Eerst en vooral is het de fiets zelf ,het is een groot plezier om er mee te rijden.
Ook vervoer ik eens iets en hij kan kwestie van vracht in gewicht wel veel aan (Radrunner 2).
De service die ik ontvangen heb (in Nederland) was goed ik ben tevreden met mijn aankoop.

I had an issue with my batterie, so I went to the service hub. I was there around 8:45 am and waited until open time @ 9:00. I was greeted and offered coffee. Met Derek, the one and only, who fixed my issue while providing explanation and giving solid advice. He built his own ebike from scratch, which makes him part of an elite bunch of renaissance bike-men, who have a craft and know their job inside-out! Mega

RAD levert E-Bikes van zeer hoge kwaliteit en voor gemiddeld gunstiger prijzen dan vergelijkbare Bikes. Vooral de batterij prestaties en de levensduur zijn opvallend. De fietsen zijn duurzaam. de support is geweldig en met enige handigeid zijn alle onderdelen zelf af te stellen.Bovendien zijn er veel extra's toe te voegen, waardoor de fiets veel completer wordt.

Leider ist die Qualität der Räder sehr schlecht. Ich hatte mich gefreut und die ersten 2 Monate haben auch Spaß gemacht mit dem Fahrrad. Ich wusste, dass man für diesen Preis keine hohe Qualität erwarten kann aber dann fing es an, fast überall setzte sich Rost fest, obwohl das Rad immer im Trockenen steht und ich es pflege wie alle meine Fahrräder, die noch nie gerostet sind. Die Kette war vollkommen verrostet und auch der Rahmen an vielen Stellen. Das Lichtkabel brach, da es leider viel zu dünn ist und der Witterung nicht stand gehalten hat. Die Bremsen sind lebensgefährlich, anfangs noch OK, aber später eine Katastrophe. Auch eine Fahrradwerkstatt konnte sie nicht einstellen.
Noch schlechter allerdings war der Service, hier wurde ich als Lügner beschimpft und mir wurde geraten, die Ersatzteile im Shop neu zu kaufen.

Ich habe ein Rad Expand 5 seit Juli 2022 ich bin sehr zufrieden, ausser das das Front und Rücklicht nicht zugelassen sind in Deutschland (K Nummer auf den Lampen fehlt).

Do not count on them for spare parts og something gira wrong with your bike, it’s not their problem that your bike bought from them does not work anymore. It’s your problem.

This company has left me and many many others unable to use their bikes whilst waiting for 'safe tyres' .
When after 9 months they get around to sending the tyres out you are told on website to take to Wembley London . When saying that's ridiculous you are then told to find a repairer yourself (they refuse to get involved) and then send them the receipt for no more than £50 plus VAT to get it sorted
Unhelpful company and needs avoiding

An sich ein cooles Bike, das Lust auf die Welt der E-Bikes macht. Das hätte eine Probefahrt von irgendeinen E-Bile beim Fachhändler allerdings auch geschafft.

Das Bike ist extrem billig verarbeitet. Wir haben es seit 3 Monaten im Einsatz, wenn es nicht benutzt wird, steht es ausschließlich in der Garage, hat aber schon jede Menge Rost an den Pedalen und am Ständer angesetzt.

Gerade wollte ich Schutzbleche montieren (die sind nicht dabei, es können aber welche aus billigstem Kunststoff teuer dazubestellt werden). Dabei hat sich herausgestellt das von den 3 dafür vorgesehenen Schrauben schon eine festgerostet ist. Die ist natürlich ausgerissen bevor sie sich gelöst hat. Wird jetzt Super aussehen mit einem, mit Kabelbindern montierten Schutzblech.

Kontakt mit dem Service hatte ich auch schon. Hat auch nur 3-4 Wochen gedauert bis eine simple Frage (welchen Durchmesser hat die Achse) beantwortet wurde.

Fazit: Ich werde nicht mehr bei diesem Hersteller kaufen. Bin gespannt wie lange das Bike hält, rechne aber nicht damit wirklich lange Spaß damit zu haben.

Obwohl ich das Bike 30% reduziert gekauft habe, fühlt es sich nach Abzocke an.

I ordered a Rad Expand after careful consideration. The bike arrived very quickly. I assembled it and soon came to the conclusion that it wasn’t the right bike for me. I decided to return the bike. It was all handled well and I got a full refund. So even though it wasn’t the right bike for me personally, I would recommend Rad as a trustworthy company.

DO NOT buy bikes in Rad Power!! After a few months of having my new bike I got an email saying I should not use it anymore because they noticed the wheels were EXPLODING! (Already the second problem I had with this bike). After several MONTHS of waiting, they sent a repair kit to fix it. This is only for free if I bring it to a partner service center from them, which there are only two in the whole country! If not, they may not refund all the costs. Incredible, several months of not being able to use the bike, no effort from them to solve this problem and no compensation whatsoever!! Hugely disappointed with this company, never buying there again.
