R44 Performance – Complete Waste of Time
Two booked appointments, both a disaster.
First: cancelled because they didn’t have the spacers they’d already agreed to fit.
Second: halfway into my drive, they call to say my springs were sent to the wrong place. I’d taken time off work for this.
Refund was a hassle too – delayed even though I paid the way they told me to.
Zero organisation. Zero respect for customers’ time. Never again.

Thanks for taking the time to outline your experience with us.
Upon reviewing the situation it seems the first appointment was never cancelled as the parts were not purchased and your fitting appointment was not confirmed by the sales team. The team may have agreed to fit the part for you but your appointment was not confirmed.
With your actual fitting date, we do apologise for the issue that happened here. As you can appreciate, we are not the courier and cannot foresee issues that happen due to courier driver error.
Your refund was processed the same day that your appointment was meant to take place. The sales team informed you that this would take 2-3 working days to arrive to you and I can see the refund was deposited 3 days after as per our guidance.
We understand the experience you has was less than what you expected however it seems the sales team did all they could to assist you throughout this process.

G90 exhaust tips.
So ordered my my G90 exhaust tips from r44 performance the website stated leading time 2-3 weeks.
After it received an email for increase in leading time for 5 weeks, which I accepted. But even after 5 weeks passed and after contacting them they seemed unsure of when will they receive the part which was frustrating.
After almost 2 months got a email they received “gloss carbon tips” not “matte”as the one I paid for.
and again I accepted just trying to let things pass and get my tips already.
And surprise received the item and it was damaged all the way.
After contacting R44 they were helpful and told me to return the item and would refund me my money + compensate with 40£ voucher and tbh that’s so little taking into consideration I paid 150$ shipping fees + waited longer than the stated time.
bear in mind the 150$ shipping fees and handling fee won’t be returned to me.
Anyways they didn’t even send me the 40£ store voucher, it’s not like I’m going to buy again with all the delays and stuff but for sure I would’ve not write this review because it would’ve at least showed me that they actually care for their customers.
Just saw your replay of saying that I got all of my amount back including the 150$ US that I paid for tax and internal handling from your shipping company.. well I can state this from here and I can confront you if you want in direct emails that you DID not return that amount.
you returned the exhaust tip amount and shipping amount I paid in your website which was 50 US$ , excluding the 150$ I paid externally for DHL for tax and handling fees.
Now you might say it’s my problem but I’ve got the part damaged from your side and it’s like I’ve threw 150$ in a bin.
For your 40£ as I stated before it doesn’t matter to me it’s just 40£ lol. it’s the act of kindness for giving the customer hard time (it doesn’t matter what a customer tell you especially if mistakes was from your end.).
if I was in doubt before if I’ll buy or not now I’m sure I’m NOT BUYING AGAIN.
And never dealing with you guys again and advice to customers, stay out of this company .

The G90 Exhaust Tips were a pre-order part as the vehicle model is very new and suppliers are working their best to have parts delivered to us as soon as possible which is why the lead time was extended and communicated to you. The production of parts for new vehicles is a complicated process to ensure fitment and quality is perfect paired with the number of M5 customers wanting parts immediately causes strain on suppliers.
The supplier incorrectly processed our initial order with them as we only ever intended for matte version of these tips to arrive to us. Based on your discomfort throughout the duration of the lead time we offered the gloss versions in an attempt to be upfront about the situation.
The offer of a $40 gift voucher was on the basis that you were to again re-purchase the tips when the next batch arrived into stock to which you responded that you were not sure yet, as this was your first purchase and it wasn't as smooth as you expected. As you did not confirm your re-purchase with us this is why the gift card was not provided to you.
Regarding your refund, please kindly check the amount you paid for the parts and the amount of your refund. You can see from this information that all shipping fees were refunded to you and it is not accurate for you to state on this platform that this was not returned back to you. We have not held any of your funds.
We do try and do as much as we can to control lead times provided by suppliers and ensure products arrive as brand new. It's a shame here that both matters affected your order with us. We are working on bringing more parts in as available stock to avoid this happening to future customers.

I purchased a mhc+ ducktail spoiler for M2 Competition
EDIT: Dealt with Blair after all the issues I had who was very helpful and understanding, therefore I feel it's not fair to give only one star review so changed it to three.
I purchased a mhc+ ducktail spoiler for a M2 competition, it stated in the product specification fitment guarantee, which is a bold statement for a third party part. I test fitted the spoiler when it arrived and it didn’t fit! In fact it wasn’t even close , about 30 cm of the spoiler didn’t even come close to making contact with the boot lid.
I contacted the customer service and was dealing with a person called Leya who was initially quite helpful,I asked for a replacement after I had explained my issues with the spoiler and it was arranged that fedex would collect the spoiler to be returned and then a replacement would be sent out once they received the defective product. I wasted 2 different days waiting for fedex who never came. UPS was then arranged to pick up another day so 3 days wasted. I cannot blame r44 for this but I wasn’t happy.
Once the spoiler was collected I asked when could the replacement be sent and did they have another in stock, this is when the customer service went down hill. Leya told me that once they had received the faulty spoiler and had done a quality check they would dispatch a replacement but would not answer my question about having another in stock. I checked r44 website and they did not have any stock of this product. Responses became slower after I asked this question and I asked the same question in 2 different emails asking if they had stock and each time Leya dodged the question and told me I had to wait for the return of the spoiler to them and then they had to do a quality check. It had been nearly 2 weeks by this point and I was done with waiting.
I asked for a refund as I had enough of asking about when the replacement would be sent and Leya lack of response basically refusing to answer if they had stock for the replacement which they did not. I had a friend go on the r44 chat to ask if they had this product in stock and he was told stock would be arriving with r44 in the next 2 weeks. So they did not have any stock so I felt like I was being strung along at this point. Leya answer was that if I was unhappy with her lack of response then she would give me a refund, her wording in this email seemed to me that she was now taking this personally which for someone in customer service is very unprofessional! I was being made to feel that I am the problem! all I wanted was a replacement in the beginning and was being messed around. I have now been told a refund will be given but it will take 5 to 10 days.
I have now received tracking that another spoiler is on the way to me? I have already been told by Leya that I will receive a refund but instead they send another spoiler. I do not want this spoiler I want my money back! what is wrong with this person? Terrible customer service ! I have used r44 in the past but after this I will never be going back thanks to their poor customer service. I am sure r44 will comment that this isn’t correct but this is the experience I have had.

We have reviewed all communication regarding your experience. Firstly, we apologise for the experience you had with the couriers we have never had so many instances where collections have been booked and not completed by the courier which caused the 2 week delay you have mentioned. All returns are processed on a next working day delivery back to us so there is not much delay once the courier is in possession of the package.
Regarding your response time via email, please take note that we receive hundreds of customer enquiries on a daily basis and the small team we have is not physically able to provide prompt responses at all times of the day even though we would like to!
The replacement part for your order had already been allocated to you which is why the team confirmed we did not have any in stock, because it was not available for purchase by another customer. Leya confirmed with you multiple times in earlier emails that a replacement would be sent out to you when we received the faulty one back.
The lead time of 5-10 working days for the fund to arrive back to you is a reasonable amount of time and stated multiple times in our refund policy which can be found on our website.
Leya was not in the office between the 14th & 18th of July and it is not entirely fair for you to ask what is wrong with her when she was not the person in control of the actions taken on your order when a replacement spoiler (which was allocated to your order from the beginning) was dispatched out to you.
Overall we believe there has been a lot of miscommunication here and tensions rising as you had 2 failed collection attempts increasing your agitation with the entire matter. We completely understand you do not wish to order again and this is a real shame as we do have very helpful team members such as Blair who can happily assist you.
