If a customer leaves their laundry unattended, the machine will remain locked until the time has elapsed. A free of charge text reminder is also sent to the customer’s device a few minutes before the wash has finished, and payments are easier than ever with machines now accepting contactless payment.

Good customer service, resolved my issue quickly

I recently used the revolution washing machine at upper church Lane tipton. I experienced an issue which I hadn't experienced whilst using the machines before. I contacted customer service and spoke to a lady called Denise. She was friendly and helpful and dealt with my issue quickly.

When they are working

When they are working, the washing machines are really very good delivering excellent cleaning results. There are two sizes available to use, which is great when you need to do an extra large load containing items such as duvets.

However, the dryers take an absolute age which both costs a fortune and is very inconvenient unless you have time to spend 3 or 4 hours in the pub opposite waiting for everything to dry, which most of us don't as we all live very busy lives. So save your money and pop your load on an airer at home, and you can spend time doing something more productive than simply waiting for your laundry to dry.

Repair times are slow, and the washing machine is out of order at peak times at least once a fortnight, taking at least 24-48 hours each before they are up and working again. The company would do very well to invest in some sort of instant notification system for their mobile repair teams so that when a machine malfunctions in order to ensure that downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.

My review is for the machines outside the petrol garage on Llangyfelach Road Swansea based on the last couple of year's of use.

Customer service is awful

Went to use a machine, the washer didn't spin properly, but I carried on and used the drier, sat for 30 mins and the washing needed more time, to find out there was no heat!
Emailed "support" to be ignored and even after a second email, ignored still.

Use at your own risk, customer service is non existent.

Despite getting an automated response, the email still has no response 27/02/2024

Worries proved groundless…

I was very concerned after reading reviews, so I checked on a local forum before using the washers based in Penketh, Warrington. I am really pleased, the big blanket/duvet came out great! And they text me when it was done in the washer. Minor gripes, it was expensive at £23.50 for the wash and dry, and the text didn’t come for the dryer end alert! First world problems 😀! All in all a good service!

A washing machine that doesn’t wash

I used the 18kg washing machine to clean my duvet. The duvet came out almost dry and had not been cleaned. I paid £11 for the cycle and followed all instructions, so am disappointed with the service. I have tried finding a way to contact the customer service team and can only find a number based abroad. I feel disappointed and will not be using the service again.

Machine never washed the clothes

Machine never washed the clothes - they came out dry. I saved the date, time and location of the machine but, seeing as I am not a French resident with a French number and address, was unable to reach out for a refund. I paid 10 euro for a wash which did not happen. The English company was of no use and could not give me any other means of contacting the French branch of the company - I had already explained to them this was not possible without a French address and the machine number - which I found nowhere in any of the pictures of the machines I took

Expensive and slow driers

The washing machines are good, but expensive. The dryer is also expensive but absolutely useless, takes hours and a lot of money to dry your clothes. I ended up taking a lot of wet clothes to a proper launderette where the clothes were dried in no time, for very little money.

Never again waste of money and time

It second time I used your service and to be honest I will never used it again.first time I dry about 4 kg of clothes 45 min and was still wet and doesn't had any small so no detergent today I give it try one more time and same no smell same dirty as I put in shocking. No costumer service give my money back

The machines constantly malfunction and…

The machines constantly malfunction and trying to get a refund is like pulling teeth...then you get told refunds are only via Bacs....they took the payment off my card in seconds and should refund back to the card via faster payments not f##king Bacs. I tell them each time it's the same machine, same location as per email chain but they stall for time, the machine isn't fixed which means many other people are getting money taken off them amounting to hundreds of ££££.

My advice is stay well clear of them... I'll not be using them anymore, I'll go the local launderette

The machines were surrounded by litter…

The machines were surrounded by litter and rubbish, nearly twisted my ankle and fell on some timber lying in front of the machines, dryer and wash machine full of dog hair, expensive and slow, now drying remainder of my washing in front of my heater.

Above and beyond customer service!

After a washing machine breakdown at home the revolution laundry was a saviour over the new year period with lots of family home for holidays and a lot more laundry than usual. Easy to use and operate. Then when we had the disaster of a lost diamond bracelet in the wash the customer service I received was extremely timely and kind and professional. Luckily an engineer was sent to the machines used and the bracelet retrieved within 48 hours. Couldn’t be more impressed and a million thanks.

A complete waste of time

A complete waste of time. I went all the way up there and followed the instructions but it wouldn’t take my cards ( x2) I went into the garage and the assistant needs a crash course in customer care! Don’t bother.

Dry your laundry in the rain quicker!

Went to dry our washing on a 30 min. God lord what a farce! You’d be quicker drying washing spinning it round your head- our clothes were not just damp but wet. Came back after 35 mins it was freezing and damp, honestly awful. For £7.00 as well- I don’t know what I paid the £7 for, but if it was for a joke it was definitely on me!

I recently contacted Revolution Laundry…

I recently contacted Revolution Laundry UK customer service regarding a faulty machine, they responded to my email immediately and the machine was repaired straight away. They also then emailed me again to update me about the progress. I am impressed with their customer service and the fact that they could get an engineer out so quickly to repair the faulty machine.

Unfinished wash. returned to my washing…

Unfortunately I returned to my washing that I put in ( two loads ) at the cost of
£18.50 to find the large load hadn’t completed due to a water problem .
I realised 3 hrs later if my time and petrol with a back car fill of wet washing that hadn’t completed its cycle . I refuse to put mother £13 in the machine until my refund has gone into my account .
Excellent customer service with staff and the gentleman whose ground you rent with his advice .
BUT no way of giving the customer a free try again service on “ The House “for disruption of morning schedule.

First time using your washer as my new…

First time using your washer as my new washer hasn't arrived yet . Paid 6.50 for a wash to not even get my clothes washed or even damp . Can't believe I got charged money for a service I didn't even receive absolutely disgraceful it isn't even a way to get your money back or report a fault. Wasted time using the Nottingham Eastwood one as it doesn't you work

Excellent.

We use the Revolution washers and the dryers if we have a lot of bedding and towels esp in the winter. We either use Ardglass or Downpatrick (NI) and have found both very good.

My only issue is the people who just leave their washing or drying in the machine and go away until well after it’s finished so other people can’t use it. I feel reluctant to remove other people’s clothes but it is annoying.

Money guzzler, don’t bother!

Firstly it lets you load up on a dryer in use and for that person to use the credit as it doesn’t allow you to cancel.
Secondly when you wash it doesn’t spin off so you end up spending £25 trying to get the items dry. 15 and 30 mins drying on high are not enough. Overall thoughts….it’s a money guzzler!

All our machines offer a spin. If you select the 15-degree wash, this option does not spin as it is for a delicate wash.
This information is provided on the machines. If this option was selected accidentally then your items would be left dripping wet and would take a long time to dry in the dryer.
