Rickshaw we're easy to communicate with and accommodated our requests with no issues. The accommodation was top notch. Such a great experience I want to go back every year!

I love independent travel but like many busy professionals have no time to organise it. Rickshaw travel managed everything very quickly and efficiently. Everything went absolutely according to plan and it meant that my family and I could travel for two weeks with everything taken care of.

We went on a family trip to Laos and Thailand in January. Thanks to Kate at Rickshaw the travel arrangements, accommodation, tours, drivers and guides were all excellent. Everything went very smoothly. If you haven't been to Laos, then do not hesitate in going. It is a beautiful country with very welcoming people. We visited Luang Prabang alongside the Mekhong River and stayed at Sala Prabang along the river-highly recommend. Luang Prabang is a place of temples, good food, Botanic Garden, easy to walk around and visit the countryside to the Bear Sanctuary and Kuang Si Falls. Next we went to Bolaven Plateau, southern Laos and stayed at the Tad Fane Resort in the forest with beautiful butterflies, amazing waterfalls and walks through the coffee plantations and on the plateau. Then on to Four Thousand Islands and stayed on Don Khone with brilliant sunsets on the Mekhong River, very peaceful, and recommend cycling through the rice fields. Highlight in Thailand was our visit to Khao Yai National Park. We went there by train from Bangkok which was lots of fun and stayed at the Khao Yai Life Nature Resort, located in the countryside and a very enjoyable stay. We went to see the bats leave the caves as dusk and next day went to Khao Yai National Park. We did see gibbons, hornbills, macaques, sambar deer and one wild elephant. It is a large park with many visitors, so be realistic about how much wildlife you expect to see. The walk through the forest and grasslands and visit to one of the waterfalls was very enjoyable in itself.

Rickshaw was great, they responded promptly to emails in the organisation stage and everything they organised went off smoothly. Happy to recommend for future travelers to Peru.

Great service from Matthew from Rickshaw, trying to suit all our needs for a great trip. Some ups and downs due to the age differences in our group. But overall a good experience. Vietnam was good, and will be better in another 10 years I am sure.

Matthew from Rickshaw travel was great. He was very prompt in responding to any questions regarding our itinerary prior to our booking.
We enjoyed that our travel was completely independent. We especially enjoyed the airport pick ups and the tour guides were very knowledgeable of the local destinations. When we had problems with our luggage due to a baggage handlers strike, Matthew and Martina from the local agency in Argentina kept in touch with us to ensure that our issues were resolved.
There were too many highlights, an additional day in Torres Del Paine would have been great and perhaps if we stayed 4 days in Buenos Aires rather than 2 days at the beginning of the trip and another 2 days at the end. We recommend staying in Mendoza and the private wine tour was excellent.
The only aspect I would change is some of the accommodation was not very central with very standard rooms.

Let them know what you dream for and they will do their best to make your wishes come true. They fill in what you don't have - knowing the places, the people, the tricks and the secrets. We were a group of 7 that were spending some time together and then breaking up into two groups only to meet up again later. Matthew from Rickshaw had no problem dealing with our requests. He customized an itinerary for three of us while the other four did their own thing.
All of the accommodation and transport that was booked for us were perfect for our needs and budget, definitely more luxurious than we thought we would get for the price.
We had the very best of tour guides, just for our group and all of our transfers and guides met us at the time and place they were booked.
I feel we got a much better deal, much more personalized service and definitely a more authentic experience than travelers that book through big agency's or tour brochures.
Im planning on talking to them for our next holiday.

Matthew at Rickshaw was excellent in setting up our holiday and providing us with a balanced itinerary over 2 weeks. We saw a lot about what the countries had to offer which has a balance between planned tours and free time. The Accommodation and Tour guides were excellent and all people we were in contact with over the time were extremely professional.

Well organised, comfortable hotels and home stay, our drivers spoke enough English for us all to know what we were doing ang going to. Cars were comfortable and clean with A/C that worked. Cheers

We booked on line with Rickshaw Travel. Everything went very smoothly from airport pick ups to checking into hotels. They planned the itinerary for us and organised all our tours which were all exceptional. In between tours it was all free time for us to do as we please. The Hotels they booked for us were all clean and comfortable with very helpful friendly staff. We Highly recommend this company.

We asked Rickshaw travel to organize our holiday to India. They organized everything from travel, hotels, tours, drivers and guides. Our total experience was excellent and we would not hesitate to use them again for future holidays or recommend them to our friends and others. They stayed with us from beginning to end and followed up during to make sure everything was going well. They even gave us tips at various places to enhance our holiday experience.

If you're looking for an experience away from the regular tourist stops, check out Rickshaw Travel. They made it easy for our family to stay with local families in small villages. We experienced the 'real' Cambodia, and have so many more stories to tell because of it.

I am usually a very independent traveller, a remnant of backpacking in my youth. On a recommendation from a friend I booked Rickshaw travel as traveling with children aged 12 and 15, a mother aged 75 and a husband, seemed a little too daunting to organise solo. I couldn't have been happier with the decision. Last minute changes on our request were made to the itinerary without an issue by Rickshaw and everything ran smoothly. The local guides were all exceptional I especially liked the down time and freedom that was built into the trip to allow us to do our own thing and make some independent decisions on activities and experiences. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rickshaw travel again or to recommend them to others.

Great guides in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Loved the rickshaw ride to the boat on the Mekong loaded up with all our luggage. Entertained the locals too.
Only one complaint in 18 days travelling.
That was our accommodation in Pnohm Penh - the Cara hotel was substandard.
Having said this - our holiday was very very near perfect.

Rickshaw Travel helped organise our recent trip to Cambodia. From beginning to end, it was well organised, good hotels and great guides.

Our favourite part as a family was the homestay that we did. I was concerned that the kids would find it difficult - no internet etc. but they really enjoyed it. Playing games with the local children, cycling through the jungle exploring temples and eating with our host family. I would completely recommend it if you want to show your family how people live and what is important to them.

Cambodia seems to be a very complex, resilient, thriving nation. The history is staggering, the people are very gentle and the food is good. The temples are staggering in their size and sophistication, architecture is lovely, and if you go to Battambang, please go to the circus school. it is brilliant.
