I am very happy to leave this review as I have been so impressed by every stage of this company delivering my Solar PV installation. It’s pretty rare to have such good service across the board - from the communications in the office right through to every single contractor that came to my house. It really felt like everyone wanted to do the best job they could and part of that was making sure me – the homeowner - was happy, understood what was happening and was part of decisions that felt important to me, such as where the installation cable would run down the outside of the house so as to make the least visual impact possible.

We recently had an Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV with battery storage installed through the Bristol City Leap / Warm Homes grant scheme, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

From start to finish, communication was excellent. Steph and the back-office team kept everything moving smoothly, were always responsive when needed, and made what could have been a complex process feel straightforward and stress-free.

A special mention to Dave, who carried out the design and heat loss calculations. It was clear that a significant amount of thought and expertise went into designing the system correctly rather than simply replacing like-for-like. The resulting radiator selections and system design gave us confidence that the installation would perform as intended.

The installation teams were outstanding. Professional, courteous, tidy, and incredibly efficient throughout. What impressed us most was that they simply got on with the job with minimal fuss while keeping us informed at every stage.

The ASHP installation was completed in just four days:

Day 1: Boiler removed, primary pipework installed (requiring some floorboards to be lifted), old emitters removed, and a new consumer unit/fuse board fitted.
Day 2: New emitters installed. Despite moving to a heat pump system, the radiator sizes were very reasonable and in many cases comparable in size to the originals thanks to the detailed design work.
Day 3: Water and hot water services restored.
Day 4: Heat pump installed, commissioned, and fully handed over.

One tip for anyone having a similar installation: decorate behind your existing radiator locations before the new emitters are fitted—you may never get a better opportunity!

The handover was excellent and made operating the new system very straightforward. I'd recommend taking a quick video of the explanation for future reference, although the system itself is surprisingly simple to use.

The Solar PV installation was equally impressive, with the panels installed in a single day and the inverter and battery installation completed shortly afterwards. Again, the team was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work.

We are exceedingly happy with the finished result. The quality of workmanship, professionalism of everyone involved, speed of installation, and overall customer experience have been first-class throughout.

We genuinely could not recommend the team more highly. If you're considering an ASHP or Solar PV installation, especially through the Bristol City Leap / Warm Homes programme, you can be confident you're in very good hands.

Very pleased with our new solar panels and the service we received from Redbridge & Sons. Everyone we spoke with was polite, helpful, and knew their stuff. We were up and running in no time and the support we've received has been fab. Really can't fault them at all. They put the panels up on a south facing roof during a heat wave. I thought they would cancel or take extra time as a result, but they didn't.They came prepared, worked hard, got the job done in half the expected time, and even cleaned up afterwards! Every time I've asked a question or sent an email, I get a super speedy, helpful and full response. Would highly recommend!

Great experience from start to finish. Steph was great at organising from installing the scaffolding, to the teams arranging the install of the solar and electrics. Slight snag on my new flooring from moving my fridge but aside from that it has been faultless. Thank you

A sign of a good company is not just doing a good job installing equipment. Four years post installation of a MyEnergi / GivEnergy system we i had a problem after a power cut. I tried to resolve the issue myself to no avail. I spoke with Steph at the office who arranged an engineers visit.
We were up and running 2 hours after he attended. Great service guys thank you

Redbridge & Sons installed a battery to connect to our solar panels back in Jan 2023. We had an issue with the system going live but they came back promptly and got it all working with no problems. Everything's been spot on since then, until a few weeks ago when the battery stopped working following a glitch on an automatic software update. Once again, they came out and sorted it efficiently and with no quibbles - and didn't even charge us for it. Feels like an honest, reliable local company - recommended!

We used Redbridge for our Solar installation. From meeting Ben in the showroom through to installation they were professional throughout. We were not put under any pressure, there was no hard sell.
We were kept totally informed through installation, Steve and the ‘roof’ team were efficient and Josh and Alicia the electricians were tidy and very pleasant.
We’re delighted with the system, and spend all of our time watching what we’re generating!

The planning and execution was well done. An untidy array of pipes was transformed.

I wanted some emergency sockets fitted to my solar inverter, quoted and fitted in one week. Price was good too. Excellent service, very efficient sorted a reconfigure of the firmware as well. Will use again for sure.

Redbridge and sons recently fitted solar panels with a stackable battery pack. The product was fantastic and priced better that other local companies quotes. The service was over and beyond what I expected, they went the extra mile on different aspects of the install when they noticed safety issues with my existing electrics. Very professional throughout the process and always in communications with me. I particularly liked the opportunity to visit the show room and discuss my requirement in detail.

Just an amazingly professional approach to all aspects of the project. From the care taken in getting the original brief accurate, following it to the letter when on site, to the respect for our home as they all worked on the installations. They did what they said they would do and they did it magnificently! Big thumbs up from us!

A rapid response to our request for solar panel installation, clear and detailed explanatory briefing materials, an effective on site planning visit. Only a few weeks delay before space available to complete.
Scaffolding, installation and electrical teams, timely, efficient, hard working and a pleasure to have around with their unfailingly cheerful and positive approach. System set up and app registration carefully explained on completion. Work was completed on schedule as agreed and liaison with Head Office was rapid and straightforward. A quality installation and I would thoroughly recommend.
