Our vacation in the Villa Les Restanques was just perfect - from the super friendly and helpful house manager to the villa and the nice location. I would not hesitate to return to a vacation rental with Provence Holidays in the future.

five star experience
We were absolutely delighted with the house we stayed in (Mas Van Gough / Saint Medard) in St Remy de Provence. Provence Holidays were helpful throughout. Communication with our concierge was extremely easy and prompt via email, whatsapp and phone. All questions were answered within minutes. They could not have been better.
The house itself was by far the best we have ever stayed in. It has been decorated and designed to an exceptionally high standard. The grounds and house are superb quality, with tons of space and amenities including room for 12 people comfortably, amazing pool and pool bar area, pétanque, ping-pong, BBQ…all you could want. It also has state of the art cooking and dining facilities – never seen a kitchen and house so well equipped. It’s also a very easy walk into St Remy and all its great bars, shops and restaurants.
We would book with them and stay there again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend. They took excellent care of us, and made our holiday a very special one indeed.

Really comfortable, stylish and well-appointed villa in a lovely Provencal village. The villa is both private and close to Rustrel centre which has a lovely bar/restaurant, bistro, bakery and grocers. Loads of interesting places to visit nearby - a great base from which to explore Provence. The hosts are charming, welcoming and responsive while also respecting your privacy. My family and I had a wonderful week here. Highly recommended.

Wonderful villa and a short walk into Saint Remy
The villa is beautiful and the pool and garden area very relaxing. There are some high spec aspects which make the stay run smoothly from discreet air con to the coffee making machine and the bar-be-que; it all felt very thought out with the guest experience central to the design. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk into the stunning Saint Remy which is one of the most beautiful towns in Provence - the Wednesday market is a shopper's heaven!

We loved the house
We loved the house, the setting and the local Provence villages. The London Plane tree in the courtyard is a delight; lots of natural shade during the day.
The pool area is nice and open with lots of space & great views.

A lovely property and caring but non intrusive staff to support - however the Gardner does come early in the morning to mow the lawn each week which wakes you up.

A beautiful property
A beautiful property, well appointed and in a great location. Very quiet and private space, perfect for a trip with the family. The service and instructions provided by Provence Holidays were clear and comprehensive. The exquisite location of the villa on a hillside…
The location of the well equipped villa on a hillside with sweeping views of vines, olive groves and trees was outstanding, making for a great holiday experience. The poolside outdoor kitchen was well used.. The 14 year old teenagers loved the pool. Local restaurants, boulangeries and large supermarkets were 10-15 minutes away. A highlight was visiting the nearby Roman and medieval hillside towns of Seguret and Vaison La Romaine.
Surprisingly, (not a deal breaker) there were no toilet paper holders. Even vertical holders on the floor would have been appreciated.
By prearranged phone call Provence Holidays staff were helpful in changing the dates for our 2 weeks family stay.
I did not receive any response to my email asking about fireworks on Bastille Day in Avignon.

Beautiful Villa 5 minutes from Gordes
We had a wonderful experience booking through Provence Holidays. Their website is very user-friendly, making the entire process — from paying the deposit to settling the balance — smooth and stress-free. The team was also extremely helpful and responsive, even going the extra mile to arrange in-villa massages, which was a real treat.
The property itself was beautifully presented — clean, stylish, and in a fantastic location, just a short five-minute drive from the stunning town of Gordes. It made the perfect base for exploring the area while still feeling peaceful and private.
A couple of small points to be aware of: only one bath towel per person was provided, which felt a bit limited, especially during a summer stay. The weekly clean was quite minimal and didn’t include a towel change, which would have been appreciated. Also, while checkout was officially at 10am, housekeeping arrived at 9:20am, which created some unnecessary pressure as we were trying to pack up and leave.
That said, these were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic holiday. The overall experience with Provence Holidays was excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Soaking up the French countryside
We (7 adults and 4 children aged 7-13) were celebrating special annniversaries and birthdays and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mas Villard!
It was a beautiful villa with enough room for everyone to spread out but still be together.
Our hosts were so helpful ( giving us great advice about the best place to view the Tour de France up close) about things to do and where to eat !
We would all love to go back soon!
