câbles fournis sont trop petits et trop fragiles, que les poteaux ne s'emboîtent dans les piquets qu'au moyen d'outils et d'une force colossale, que la hauteur du grillage est insuffisante pour couvrir toute la hauteur des piquets et qu'il a fallut racheter un rouleau de grillage à part, et que l'enclos ne fait absolument pas 30m. Il aura fallut en tout 3 hommes très bricoleurs et musclés, et 40h de travail, pour aboutir à un enclos que les chats parviennent encore à traverser en creusant par en-dessous et la prochaine étape est de rajouter de la terre. Je pense qu'il aurait été plus rentable d'acheter tout le matériel séparément dans un magasin de bricolage.

Nous sommes évidemment très déçus d'apprendre votre mécontentement concernant nos produits. Toutefois, certains points nous laissent quelque peu perplexes.
Abordons les différents points que vous soulevez :
Le kit contient des serre-câbles courts et extra-longs : les premiers servent à fixer le filet aux bavolets, et à relier les deux types de filets entre eux, tandis que les extra-longs sont nécessaires pour attacher le filet aux poteaux. Leur longueur aurait dû être largement suffisante et, avec 100 unités fournies, la quantité aurait dû être amplement suffisante. Quant à leur solidité, ils sont flexibles et résistants aux UV ; ils ne devraient donc ni se déchirer ni casser.
Les supports de poteau à enfoncer sont conçus pour s'insérer à l'intérieur des poteaux verticaux, et non l'inverse. Nous ignorons s'il y a eu une confusion à ce sujet, mais l'insertion devrait se faire aisément en tapotant avec un maillet. Si l'opération s'est avérée excessivement difficile, la seule explication possible serait un défaut du poteau (par exemple, une déformation ou un enfoncement), ce que vous ne mentionnez pas. Si tel était le cas, veuillez nous envoyer des photos ; il s'agirait d'un problème de contrôle qualité, mais le produit n'aurait pas dû quitter l'entrepôt dans cet état.
Concernant la hauteur insuffisante du filet, nous ne sommes pas tout à fait sûrs de comprendre ce que vous voulez dire. Les images de notre site web ainsi que notre tutoriel vidéo vers lequel vous aviez été orienté lors de votre devis montrent que le filet en polypropylène est conçu pour chevaucher la partie supérieure du filet en acier soudé situé en bas. Il n'est pas prévu qu'il descende jusqu'au bas de l'enclos.
La vidéo montre également, vers 4 min 30 s, qu'il convient d'utiliser une pelle pour creuser une petite tranchée et y enterrer ce filet en acier afin d'empêcher les chats de creuser en dessous. L'ensemble doit ensuite être solidement fixé à l'aide des piquets d'ancrage fournis.
Enfin, concernant la taille de l'enclos, les matériaux fournis sont prévus pour 30 mètres linéaires ; le kit comprend donc 30 mètres de chaque type de filet, un nombre suffisant de poteaux pour cette distance, etc. Nous ne comprenons donc pas comment vous n'avez pas pu atteindre les 30 mètres.
Nous espérons que cela répond à vos préoccupations, surtout si vous visionnez le tutoriel vidéo qui devrait éclaircir la plupart des points. Il est disponible aussi bien sur notre site web que sur notre chaîne YouTube. Toutefois, si vous n'êtes toujours pas satisfaite ou si vous pensez, pour une raison quelconque, que les rouleaux de filet fournis faisaient moins de 30 mètres, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter à l'adresse info@protectapet.com afin que nous puissions examiner la situation plus en détail. Il nous serait très utile de recevoir des photos et les mesures de l'enclos final.
Nous assumons volontiers la responsabilité de nos éventuels manquements, mais nous sommes quelque peu perplexes face aux points soulevés dans ce commentaire.

I had a catio installed few days ago. The guys worked very hard in the heat and built a fantastic catio. The Catio measurements were 8 foot in height by 16 foot long on concrete . My cats went out for the first time today and they were very happy to take the air and I'm happy because I know they are safe. The product is well built service is amazing and good quality materials.
