I have traded buying cars from Reclamet in Birchington for several months, purchased 3 cars with their manage Andy.
Andy left and I dealt with Ollie and in the office Sasha
1st Nov bought 2007 mini for 1000 pounds they were paid 200 deposit
2 nd Nov I travelled 3 hours to collect my mini but before I could leave with the mini Sash told me the paperwork was not back from DVLA so she would arrange delivery of the car to me.
3 rd Nov I purchased a Mazda 2005 for 600 pounds and they promised to deliver both card to me the following week.All of this confirmed in writing
4 th Nov I received a text from them telling me the mini engine had blown up and they sold my Mazda.
During our dealings after they let me down they promised to sell me a Nissan Micra for 2500 if I collected. When I tried to book collection they never replied and the Nissan they put in their auction
They can not be trusted and do not complete contractual purchases

friendly to talk too and very helpfull with paper work and my car was picked up within the hour and a good price would recomend to anybody

I found this company the best price given for scrapping our car very helpful and kept there word and any questions answered I would highly recommend them

Top tier customer service start to finish. Sian booked me in with 2 days notice and was all done by midday on collection day. I wasn’t able to be home but the guys at reclamet made it so simple, the money was in my account the same evening as well! The quote price was slightly lower than other firms but the time they saved me in sorting it out was definitely worth sacrificing a few quid. I would 100% recommend using.

Sian and George were both very professional, everything they arranged was perfect. The driver, Nathan, who picked up the car was very good, making a difficult time, easier. Top marks to Reclamet Limited for employing such good staff. I would certainly recommend this company.

Phoned around and wasn't happy with the response from other scrapyards.
Recalmet were unlike the rest completely transparent asking the right questions and giving honest advice, totally put my mind at ease.
Arrangements were made and everything went to plan very smoothly.
All the team were absolutely amazing from booking in with the very lovely girls on the phones to the pick up driver thankyou to you all .

I rarely leave reviews but these guys deserve it.
I filled out an online form and received a call from Sian who was professional, friendly and polite, she gave me a decent offer to scrap my car to which I advised I wanted to look around a bit more, her attitude did not change and she remained very courteous and helpful. The next day I received a call from George who also was all of the above which made my choose to go with them. The following day it was arranged for my vehicle to be collected and I received a hours courtesy call from Nathan who picked up the car and was just as friendly and helpful. The same evening i received the agreed payment. I would definitely recommend this company from my experience as everyone I dealt with was a credit to the company

Everything was made so easy for me - Sian was so helpful guiding me through the TfL scrappage process and even cancelled my direct debit on my old car for me! She is super efficient - I would employ her any day of the week!

The pick-up was effortless, Charles (the tow truck driver) also very accommodating and helpful.

She offered me a better price for my car, Reclamet did what they said.

The driver arrived in good time on 08/11/23. He is also friendly, courteous and professional and I got paid on the same day.

Brilliant company. car was picked up when arranged. Weather was dreadful, paperwork was done quickly. When asked about payment he said it would be put into account in afternoon but was not in till the following day.
Maybe this should be explained, but no reason not to use this company. would recommend.

Sian and the team were excellent in getting the collection of my car sorted. Came within the time the driver gave. No complaints for service.

They collected my car during the storm so hats off to the team!

Only thing to mention as an improvement would be that I was told before the driver left that the money would be in my account by 12 noon (car collected just after 8am) but it didn’t arrive until the following day. I think if you allow 24 hours it will mean people won’t be worrying and checking their online banking after being given a timeline. - this is only a suggestion, not a reason to not recommend them.

I would recommend Reclamet to my friends and family in the future should we need it.
