Geht gar nicht. Zwei Stunden später bin ich letztendlich angekommen, während mich die Leuchtröhren die ganze nacht angestrahlt haben. Ich verstehe nicht, warum man das Licht nicht leicht dimmen kann, damit auch der letzte versteht, dass man ruhig sein muss und dass man schlafen kann. Zwei Mal damit gefahren, nie wieder

Terrible experience

Terrible experience – avoid this company at all costs!

The service is extremely misleading. Their website claims that small animals are allowed on board, but only if you dig through the fine print do you discover that this applies only to specific routes. This feels deliberately vague, almost like a scam, designed to appear accommodating while hiding restrictive policies.

Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. I was able to travel with my small bird—from Berlin to Prague—without issue. The bird was in a proper travel bag, covered, calm, and sleeping. But once in Prague, I was suddenly and aggressively denied boarding.

The staff didn’t speak a single word of English, showed no willingness to listen or understand the situation, and refused to check anything. Instead, they left me stranded alone at midnight at the Prague bus station. No assistance, no explanation—just cold dismissal.

This was by far the worst travel experience I've ever had. I will never use this service again, and I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious. Deceptive policies and unacceptable treatment of passengers.

I suggest some super simple fixes:

I propose all modes of transport have a great weakness. Bikes require constant maintenance; driving incurs significant invisible costs. Whenever I travel by train, meanwhile I accept some risk of substantial delays or cancellations. Today was one such unlucky day; RegioJet suffered a four-hour delay.

But that's not the reason for my review. There will always be some probability of delay (unless, perhaps, everyone used public transport?).

What RegioJet really needed, however, was proper communication of this delay. An email alerted me to a 240-minute delay, and a second, 100 minutes later, a second claimed the delay was 140 minutes. With no obvious way to check online, I assumed that meant the delay was 'proceeding to plan'.

Consequently, I returned to the station 220 minutes after the time on my ticket. Since the station staff were all MAV, a separate company, who couldn't really help, RegioJet had a responsibility to tell me which platform the delayed train would arrive at. Did they? Not a chance.

More importantly, RegioJet also failed to alert me to the fact their delay had actually shrunk from 240 minutes to 180 - and as a result I'd missed my train entirely!

I award two stars instead of one because customer service said they'd happily refund this ticket.

Again in my experience even four-hour delays are annoying but inevitable. All I ask is that in future you attach a link to some sort of delay tracker on the email you send claiming your trains are 240 minutes late. And to tell me whether or not the platform will change.

Edit: my refund never arrived. Customer service lied. Downgrading to one star.

Excellent client service

Excellent client service. First I bought an incorrect ticket, I contacted them by chat and the attention was immediate and super nice. Then I left my jacket on the bus, I called and they found and returned my jacket.

Good trip from Vienna Meidling to Deli Budapest.
We're from the UK and were worried about the journey after reading negative reviews. We paid a little extra for business class and it was worth it. Carriage was comfy and spacious, staff regularly checking in to see if you wanted anything. Prices for food and drinks were cheap. Train arrived on time and was only slightly late arriving at Deli. The only thing that let it down a little was the cleanliness. There was leftover food on a plate when we got to our carriage, and when we tried to order more beers with just over an hour left of our journey, we were told we couldn't order any more as they had to clean the train but the bins were full in our carriage when we started the journey and were never emptied. The boards when you get to the station show which platform you need to go to, although it only came up 7 minutes before the train arrived not leaving a great deal of time to get to the platform. Overall though our experience was positive and we would use again.

Customer services do not exist

Customer services do not exist. They either do not reply or their answer is nonsense. I really do not get why the style and attitude in 2025 is still like in the socialist era. Not much has changed in that part of the world.

DONT!!! just don’t .

Train was sucks catering is not working in the app. But without that u can’t order food . They don’t care.
On the bus the packing guys not helping u with your luggage. ( I almost broke my arm bc one of them is standing there but not trying to help.)
Snack machine is not working and they turning off the coffee machine.
Plus the bus drivers are not driving that safe….

Schrecklicher Service und totale Abzocke

Diese Firma RegioJet ist wirklich eine Schande! In ihrer beschissenen App gibt es keine Option, um ein Ticket zu stornieren. Welches dämliche Unternehmen bietet heutzutage nicht einmal diese grundlegende Funktion an? Dann schicken sie einen lächerlichen Link per E-Mail, auf den man klickt, und es wird nach der Ticketnummer und E-Mail-Adresse gefragt. Ich habe es hundertmal korrekt eingegeben, aber jedes Mal gibt es einen Fehler. Es scheint, als wollten sie absichtlich nicht, dass man sein Ticket storniert!

Ich schreibe eine E-Mail, um mein Problem zu melden, aber es ist, als ob es niemanden interessiert; sie antworten nicht. Was ist das für ein Zustand? Hier muss man für jedes kleine Problem eine Beschwerde einreichen, damit sie vielleicht mal in Bewegung kommen.

Sie müssen diesen Mist in Ordnung bringen: Eine Stornierungsoption in der App hinzufügen, ihren kaputten Link reparieren und endlich auf die E-Mails der Leute antworten. Solange das so ist, rate ich niemandem, diesen beschissenen Service zu nutzen. Es macht nur die Nerven kaputt!

Pünktlich, modern und sauber

Pünktliche Fahrt von Köln nach Eindhoven. Der Bus kam leicht verspätet in Eindhoven an, dies lag aber nur an viel Verkehr.
Die Fahrweise war sehr angenehm und insgesamt war der Bus sauber und modern. Während der zweistündigen Fahrt wurde sogar zweimal die Sauberkeit überprüft und bei Bedarf gesäubert.

Bin heute mit dem Regiojet von Prag…

Bin heute mit dem Regiojet von Prag nach Wien gefahren, habe 15€ für mein Ticket gezahlt, einen gratis Kaffee & Wasser bekommen und mir ein, für Zugverhältnisse, sehr gutes Hühnchencurry einverleibt.
Kann mich nicht beklagen, finde das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super!

Da ich Regiojet jetzt kenn werde ich sicher öfter nach Wien fahren : )

Used to be great, but the service is degrading and has constant issues

I’ve been taking RegioJet (Amsterdam>Prague route) for quite some time now. It used to be really great, with free hot beverages, snacks and drinks available to purchase and entertainment embedded in each seat. Unfortunately the quality has been degrading steadily over time. Now most of the time things just don’t work. Coffee machine stops working, vending machine out of order or the entertainment is completely messed up and stops working halfway through the trip. I’ve had trips where none of these three things was working. I understand these things are extras that other companies are not even offering, but if you can’t keep the service up and running I would rather be honest and stop offering these things since more often than not you are not actually able to provide them.

Best for me

To be honest, i love this company. I've never experienced something bad, so i have no idea why it has so bad rating. From Prague to Brno or Ostrava it's best in my opinion.

Deceptive Promises and Poor Service – Never Again with RegioJet

My experience with RegioJet has been disappointing on two separate occasions:

First incident: The bus was 40 minutes late upon arrival, and there was no notification or update about the delay. To make matters worse, after 20 minutes of driving, the bus returned to the original stop in Dresden and stayed there for a while. This caused me to miss my connecting train, leading to further complications. The situation was chaotic, and the passengers were left completely uninformed.

Second incident: On another trip, the bus was delayed by over an hour. RegioJet heavily advertises compensation for delays based on the length of the trip, but in reality, they calculate it based on the full length of the entire route. For example, for a Prague–Dresden connection, even if the delay exceeds an hour, you might not receive any compensation because the delay is measured against the entire Prague–Dresden–Berlin route. This practice feels deceptive and contradicts their promise of "on-time arrival guarantees."

I’ve canceled my credit ticket with RegioJet because I no longer want to use a service that fails to meet its commitments and misleads its customers. Strongly not recommended.

Unpleasant

I used to like regiojet for its great prices and relatively great service, but they really disappointed me today. There were two passengers today, who had their German-shepherd with them, really calm, silent, cute one, who caused absolutely zero problem to anyone, stayed in one place the entire time without making a sound. These people came all the way from Mexico with a lot of stuff, and visibly up for a long, tiring journey, yet the staff decided to force them to get out in Győr after starting their journey in Budapest, because of the dog. They didn’t say one word, when the two women got on the train with their dog. They waited about 100 kms to tell them, that ‘Hey youre not allowed to travel with us’, they paid their tickets, they had their dog license or whatever with them, which even said that she is a rescue dog or helping dog (dont know the expression), they paid the dogs ticket as well. After all of this they acted in a disrespectful way (the staff), they were unable to precisely explain the problem, and forced these two passengers and their dog to get off the train, making them actually pay for their next trip a lot. Completely unheard of and they should be ashamed of themselves, joke of a way of dealing with this. One must also mention, not a person was bothered by the dog. Just pathetic

Oh also, if we are being so cautious:), how about telling loud-moving ppl to be more silent, and make the plugs actually work, because I tell you what they dont. Yet they are ready to force smn get off the train because of their calm silent dog… Joke mate

Und bis man die Bestellung bezahlen kann ist es ein Hürdenlauf - unglaublich bis die Card zB Visa dann endlich zahlungsfähig ist....die übliche Zahlung über das Konto hat auf der RegioApp nicht funktioniert. Bei Visa musste ich dann ca 30min herumdrücken um meine Bestellung überhaupt bezahlen zu können. Liegt auch an Visa doch:
Es fängt schon damit an dass einfach vorausgesetzt wird jeder hat hochfunktionale Handys und kennt sich hundertprozentig auch damit aus sich Apps &Co herunterzuladen und mit Card-welche natürlich auch Voraussetzung ist- zu bezahlen.
Weshalb kann man nicht einfach beim Bordpersonal welches sowieso stets auf u abläuft direkt bestellen u bezahlen. Das arme Personal hetzt herum und bekommt evtl die Laune der Gäste -welche auf ihre Bestellung warten-zu spüren.
Diese neumodischen Apps und auferzwungene Bezahlungen nerven einen gewaltigst! Da lob ich mir die altmodische Lebensweise...einfach aber unkompliziert und prompt!
