Raleys App is Crap

The digital coupon app is horrific. It is false advertising and it is fraud. Raleys has my phone number, that is all they need I should get the discounts automatically.
Instead I have to wade through screen after screen in several different categories (for which there is no logical reason except intentional hoop jumping) - only to be unable to find the digital coupon for the items. then the app just locks up. This is bey design. The phony specials are a come-on.

The policy you have for controlled…

The policy you have for controlled substances seems to only hurt the people who don't abuse. The fact that my doc and insurance are ok with me getting my meds 2 days early so I do not miss on my dose for the day beacuse I cannot get to you exactly on that day so i now miss a dose and dont have my meds. People like me or people that can't walk right and have issues, mental issues, suffer not you or the abusers us, do you understand what problems you cause us? You think 2 days is going to do anything for the abuser? No only hurts the people who don't abuse thats it, the people who abuse will get there drugs with out you. You are a legal drug dealer and act like one as what ever is best for you who cares about the people who really need there meds?
2 days if it was 15days early I would understand but we have enough complications as is we don't need more with this kinda of disrespect. Think of my wife she was 30 can have kids anymore 28 surgerys then we have to deal with this, or think of everyday not stop he'll in your head then u go and get your meds beacuse you finally can go out side then nope sorry 30 day policy, then u miss the pickup date beacuse you can't get there you know life now you are down multiple days of just trying to be ok with life.

Have been loyal customer for 30 years
Went today to ship after being gone for 4 months at vacation home In Montana. Unbelievable. Just nothing else to say. Prices are so high. Bought a plant for a friend who lost her husband. Asked for foil wrap. No wouldn't do. Asked for a Bow. 5$. You pay higher prices for services. This store is awful I'm no longer going there. Take your high prices and watch you lose customers. Manager is a miserable person. Looks mad all the time. Old manager was so nice. He mingled with customers. This lady just frowns. And is also a mean person
Come on Raleys you need to step up. I spent my last 525 on last shopping trip to your store. Prices are unreasonable.

Haters gonna hate

OK, Raley’s’s is getting some hate on here and it seems to be related to Pharmacy issues - my positive experiences are through the pick up (done through website) and the amazing experiences I’ve had in the store. The workers here seem happy, they’ve always been so friendly and kind…. Not once have I had a bad experience here.

Joining the rewards program is really great because they give you personalized offers. The savings are really great, and you also get bucks to spend! Love this place and equal love to Bel-Air!

store 321 operator 699649 was unprofessional. After I had waited in line for 10 minutes she seem to be annoyed that I got to the register. The butcher counter had a sign which said I'll be in ten minutes (I didn't wait) also there were several Items not in stock.

i have shopped at Raleys for years but…

i have shopped at Raleys for years but today while buying some specials, I was told I have to do the specials digitally. I am a senior and have tried and tried to do this but I can't get the app to work on my Cell Phone. Too BAD for me - they wouldn't give me the digital price. I had to give everything up! Thanks Raleys for scamming the seniors especially when it is known you are so expensive anyway. This disgusts me and others. This is when I hope Raley's fails for greediness.

BEWARE of Fine print!
I Placed an order online on 11-24-22 for pickup 11-25-22. The order pickup was great and the young lady loading my order was very friendly. I gave her a great review. Then….the following happened
The total cost of the items I selected was $139.07 (before taxes and pick-up fee). After unpacking my groceries I looked over the receipt and realized I was charged $191.63. Believing this was an honest mistake, I called the Raleys store I purchased from on Woodcreek Oaks Blvd., Roseville and was told I should have read the fine print they have for their online shopping (basically: the sales prices you’re shown on the online order may change).
This was a painful lesson that I feel is important to share with others shopping Raleys online…like I was told by the people working for Raley’s “READ THE FINE PRINT”

Not the old Raley’s

It the old Raley’s. Stocking all day and the formerly sparkling floors are scuffed and dirty. Produce is lesser in quality and many items out of stock. Out of stock items in all departments.

O-N-E Format is the nail in the coffin

We've been shopping at this store (on Wedge Parkway, Reno, NV) since they opened up. They were our favorite place to get groceries when they first opened. We'd shop weekly. Then they remodeled it and gave it a warehouse look/feel. It became darker, less inviting, and felt like the energy was sucked out of it. But, we didn't mind. They still carried everything we needed in terms of groceries. So, we sort of accepted it, but started going to Whole Foods more often for the organics, since Raley's selection of organic vegetables/fruits still pales in comparison to them.
Then they decided to go to a O-N-E format, where they sort of turned into a Whole Foods wannabe. If we want to shop at Whole Foods, we'll go to Whole Foods. Now, when we want to shop at a Grocery Store, we go to Safeway. It's not much farther, and still has all the stuff we want from a Grocery Store. Haven't been to Raley's now for several months.
Sorry Raley's, but you've completely lost your competitive advantage.
You seem to be trying to go for a "We are a grocery store, but we're also a Whole Foods replacement option"...but in the end, you're neither.
Hope you figure this out soon and figure out how to be one or the other in spades.

Railey's in Vacaville

I went to Railey's in Vacaville. I don't normally shop there but I wanted something from the bakery. There were 3 employees clustered at the far end of the counter away from me. None of them looked up or responded to me waiting. 5 mins. went by, someone said I'll there in a minute. Meanwhile another customer came up and an employee went right over to her, ignoring me and helped her. I was so mad. Finally I got helped, went to pay and the express woman was snotty. I needed help and she acted like I was bothering her. I will not shop there again. What lousy customer service.

Lackluster

I am writing this review regarding my experiences with the Raley's on Wedge Parkway in Reno, Nevada.

What. A. Joke.

Before I launch, let me state that the Raleys on Caughlin Parkway and the one on Mira Loma are obviously run by more proficient managers. I have never had an issue in either of those stores. Only the one on Wedge. Let's go.

First of all, why they are ALWAYS understaffed, is a mystery to me. This store is in a very popular area of town; the anchor store in a busy strip mall. Busy store with 2 check stands open, other than the self-check. Lines everywhere and no baggers. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to bag my own groceries. It's not a big deal, per se, but when you're being charged over $4 for a gallon of milk, you shouldn't have to work there, too, ya know.

The last few times I've tried to negotiate the produce department, their employees wouldn't move out of the way, so that I could grab what I wanted. I really don't want to have to ask them to move, so I lingered around for a while waiting for them to finish, but they didn't. This happened another time in the cereal aisle, and the clerk looked totally annoyed when I excused myself to reach over her to grab a box. She didn't acknowledge my speaking to her, nor did she move out of the way.

Once I stood at the fish counter for a solid 5 minutes while I watched the clerk talk on the phone. I could also hear him-it was a personal call. He never motioned to me that he would be with me in a minute, nothing. I walked away and went to another store to buy my fish.
Almost every box or can on the shelf is sliced from a box-cutter, mangled, or dented. If I wanted trashed food, I'd go to the Dollar Store.
The pharmacy closing in the middle of the day is ridiculous. The website says they're open from 10a-7:30p; closing for lunch between 1:30 and 2....or so they say. I have tried to get a prescription filled during my lunch hour at noon, and they were closed. I emailed Raleys and received some BS form letter about how I'm very important to them and blah blah blah. That was 3 months ago, but my Mom went in today at 1:15pm and they were closed, with about 4 people sitting around waiting. So, obviously, they don't care. (This has happened more than once, and well before Covid happened.) I am all for everyone getting a lunch, but a pharmacy is a pretty essential thing to have open, so closing for any length of time during the day is outrageous to me. I remember one time I went there straight from urgent care, feeling terribly. Got there at 12:15 and they were already closed. I had to go home, wait for a while, and then get myself all powered up to drive all the way back there, simply because either Raley's corporate or that particular manager, refuses to provide adequate customer service. And for the prices they charge, that is a shame.

As far as the actual Pharmacists and techs go, they're awesome. Nice, competent, and I haven't had the multitude of issues that I had with CVS.

I know the parking lot isn't Raley's doing, but it's an utter nightmare most of the time, also. So, even before you get into the store, you've already been tested. Just avoid this location altogether and save some sanity.

My local Raley's is beautiful

My local Raley's is beautiful. The deli counter offerings are great. Lots of choices throughout the store. I just wish the prices were lower. I seldom shop there for my big purchases or weekly stock up shopping. Mostly I'll just hit there for an item or two on the way home or if there is something on sale. Sad because it's the closest store to me.

Bad customer service!

I am writing this review with permission from the corporate office customer service representative. I called them to complain about the overcharge on the cake. I got charges 26.99 on 14.99 cake. I believe the person in the bakery section made mistake when she created the ticket for me. I didn't wanted to drive back there to get my refund, but I wanted them to be more careful next time. But, without an apology, she told me to post it on google if I want to. and then she hung up on me. Raley’s used to be great.

When it comes to raley's

When it comes to raley's, this place is getting worst then bad and dropping. When I walk in one of these places I can tell that management uses their co-workers as stress relief balls. Having one bagger to bag for 3 to 5 cashiers all alone which takes 10 minutes or more to get your turn, I rather spend the day at the DMV at least their lines move faster, the bathrooms are always dirty like the rest of the store and out of everything. The parking lot has carts all over the place and it fells like that management is just dumping their duties on to others who have no training on anything but bagging. I feel such pity for them cause management sets them up for failure, cutting their hours, and treating them like trash. I give them negative 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 don't try to work there unless you want to be a bone being chew on by a dog.
