I had a great experience speaking with Nathi today, he was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly. His knowledge and professionalism made the conversation smooth and enjoyable. I appreciated how patient he was and how he took the time to ensure I understood everything. Overall, it was a positive interaction, and I feel much more confident moving forward. Following my review on 17th March and Rebels response to it stating “they were concerned and wanted to get things sorted” guess what’s happened?
NOTHING!!! They’ve done nothing!!! They’re full of empty platitudes. Respond in a fake caring manner so anyone reading reviews before switching might think their customer service is good.
I had a request for additional information, I.e account number, which is in the subject line of that review, along with the complaint reference number 🙄
I now look forward to the response to this one.
I’m resigned to the fact that this is all going to OFGEM

The customer Service was excellent polite and very helpful. Keeping me up to date of what is happening. Until I received the appointment for the engineer to fixed the gas meter.

Nathi was so wonderful to me. I was really pleased to talk to him. He is the first one who I got really nice in Rebel Energy. I didn't get rid of my problem but I am hoping that Nathi would do something better for me. Thanks a lot, Nathi, you are so kind.

Terrible service overall, what a nightmare.
They did not close my account correctly, despite me sending over exactly what was asked of me. This was two years ago. Instead of contacting me, they went to a debt collector to try and get £5K plus from me, for unpaid bills. Despite not living there for two years.
I managed to sort this, but no apology from either the debt collector or Rebel. So I contacted them to highlight this terrible service, and to ensure my account was closed for good. They've now closed the account, and said I have to pay £110 (66p per KWH is insane btw when I've been paying 25p per KWH since I moved out and switched), but no actual empathetic or genuine apology for the two months making me sick with stress about potentially having to pay £5000.

Siziphiwe was very helpful on the call in explaining my contract and providing useful information I didn't know for instance, she advised on how I can take the meter readings when my contract starts without me asking. My experience today was good, the reviews on here make me a bit worried but I hope everything goes well through out the contract.

I had a call today from Janine @ Rebel, I've been trying to sort out an issue with them for a couple weeks now and everyone was just sending me somewhere else.
She called to ask about my account balance and after we sorted that she was so helpful with my other issue I have been having!

My gas meter has been broken since December 2024. It is now March 2025 and after numerous calls and emails, I am still waiting for an appointment for someone to come and look at it. This is seriously the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I will never use this company again.
