When changed cars they doubled my insurance
Had car insurance with rac for years. But the day I bought a new car and try change over policy. Rac I was paying £29.00 amonth they wanted to put policy up to £85 a month even the car way less powerfully engine. So when I cancelled policy they wanted £147 to cancel just be careful people Rac are rip offs.😡 oh and when I went on there to get insured as a new customer it was £47 so a lot of difference seems like they dont look after existing customers then 😡

Premiums across the industry are often influenced by wider market factors such as rising repair costs, inflation, and general industry risk shifts, which can unfortunately affect renewal prices regardless of an individual's excellent driving track record.
