Easy to order & product details very good

I have now used the RAC for 2 purchases, and each one was a very good experience. I found the booking set up easy enough to use, the delivery was good as was the items purchased.

The RAC response today is expected.

I have confirmation from RAC Shop (post & at complaint logfing)of the purchase: however, RAC Shop customer service do not seem to be aware of the services they sell.

You will note, RAC Shop cannot take ownership by giving a contact name, or number for escalation by simply being anonymous / generic to their response.

As I stated 'Apalling' & it is not about the cost now - just cautioning others of what to expect.

Ordered Vehicle History Checks through RAC Shop
Misplaced the email with order codes & requested a re-send of codes. Sent all specific acknowledgement emails & information of purchase; however, RAC Shop refuse to consider.

The issue is ignoring email request for escalation to resolve. Have requested about a dozen times but no response at all.

RAC Shop need to take all comms seriously & not hide behind generic email IDs / GDPR / DP & ignore customer communication's. It is not the cost now, more their approach to customers as a nuisance.

Appalling customer service, RAC Shop seems rub like a dictatorship!

Don't rely on RAC Shop providing post purchase service.

They have the perfect info page about all you need to drive through EU, perfect checklist and most truly complete kit

I ordered a set of headlamp bulbs and received a clutch. Contacted RAC and they were only interested in getting the clutch returned, not in getting the bulbs to me. I offered to return it to a store on my route but they couldn’t guarantee the lamps would be there for me to pick up at the same time. Then I offered to be in on a Saturday for a courier to pick them up, they don’t collect on a Saturday.
Every option was me having to go out of my way to return an unwanted item, but no mention of the lamps I ordered and needed before an eight hour journey to Scotland.
The chat ended by me saying that I’ll keep the clutch as it wasn’t worth the hassle for a £16 order, and I bought the lamps I needed elsewhere.
Anyone want a Ford clutch for £16?

Excellent service from start to finish. Communication was great throughout, the website was easy to use, and ordering was straightforward. Online shop is fine but unfortunately you use EVRI to deliver. I paid for next day delivery. They apparently attempted to deliver twice. On the third attempt they simply dumped the parcel on the doorstep and didn't even ring the doorbell. Why is it that they couldn't deliver it twice before if they were only going to dump the package on the doorstep??

Delivery time was poor (8days) this was due to out of stock but I was notified of this.

The family pack was great value and exactly what I needed for traveling through Europe.

Website was easy to navigate, found what I was looking for quickly, added to basket & purchased. Parcel arrived well packaged and within the time scale stated.

I ordered a dash cam & paid for installation from RAC Shop thinking i was getting it from a trusted reliable source , as i am a RAC member , only to find that it took nearly 3 weeks for my dash cam to arrive & they sub contract the installation out to another company who has changed my install dates 3 times, so not a very good experience up to press , i just hope the install goes successful . If i knew this i would not have used RAC shop

high quality products at a competitive price. The ordering process was simple, and my order arrived within the estimated delivery window.

This is the second time I’ve used the RAC shop and the second time they haven’t delivered. This time I bought and paid for a dash cam with fitting. I booked the appointment for a time that suited me only to be contacted after paying to say actually it isn’t available and I will have to wait another 3 weeks. This is totally unacceptable when you have to go through a booking system which obviously is a failure. Don’t be fooled into thinking you’ll get your item or the service when you think you will. I’m still waiting……

Didn’t end Up needing the mats so ended up cancelling but customer service was prompt and friendly

Always use RAC Shop for Dash Cam fitting. Always deliver on time and professionally fit my product
