The service was quick, they provided me an updated resume with very neat format. I sent my targeted position and the writer provided me the most fitting content for it. Impressive!

After spending over $400 and 40 job applications later. I have received 0 responses. When asked for a revision, I was told you are past 30 days and would need to purchase a new plan.

I would stay away from this entity for CV writing. I Approached them to have a fresh CV written for me as i was on the hunt for my next step in my career.

I mentioned all details that i want with the person writing my CV and the CV was created. Some polishing was need to be done which was made. After about 3 weeks I cam back to them and raised my concern that I only got 3 views on my LinkedIn profile. I have 14 years of retail experience written on that CV. They told me to wait a bit and it will get going. This was during the time period they advise before having to do a whole review if I was not satisfied. I waited and came back to them after a month and told them i only have 4 views and the momentum is really slow. Again they told me to wait. after almost 3 months i contacted them and told them i only got 11 views and this was not right. They responded that its over the time frame to have a complete review and i should pay for a new CV to be written. This was not what they had promised in the beginning.

I emailed them to get in touch with me as im very frustrated. An Asian lady calls me after 2 weeks. I politly explained to her the situation and got the same answer that its over the time frame, although i emphasized that I already got in touch with them twice before to raise my concern. The result was she slammed the phone on me while i was speaking to her.

Shame on you for treating your clients like that! I put in a lot of money to get my CV done by a so called professional agency only to receive the treatment they gave! I honestly don't understand how they got that many happy clients, but i would put my money with another company to do the job that has more respect!

Don't use this site, the negative reviews out there are not fake.
Before the purchase I chatted with (multiple) customer service agents who claimed the negative reviews are A, fake, B, old and about writers that performed poorly but no longer work with the company.
As of October 2022 I can say that the results were poor and the guarantee was not honored.

I purchased the package - resume + coverletter + LinkedIn profile. Described my experience, concerns, expectations in detail, provided 2 copies of my previous resumes, provided reference letters and my LinkedIn profile information. I also chose the 5 day delivery to allow the writer to really tackle it all.

1 - the delivery was delayed by 2 days, violating the purchase terms. During those 7 days the writer worked on the files I didn't get so view any of it.

2 - once they finally provided the files, 2 days late, I immediately provided feedback on the design and the content.

The design was horrid, the excessive bolding and highlighting and use of unpleasing colors created a poor first impression, and most definitely would deter anyone from reviewing the resume.

The content was a joke - the writer copied the bullet points from my existing materials, and in certain spots didn't realize they copied/pasted into the wrong section. They failed to create the narrative in any file (resume, coverletter, linkedin profile), completely failed to make it accomplishment oriented.

I went back and forth with the writer several times, provided additional information and design samples just to keep getting worse results.

I then reached out to the Support and requested another writer or a refund. I was told to file an official complaint, which would be reviewed by the investigations team.

The investigations team determined the resume is "fine" and they won't issue a refund.

How is this not scam?

This type of service does not really exist in France, so I decided to use a "foreign" CV writing service. I chose "Resumesplanet" because it was "well" ranked among the sites that list this type of service.

To make it simple, you will find below the feedback I gave to "my" writer. In my opinion, while the price is high, the value received is at least as expected.

Dear writer. Only one word came to my mind at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading of my CV: wow! You managed to synthesise, make choices (and compromises) and put forward what seemed most important. A job I was not able to do.

Well done! I could say more but I can't sum up my positive feelings about your work. It's simple: when I read "my" CV reworked by you, I hire myself :)

Now I have to do the "simplest" job: translate and interpret your work into my working language. I hope to achieve a result that is at least as convincing as the one you produced.

Absolutely horrid. Words strung together that made no sense whatsoever. Did NOT have any industry experience and Jr. Level "writer" at best. They turned items I had on my resume' into factually incorrect statements and used wording completely inappropriate for the industry. I sent an entire outline of all the mistakes and continued to request a refund.

They do not provide any ATS scanning results (btw my resume came up a "Low Match" against a position that I matched 100%).

Their "guarantees" mean nothing. After reviewing, they came back with a 50% refund offer when NOTHING they provided was of any value. Their own assessment was "The document is partially usable" and "Partially usable" to two of the 3 categories they evaluated (Of course the supplemental files - template cover, follow-up, and thank you letters were "useable"... they are NOT). The reality is that none of the artifacts were usable at all. I would have been mortified to submit my resume and the same for their "cover letter", "follow up letter", or "thank you letter"; better off writing your own. This is especially since they offer no ATS analysis which is the underpinning search algo that raises your resume' to the top focusing on key words from job description.

They will immediately try to upsell you and convince you that you should spend more with them - do not.

I simply cannot warn you strong enough - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Seek other sources and ones who actually deliver on their "guarantee" - these folks do not.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use them if you are above mid-level in your career. They will feature your tasks but not structure as achievements and simply cannot handle the influencing, relationship management, or other aspects of a Sr. level position.

Resumes Planet provided horrible service. They asked me to send my experience and copies of old resumes. They copied exactly what was on my old resume, changed 3 words and send as a finished product. My prior resume was bad which is why I hired Resumes Planet to create a fresh new resume and incorporate key words from the job I am seeking. I did not receive anything I requested. Very difficult to communicate with resume writer (hard to understand and their availability was not the best) I would NOT recommend Resumes Planet.

I decided to change a company and wanted to move to a bigger city. And the first step was to create an outstanding CV. My friend used this service before so I knew where to get help. The CV I've got impressed me, it was well-structured and highlighted all my strengths and skills. And good news, I am waiting for the interview that will be tomorrow.

I don't know how to write CVs, so I decided to order help online. This company seemed genuine and affordable. They delivered my CV in several days after I placed an order, and I was good. Yet, I had some corrections since I wanted to apply for a particular position. Btw, I got an invitation to the interview in three days after I sent my CV.

II ordered a package consisting of a CV, two cover letters and a Linkedin profile. While placing the order I requested that one of the local UK writers is assigned to the job and was assured that one of the "most qualified senior writers" will be looking after me.They completed the job in four days instead of five as per service guarantee but what was the result! The wording used does not leave any doubt of the writer's US location. Because of wrong terminology and used phrases, documents sound unprofessional, confusing and sometimes misleading. Some of the provided supporting data was messed up sto such a level that it lost its sense.
Company offered documents revision by the same writer. Lost a week with zero results.
Requested refund  under their Guarantee for Refund Policy.

Due to the fact that I am changing jobs, all of the documentations have to be created from the scratch, so to speak. My Cover Letter, Resume, and LinkedIn Profile were all written by Resumeplanet, and they were all excellent representations of my abilities, skills, and qualities, while also reflecting my personality. The level of professionalism, thoroughness, and personality shown by these individuals cannot be adequately expressed in word.

I am not good at writing about myself. This is when I hired the services of this company to create for me an impressive cover letter. I gave them all the possible details about me and the writers came up with a great cover letter. It was truly compact and to the point. Whoever will read that cover letter will be definitely impressed. I even received a 15% first order discount!

I thought it was good; they are very attentive and respond quickly. But on closer examination of the final CV, it is appalling.

There are too many problems to mention, but what exactly does the below statement mean??? It is even grammatically incorrect without a 'the' before unique.

'Tapped talents and judgments of a varied workforce to meet unique needs of a diverse client base and the communities in which the organisation functions.'

If I was asked this question in an interview, what does this mean? I would have no idea how to answer.

You have to be quick. I received my final CV on 6th July. On 24th July, I sent through the request to address the issues and was told I have to place a new order as the time has now passed.

AVOID!!!!!!! I mistakenly paid £201.

Update: An hour after posting this review, Resumesplanet is now offering to amend the CV. I have decided to request a refund under their Guarantee for Refund Policy.
