With the Railboard iPhone or iPad app, you can save lots of money by finding super-cheap split train tickets. Plus, you have easy access to live train times powered by National Rail Enquiries.
With Split Tickets, our clever algorithms find combinations of tickets that together offer the same journey but at a lower price than a regular ticket.
This is done by splitting regular train tickets at calling points along the journey. So instead of one ticket from A to C, you have two tickets from A to B and B to C. Railboard excellent
Railboard excellent! However I missed my train due to London Underground strike . So annoying watching the train leave when I was in a taxi in gridlocked London , I got to Euston the same time the train left! Purchased another train ticket and watched my train pull in 2 hours before me!
I have the journey home though today!

Simple and highly accessible if you are Disabled
I started to use the app because I had a terrible experience as a blind person with an alternative Rail booking app. I found this one to be extremely user-friendly, intuitive and straightforward. There are a couple of accessibility niggles, one or two very small issues on calendars but buying large it’s a dream to use and offers just as good ticket pricing as their competitors. I would highly recommend. .

Excellent customer support
The application is easy to use and Railboard saved money by finding us split tickets from London to Manchester. When we got on the train, our reservations weren’t for the whole leg and weren’t next to each other which was disappointing. I emailed Railboard not expecting a response and within ten minutes someone had emailed me back, apologised for the mix-up and changed our reservation for the journey home. Absolutely top class customer service. Thank you, Railboard.

Love the split tickets savings I make!
Railboard is such a great app with clear screens and really easy to use. A really wonderful feature is how it uses split tickets which can make big savings - I just saved £8 on a one hour journey. You get multiple tickets but all you need to are the first and last in the journey to get and out of the barriers. It's so easy and such a saving! I always get e-tickets when available (almost always) which makes it even more simple.
