Awful

Ordered the bike in August 2021, arrived Christmas Eve, a part wasn't fitting correctly and a new part was sent out. This took until May. The then told me when I'd been checking and complaining for weeks that I could have just bought one (I wasn't told and didn't know because the wheels are not standard sizes). Finally get the bike up and running in June.

Ride fine for a couple of months, October get the safety notice about the tyres. Stopped riding. Its now FEBRUARY and the tyres are now being sent.

I have no 'trusted mechanics' close, so I have to pick one and they'll reimburse up to £60. Several other parts of the bike have worn, rusted or warped in the very short time I've had it.

So out of the 19 or so months since purchase I've had around 4 months of use and have had no transport around this.

They have no complaints department, the customer service is good and friendly but realistically they cannot do anything.

They did refund my delivery charge as a 'sorry' but they'd actually charged me double to start with! Disappointed and a complete waste of money.

When this happened, we immediately started looking for new, safe tires. And after much research and testing, we found the new tires. These will be sent to you free of charge. You can also submit the invoice to us for assembly. These costs are roughly around £50. You mention £60. Please send this to us with the proof of payment.

I fully understand that all of this is frustrating. And I am sincerely sorry for that. You can always contact us if you want to discuss this further. And please send the invoice to eu-info@radpowerbikes.com

Super service de l'équipe support depuis 2018

Super service de toute l'équipe support depuis 2018. Je n'ai jamais été déçue. Disponibilité et efficacité au top. Accessibles pour la moindre question spécifique, je ne peux que féliciter et remercier Ralph, Teun, Sander, Carlos, Serena et leurs collègues pour chaque service rendu (envoi de pièces, conseils, ,etc.). Nous avons toujours trouvé des solutions avec eux et c'est aussi cela qui nous fait aimer le Radwagon.

Fat bike velotaf

Je cherchais un fat bike qui soit assez imposant.
Après des nombreuses recherches je me suis tourné vers le radrhino 6+ ,il cochait toutes mes cases et j’ai pu bénéficier d’une grosse remise avec le black friday .
Mon expérience est assez complète car le vélo étant arrivé en panne j’ai pu tester le service après vente de rad eu qui est très à l’écoute de ses clients et qui m.a entièrement donner satisfaction.(merci Énora)
Maintenant mon radrhino fonctionne nickel et je fais toutes sortes de trajets avec boulots courses marchée et quelques balades.(pour moi il manque un peu de couple dans les bosses à part ça rien à dire)
La seule chose que je recommande c’est d’aller voir un professionnel pour le réglage final du vélo.
Personnellement j’ai fait un seul changement sur le vélo en remplaçant le pneu arrière.

Best service i've ever had!

the radwagon 4 was unfortunately no longer in stock due to a production error. unfortunately this took more than half a year. luckily a garage sale was organized where a few refurbished rad wagons were sold. unfortunately it was sold before it was my turn. i contacted customer service. and was answered very quickly by Alex (andra)! she told me that a radwagon was recently returned and that the bicycle was completely repaired and inspected. if I wanted to buy this bike. I was super happy! they even put the accessories I wanted on it. and also helped me with the placement of the child's bicycle seat.

SUPER SERVICE!!! thanks Alex for answering my mail quickly and thinking along!!!!

Panier de vélo inadapté, qu'ils n'ont pas voulu reprendre

J'ai commandé un panier de vélo, selon leur site "compatible avec tous les modèles après 2019". Mon vélo a été volé entre ma commande et l'arrivée du panier. Puis la police a retrouvé mon vélo et j'ai donc immédiatement essayé mon panier, pour constater qu'il ne s'adaptait pas... J'ai eu beau envoyer la déclaration faite à la police, Rad power bikes n'a pas voulu reprendre le panier car le délai de retour était dépassé... Pas très commerçant ! Je n'achèterai plus chez ce commerçant.

En tant qu'entreprise, nous avons un délai de retour de 2 semaines. Ceci est également décrit sur notre site. Votre achat est plus de trois mois.

Wij hebben een radwagon 4

Wij hebben een radwagon 4. Deze werd teruggeroepen door een fout in de band. Intussen wachten we al sinds november op onderdelen en kunnen we de fiets niet gebruiken. (de fietsenmakers in de buurt kunnen geen banden vinden owv een niet standaard maat). Wij raden radwagon af!!!

Very poor customer support

After going back and forth between a 'bakfiets' and a longtail bike, we decided, after some testriding and research, to go for the Radbike Radwagon. We bought the bike last spring and where very happy and pleased with it. But after a couple months problems with the battery occured. Since then we are trying to get help. Response from the customer support is very slow, it takes weeks. And so far it has been very unhelpfull. There is still no solution. And we are unable to use our new bike for months. The closest repair shop is 50 km from us. And it is very difficult for us to get the bike there. I was so happy with this bike. But now I regret not buying a bike from a local store....

Radcity 5 plus 👎🏼!

Bought A radcity 5 plus in December.
First the battery did not work.
Then front tire couldnt keep air inside.
After waiting more them a month made the first ride. Bike made all kind of weird noises. Went to kwikfit overtoom official rad power bike mechanic, they said the bike had all kind of issues and will cost me money to fix it. Very surpised beacuse it was our first ride. Contacted support about it, they were not helpfull and said they can do nothing about that.

Betaalbare exclusiviteit waarmee je zeker gezien mag en zal worden!

Radcity 5 Plus. Niet al te ingewikkelde, betaalbare moderne, vlotte fiets. Gemakkelijk aan onderdelen te komen via de website. comfortabele banden. Moet zeker 5 jaar mee kunnen bij dagelijks gebruik en jaarlijkse beurtje door eigenaar of bij een fietsenmaker!
Kan het zeker ieder aanraden, 4 van de 5 sterren!

Radrhino versie moet men een liefhebber zijn denk ik. Vind het zelf zeer onhandig voor dagelijks gebruik. waarschijnlijk ideaal voor recreatie! Dan zou ik gaan voor een met een sterke Amerikaanse motor!

Rad, nice bike, great service!

I bought the RadRhino 5. And I've been riding it for 1.5 years now. No regrets. What a nice bike, lots of power and a RAD offers super good support. Unfortunately my display broke so the bike didn't want to turn on anymore. Through the intervention of the support team, I had the bicycle repaired at a local service provider. Replacing the display was covered under warranty. Buy a RAD, you won't regret it. RideRad!

Radcity 5+ step thru is een zeer goede fiets voor een degelijke prijs

Ik kocht een dikke maand geleden de Radcity 5+ step thru. Ondertussen een 200tal km op de teller en de fiets rijdt zeer aangenaam. De batterij gaat ook mee voor een 75tal km alvorens opladen nodig is. Ook zeer goed geholpen door de radpower bikes helpdesk om mijn achterlicht werkend te krijgen. Ik ben zeer tevreden met mijn aankoop.

IMagically have just received my first electric…

I have just received my first Rad Power electric bike. I hadn't ridden for 30 years so went and had a test ride. I think this bike is magical. I so enjoy riding the bike. I am in my 70's and this is getting me out in the fresh air and keeping me moving. My husband put it together for me with only a few grumbles. The customer service have always responded within 48 hours and quite often within 24. For the money, I would really recommended this company and these bikes.

I enjoy my Rad Rhino6Plus a lot

I enjoy my Rad Rhino6Plus a lot. Picked it up myself in Utrecht June 2022 and we additionally purchased Dec 2022 Rad City 5 Plus. Bikes are just fun !! I had accidentally shortened my battery pack and even it does not fall under their warranty, it was replaced by RADPOWERBIKES at no charge and within a week. Super job and thanks to the Support team in Utrecht/NL. Buying over the Internet and thus saving money is great, but it all depends how good is the support platform. black friday deal Rad rhino

Eerst black friday deal Rad rhino 6 plus gekocht, 3 dagen later voor mijn partner het step thru model gekocht. Ik reed sinds 2019 op de rad rhino 5 en was daar ook zeer tevreden over . Maar deze twee fietsen echt geweldig. 24 en 27 november besteld en 6 december al in huis .Top fietsen we zijn er erg blij mee

Slechte service, 4 weken zonder fiets

Eerst wilde de batterij niet meer opladen binnen een maand na aankoop. Na uiteindelijk iemand aan de telefoon te krijgen mag je zelf aan de slag een zekering te vervangen. Niet helemaal een wenselijk antwoord maar goed, toch maar geprobeerd. Uiteindelijk door servicepunt gefixt. 2 weken later, batterij valt uit na iedere paar meter fietsen, steeds opnieuw opstarten. Weer contact proberen op te nemen, erg moeizaam. In gesprek gesproken over garantie. Die blijk ik bij online aankoop opeens minder te hebben! Erg apart!
Ondertussen rook uit oplader!! Afgesproken wordt dat Radpower contact opneemt met servicepunt Kwik fit om de problemen voor te leggen en ik maak de afspraak om fiets af te leveren.
4 weken later blijkt dat ik de afspraak ben nagekomen maar zij niet. Fiets staat daar nog zonder dat er contact is geweest met Rad Power!

Beste Marco, Het spijt ons te horen over de ervaringen die u heeft met uw fiets en accu. Onze technici zijn opgeleid en bekwaam om samen met u het probleem op te lossen. Aangezien uw situatie voortduurt, stellen we uw feedback en geduld met ons op prijs terwijl we u helpen weer aan een werkende fiets te komen. Gutes Fahrrad, große Probleme beim Kundenservice

(Update auf 3 Sterne mit Begründung siehe am Ende der Bewertung)
Vorweg, ich habe bereits seid dem Herbst ein Radrunner+ mit dem ich bisher zufrieden bin und wollte ein weiteres Rad bestellen. Die Erfahrung mit dem Produkt ist gut, das Geschäftsgebaren und der Service von Rad ist jedoch so unterirdisch, dass ich nur einen Stern vergeben kann. Bereits bei der ersten Bestellung gab es Probleme, die ich hier nicht schildern will, weil es dann zu lang wird. Zum aktuellen Problem: Mitte Dezember bekomme ich mehrere Werbe-Emails von Rad. Das Radrhino6+ sei im Moment für 800€ weniger zu haben als sonst. Dieser Preis sei gültig bis 3 Januar, dann würden sich die Preise ändern. Das überzeugt mich. Ich bestelle aber nicht gleich, da ich aus meiner ersten Bestellung die Erfahrung gemacht habe das Rad null Flexibilität bei der Lieferung kennt. Bestellt man kommt es in zwei Wochen. Andere Wünsche, die jeder deutsche Fahrradhändler ohne Probleme berücksichtigen würde sind vom Rad Kundenservice aufgrund nicht umsetzbar... Da ich zwischen Weihnachten und Silvester nicht Zuhause bin, warte ich aufgrund dieser Erfahrung mit der Bestellung damit das Rad nicht vor der Tür steht. Bis zum 3ten Januar ist ja Zeit. Als ich gestern bestellen will sind alle Preise auf einmal auf normal (800€ mehr) und der Link in der E-Mail geht nicht mehr. Merkwürdig, denn auf Facebook werden mir sowohl am 29ten als auch am 30ten insgesamt 3 Werbeanzeigen angezeigt, die alle behaupten das Rad ist jetzt 800€ günstiger zu haben, allerdings gehen auch hier die Links nicht. Also Anruf bei Rad. Eine Dame, die offenbar sehr unzufrieden mit ihr Job ist und es als Belästigung empfindet mit Kunden sprechen zu müssen erklärt patzig der Preisnachlass sei nur bis zum 23ten Dezember gültig gewesen. Dass nichts davon in der E-Mail stand sondern der 03 Januar und das die Facebook Anzeigen vom selben Tag das selbe sagen wovon ich Screenshots habe interessiert sie nicht. Sie lässt einen kaum ausreden. Ihren Namen möchte sie auch nicht nennen. Sie sei eh nicht mehr da, wenn man noch eine Email mit den Beweisen schicken würde (!!!). Auf die E-Mail das selbe: Preise seien nur bis zum 23ten Dezember gültig. Email und Facebook, die beide etwas anderes sagen, letzteres am selben Tag? Egal! Interessiert nicht! Ich Frage mich ob Rad mehr unseriös oder inkompetent ist. Beides ist schlimm. Die Produkte scheinen für den Preis völlig okay und teils echt innovativ zu sein, also gibt es bei Rad gute Leute. Der Internationale Kundenservice, die Werbung und die Abläufe beim Verkauf hingegen: eine absolute Katastrophe! So kann man in Europa keine Fahrräder verkaufen!
UPDATE: Nachdem ich den Mail-Kundenservice, der immer nur die gleichen Floskeln wiederholte direkt aufgefordert habe, sich doch Mal an jemandem im Unternehmen zu wenden, der Entscheidungen treffen kann und die Tragweite erkennt, bekomme ich 2 Minuten später eine Email von der deutschen Marketingleiterin und direkt danach einen Anruf. Sie ist sehr bemüht, überaus freundlich, räumt ein, dass man noch Probleme beim Aufbau des Service in Europa habe, aber versuche das mit Hochdruck zu verbessern. Natürlich bekomme ich das Rad zu dem Preis wie in der Mail, das sei ja ihr Fehler gewesen und die falschen Facebook adds seien sofort storniert worden, als sie davon gehört habe. Jemand habe da schlicht den falschen Text stehen gelassen.
Von jetzt an scheint alles gut zu klappen. Ich konnte direkt bestellen zum rabattierten Preis. Wenn das Rad jetzt pünktlich kommt und es ansonsten so solide und gut ist wie mein Radrunner+, dann ist alles okay. Ich hoffe sehr, Rad EU bekommt die Probleme mit dem Service schnell in den Griff. Ich erhöhe meine Bewertung zunächst auf 3 Sterne. Wenn das Rad prima ist, dann werden es 4. Ohne die Initialen Probleme mit dem Kundenservice wären auch 5 drin gewesen. Denn der letzte Kontakt war echt prima.

Dear Kai, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I would like to apologise for the frustrations you have been experiencing.

Indeed we had a December promotion running until December 23rd with a big discount on some of our bikes. This promotion was limited in time and supplies, which has been shared in email and on the website.

At the same time we aimed to give our customers a 2+ week notice of an upcoming price increase as of January 3rd 2023. The two messages overlapped, and I can totally understand how this might have been confusing.

Since the promotion expired by the time you reached out to us, we could no longer offer the bike in question at the previous discounts since those expired December 23rd and all bikes have returned to their 2022 regular price point. I am truly sorry.

I have taken your feedback and shared it with our marketing department to make sure in the future we only have one customer update communicated to avoid any confusion and frustrations.

Again, I am truly sorry that you have had this experience.

I bought a rad bike for myself a couple of months ago, and was so happy about it that i wanted to gift my wife one as well for christmas. I got the following mail from Rad bikes on the 12th of december:
"Hey Christian,

Our mission at Rad Power Bikes is to offer customers an unrivaled biking experience with ebikes built for everything and priced for everyone.

With that in mind, Rad Power Bikes will continue to design, manufacture and distribute quality ebikes at the best prices possible. However, as you’ve probably seen in the news, several factors, such as inflation and a devaluation of the Euro against the US Dollar is forcing us to increase our prices. While we’ve taken creative steps to reduce the impact of this global challenge, we have now arrived at a place where it has become more expensive to get our Rad bikes and accessories to you.

These new prices will enable us to continue our commitment to deliver high quality and innovative products.

You’ll see these changes take place on the 3rd of January 2023 at 9 am CET. Our current prices will be active until then.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to purchase your Rad Ride before the price increase and ride into 2023 in style.

I was a bit suprised to say the least when i went on their website on the 26th to see that the price of the bike she wanted had went up from 1199 to 1899 euro, so i sent them an e-mail referring to the above e-mail i received from them.

The response i got was that this was another promotion, that had ended on the 23'rd of december, and was there for no longer available.

This was stated nowhere in the e-mail, as you can see above it actually specifically said twice that the these prices would be there until the 3rd of january.

1: This is straight up illegal, there is no way you can just jump from an offer like this when it's written to the customer, and is in good faith.

2: Tbh i don't understand it, if you are willing to sell at bike at the above price for more than a month, and a customer can refer to a promotion you sent out yourself that specifically said otherwise, why on earth would you screw up the relation? Especially when it's a returning customer. Jesus, you go from having somebody who is advocating for your product to a 1 star review.

3: I really hope that my current bike will not face troubles if this is the level of customer service.

I don't think i have ever tried buying from a place with such a bad alignment of brand, product quality and customer service.

Hi Christian, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I would like to apologise for the frustrations you have been experiencing.

Indeed we had a December promotion running until December 23rd with a big discount on some of our bikes. This promotion was limited in time and supplies, which has been shared in email and on the website.

At the same time we aimed to give our customers a 2+ week notice of an upcoming price increase as of January 3rd 2023. The two messages overlapped, and I can totally understand how this might have been confusing.

Since the promotion expired by the time you reached out to us, we could no longer offer the bike in question at the previous discounts since those expired December 23rd and all bikes have returned to their 2022 regular price point. I am truly sorry.

I have taken your feedback and shared it with our marketing department to make sure in the future we only have one customer update communicated to avoid any confusion and frustrations.

Again, I am truly sorry that you have had this experience.
