Amazing fresh coffee

Incredible coffee, I’ve explored a few blends and single origins now and all taste amazing brewed in my cafetière. Arrives on time and easy to order.

Just a really really awful company

Just a really really awful company. Customer service is absolutely awful.
The organisation was absolutely awful. They left me without a coffee machine on the launch of Coffee shop after promising a world. They are claiming it is all another companies fault and playing the blame game saying they "arent Privvy to any conversations with 3rd parties" (The company that they called and gave my number too to deal with) without actually taking any responsibility themselves and then have continued to argue and just be horrible people since.

The company is genuinely really awful from my experience and there was one members of staff there who is particularly arrogant. As my last review got removed for mentioning names I am unable to do so but just avoid these guys at all cost.

We’re genuinely sorry for the situation you described. We never want a customer to feel let down, and we take your feedback seriously. For more than 12 years, Redber has proudly supported thousands of small, medium, and large businesses across the UK, continually striving to deliver exceptional service. We regret that your experience did not reflect the standards we uphold every day.

What Happened
• You selected a coffee machine that required third party finance and had a short lead time for ordering and installation. While finance is handled directly between the customer and the lender, our team stayed in close contact to assist wherever possible. Our customer service team maintained regular communication by phone and email, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
• The initial finance process experienced delays, and the order was cancelled before the machine was placed. Forty eight hours later, you asked us to restart the process urgently, which we did immediately.
• We sent our standard site readiness requirements via email, clearly outlining all information necessary for installation and highlighting key details such as the mains water supply and correct electrical connections to prevent disruption. You replied confirming installation could proceed, so we reasonably assumed the requirements had been acknowledged and understood. Once finance was approved, we ordered the machine and arranged installation as quickly as possible—going the extra mile by dispatching an engineer at 3 a.m. to provide additional support. Unfortunately, the site was still not ready, and the engineer was unable to complete the installation, resulting in another cancellation.

We are deeply sorry for the final outcome. Our goal has always been to provide a reliable, transparent, and caring service, and we remain fully committed to supporting all our customers with professionalism and respect.

Ordered some coffee recommended and…

Ordered some coffee recommended and loved the different single origin coffees. Tried the Halloween special, was really nice and fresh tasting ( never thought i would be saying that about coffee😁) . Took it to work as there are a few coffee lovers there and…. wow they all loved it. After finding out it is possible, we will be putting in standing orders now for this coffee on our sites going forward. We all used to drink the nice Italian coffees but although still nice I now much prefer Reber’s

I love Redber coffee

I love Redber coffee! We have tried several different blends and single origin - whole bean and filter grind. Any other coffee I’ve had since we started ordering from Redber just isn’t the same quality.
Give it a go, you won’t regret it!

A great business to work with

I recently bought a Victoria Arduino coffee machine for my business from Redber and I can confirm they are were very competitively priced, but more importantly the after service was second to none. I have now switched my coffee supplier to Redber’s coffee as it is far better and priced well.

Excellent experience with a truly professional and knowledgeable team!

Redber really helped me set up my new coffee shop. They took the time to understand my specific needs and never tried to push any particular machine — instead, they recommended options that genuinely suited my business. The coffee tasting session at their roastery was incredibly insightful; it not only deepened my understanding of coffee but also helped me choose the perfect beans for my customers. Highly recommend them to anyone starting or running a coffee business!

Great company and coffee - Redber

Great company, we are a SME and bought a La Marzocco coffee machine. Paul Merrell was super knowledgeable and provided a complete breakdown of the product and service offering.
Suffice to say the the price was competitive and the coffee is actually amazing for our staff and customers.
Well done team - fab product and highly recommended

Multiple blends, beautiful packaging

I got a pack of 4 different blends. The packaging was beautiful and the coffee was amazing! I used it with my sage espresso machine at home. Would definitely get more.

Very helpful and good coffee.

I picked up two medium roast African coffees today, along with some descaler and a tamper. I rang this morning asking if I could pick up an order that was ready, and a tamper that I ordered yesterday. The person on the phone was very helpful, she remembered my calling yesterday about the tamper, and afterwards when she saw I’d placed the order, she’d made sure it would be ready today, which was very kind of her. I chatted with the woman in the shop today, probably one of the owners, she was friendly and helpful too. I tried the Kenyan coffee as soon as I got home. It’s acidic, as she said it would be, and it was rather good. The Motta tamper is good too.

Great coffee

I have purchased coffee several times from Redber - it's a great local roastery near Guildford (always good to support a local business).
There have a smashing range of fresh beans with wonderful tastes. Packets come with dates and person who grounded the beans. And the staff seem to know what they are talking about.

Great fresh roasted coffee

Have been using various blends and countries of origin over the years. So far the Colombia Exelso Huila is my favourite. Consistant high quality products,supported by excellent service and prompt delivery.

Bad customer service

I order coffee beans a few times. Coffee is ok although nothing outstanding. One of my order never arrived and they had send a replacement, which arrived ok. I had requested a full refund but they Refused, saying it would be against their company policy. My most recent order hasn't arrived 5 days after they posted. Royal Mail notified it would be delivered yet it is till in one of their depot no way near our area. Exactly the same problem as the time before. All they do is to blame Royal Mail. Would not cancel my order, would not
refund. I gave them another chance after what happened before. No more.

Wouldn’t use them

Awful. Ordered on the 27th July. Order still hasn’t appeared. Blame put on Royal Mail. The same Royal Mail that has delivered multiple parcels to my house since ordering things at the weekend. Don’t take any accountability, no refund offer, can’t cancel order. Ordered coffee beans for a long time now. Like to try different companies. Will never touch this one again. Awful awful service.

In response to your reply, I have repeatedly been in touch with you to continuously hear it’s a problem with Royal Mail. Royal Mail tracking states “we’re expecting it”. Do they have it or not? Surely as a company paying for Tracked 48 hour delivery you would be hunting them down to see what’s gone wrong and demand answers as to why they haven’t fulfilled their service provision. Not only that, but also to establish when it will be sorted rather than leave it totally open ended or wait until a claim can be made. This can then be relayed to your customer (me on this occasion) rather than a generic “it’s Royal Mails fault”. In comparison I have made 4 other purchases since Friday of last week and every one has been delivered by Royal Mail (the latest one being today) so have no service issues with Royal Mail all around the UK.
Whilst your initial part may have been done efficiently, I pay for and expect a full service of which you should ensure happens. If it doesn’t then become accountable, pick it up with others in your service chain and ensure things are sorted. This makes sure you have the required service from start to finish and can confidently advertise it and deliver within its parameters. Whilst I appreciate you refunded me today, it has taken time for you to accept this was an issue until such time as you could claim for it. I genuinely wish you well in the future (which won’t include me as a customer) but stand by my view and opinion of how this should have played out.

Dear Simon. We’re sorry your first experience with us was disappointing. Your order was fulfilled within 24 hours, but unfortunately, unanticipated nationwide delays at Royal Mail in late July, which were beyond our control, affected delivery. A full refund was issued, as the order was deemed lost ater 10 working days, and we duly apologised for any inconvenience caused. While we respect your opinion, accusing us of poor service is unfair to our team, who acted promptly to fulfil your order and provide ongoing customer support.
