Second time of using Purdie Worldwide Removals and Storage Ltd for both Storage and Removals. The guys could not have been more helpful and careful with my belongings.
Everything was well wrapped and protected and arrived in same condition as it left my old house after 3 months in storage and a 100+ mile trek across Scotland.

From getting a quote, payment and everything in between. The guys were efficient, friendly and made a stressful day run smoothly. I can’t thank the team at Purdies enough and would highly recommend to anyone that is moving home. Keep up the fantastic service yous provide!!

The removal men were so hard working. They were helpful and made removal day so easy.
It was expensive, but you get what you pay for. A first class service.

Movers made us feel calm. No dramas made at all and when time was tight at end of day, more staff were deployed to get everything over the line. Couldn't have asked for more.

When we told them that our severely disabled daughter had been horribly burned in an accident and was going to be in hospital on day one of our move and I needed to be with her, the management and crew couldn't have been more helpful.
The guys on the van were supportive according to my husband and and got on with moving the furniture out quickly and efficiently with no guidance needed. This was very helpful to us and just what we needed.
I should add too that compared to Edinburgh, Purdie Worldwide's prices are very cost effective.

The 2 guys from Purdie's went above and beyond. Shug and Old Mike were very professional with loading and unloading.

Everyone I encountered in the company conducted their business in a friendly cooperative yet professional manner. There were able to offer options for the difficulties I considered the move would cause me, the worked efficiently to ensure the agreed solution was enacted.

Nothing is more stressful than moving house, especially a week before Xmas. Hat's off and three cheers for the Purdie Worlwide Removals team who made the move far less a trauma than it could have been. From the get go we felt that we were in good hands, and come the day they did an incredible job at both ends of the move, calling in reinforcements as time rolled on and as we tried to fit the contents of a large house into a much smaller one. Everything was moved with not a bit of damage, a thoroughly professional job, well done! We can't commend this company and it's friendly considerate and helpful staff enough. Many thanks.

My experience with Purdie Worldwide was a nightmare.

Their packing standards are appalling, and they show no regard for the safety of your belongings.

For my international move:

My 75-inch TV was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap with no additional protection.

A marble-top piece of furniture wasn’t dismantled or properly packed, leaving it chipped and scratched.
Glass items, including a tabletop, were packed carelessly and arrived shattered.

I provided clear instructions and even labeled items as fragile, but they ignored everything. I have photo evidence of their poor packing methods.

Their negligence has cost me both time and money, as I now need to replace many items that aren’t available in my new country.

Stay far away from Purdie Worldwide!

I like to use local business and after using Purdie worldwide on several occasions I still think they are a very caring firm who are helpful and very mannerable. They always get my boxes delivered safely, even to Montana (and very quickly too). I would recommend them to anyone who needs their service.

Crew arrived on time and we so helpful and understanding. Always made things easy for us And guided us through the whole process.

With what can be an extremely stressful day, the two guys, with their witty sense of humour, kept us going throughout the day. Used the company 8 years ago when we had furniture in storage between moves. We recently needed to have a new sofa delivered through doors on the middle floor of the house. Purdie were once again first class from start to finish. If you have any removal or storage needs and you just want the job done professionally without any fuss or bother, then this is a company you can depend on.
