DVD left my frozen fish on a neighbour's doorstep. The driver didn't think of phoning me. I was in all day. The last time I used your service DVD could not find my house and returned my lobsters to base.

The scallops were delicious and had helpful cooking instructions. The crab was also incredible and we decadently had it in a sour dough sandwich with rocket and mayonnaise. The Goan curry with hake was also easy to make and tasty albeit quite hot for me. I think I maybe would use a little less of the curry paste next time. Overall a real treat.

The ordering was simple. It came so quickly, 2 days! Absolutely love the jug.

I was disappointed with the fish box overall. The oysters were delivered 3/4 days after despatch date, meaning we did not trust to eat raw. The curry sauce was not a good flavour and ruined the hake. I feel I would have been more satisfied without the extras that should have been convenient but didn’t deliver in flavour - should just keep to providing good quality fish.

It was delivered quickly and it was very tasty, but the oysters (when eaten raw) turned out to have very dire consequences for my wife. Not assigning any blame, just a statement of fact. Would use again but not for the consumption of raw fish.

I am not very experienced at cooking fish, so Valentines was probably not the time to try. BUT the Hake I ordered made it so simple. The fish was so fresh and beautifully packaged and having got the RS recipe online it was fabulous so huge thank you. Will be ordering again.

The fish was so fresh and generous in size. I followed the scallops recipe with hazelnut butter which was delicious. The hake recipe with Goan sauce was potentially good but there was no instruction as to the amount to add and I put in the whole jar. It’s was severely hot for us and so we couldn’t eat it. The large dressed crabs were sublime. I’m yet to try the other fish which I’ve frozen in convenient portions. The advice on freezing was helpful and also the access to recipies. It’s a shame delivery times are not given more in advance as I had to keep the whole day free. They delivered at the time promised and everything was very well preserved in special cooling packages.
Mayonnaise was not included although the website said sometimes they are not available.
I will certainly order the same again as it’s a real treat to have such variety and good quality. Ordering on line is so convenient as it’s difficult to find good fresh fish near me. And thank you.

The delivery was terrible, advised as being 2pm and finally came at 8pm so ruining dinner plans

Fish soup was great. Xmas pudding was bland and tasteless.

All items were of the highest quality and very fresh. Packaging is very effective and I can recycle everything apart from the silver bubble wrap which I wish could be returned.

DPD scheduled delivery for 16.13 to 17.13, which was a little later than we anticipated, as we wanted to eat some that evening, and freeze the rest. However, it wasn’t actually delivered until just before 21.00. (9pm), which meant that it had been in transit since 15.09 the previous day, and although the packaging was really good, the top cool block was defrosted. When we finally ate some of the salmon fillets the following day, there was a pungent smell, which we have NEVER previously had with Rick Stein’s fish.

I booked the main restaurant @ Sandbanks for special birthday experience for my mother (7 people for an 80th) . Explained this when booking. Whilst the staff were quite pleasant - no mention of birthday or an attempt to make her feel special. Plus inflexibility with menu options.The restaurant was not busy as it was lunchtime.Given the amount we spent we won’t return and will explore other options locally with better atmosphere . A shame.

Everything arrived on time and was beautifully packed, all the fish was delicious along with the fish soup.
