Rotten fruit in original and replacement hamper
I received a Fresh Muffin, Chocolate, Fruit & Nut Hamper as a gift, and the grit came rotten. The bananas were black, the green grapes were missing and the red grapes were mouldy.
When I wrote to complain, Regency Hampers sent a fruit hamper rather than a 1-for-1 replacement.
The replacement fruit hamper was smaller and was also missing green grapes and had rotten fruit.

As reflected in our reviews, this situation is not representative of our usual standards.
It seems you contacted us directly concerning some of the fruit that was initially received. We dispatched replacements for all of the fruit, not solely for those you brought to our attention. The muffins, chocolate, and nuts were unaffected, therefore replacements for these items were not issued - we did inform you that we would send replacement fruit.
We have not received any direct communication from you regarding the replacement fruit, so I regret to learn that this was also not satisfactory.

My only disappointment was that the hamper was a birthday gift for a friend which was to be a surprise but she received a call to say she was having the hamper delivered so for us that spoilt the surprise.
I can understand the need to call but not to say what the delivery contains

I have reviewed your order and can confirm that the call to your recipient was not initiated by Regency Hampers. It is probable that the delivery driver was attempting to be helpful by ensuring that your recipient was at home for the delivery. The driver would only have had access to the outer cardboard box, which is labelled with "Regency Hampers"; therefore, they likely mentioned having a parcel from us, but they were certainly unaware of the complete contents and could not have disclosed that information.
I apologise if you felt this diminished the surprise.
All round great experience
Easy to find the range of products I wanted to choose from in a range of competitive price points.
Easy to checkout and fast delivery.
The hamper was really well received by the recipient who said the range and quality of the goods was fabulous.
Great communication and all round great experience!

I gave this 2 stars as opposed to one because it did arrive on the correct date.
I ordered the fruit/breakfast hamper for a birthday. The hamper was fruit, cookies, muffins a rocky road and a flapjack.
The fruit was manly bruised and much of it needed to go in the bin. The cookies were stale and the muffins tasted VERY over processed, like petroleum station muffins.
It was an absolute pain because I had to go out and re buy all the stuff to ensure I could still put a birthday breakfast together.
In future I won’t try to save time by ordering from here I’ll just go to the shop and get better products for half the money.

The cookies are expected to have a minimum shelf life of four weeks, so we are eager to investigate your claim of them being stale.
The muffins we offer are generally well received, so we apologise if they did not meet your expectations.
We are disheartened to hear that the fruit arrived bruised, and we would like to investigate this matter as well.

Food Hamper
Hsving purchased a food hmper for a birhday present from what looked like a very impressive web site, when it arrived it was a disappointment. The hamper was a lot smaller then expected as were the contents. Thought it was very overpriced and definaitely not worth the money
