We used Riley’s removals last week for our house move . We were very impressed with the service we received . During the planning we were kept fully informed . On the day they were punctual /professional and friendly . Nothing was too much trouble . I would highly recommend . A special mention to Dave,Michael,Thomas , Tristan and William .

Martyn and his team moved us from Lancashire to Herefordshire,it was done over two days , and was planned around our needs and went like clockwork .The lads were very friendly ,efficient but professional, they enjoyed the tea and biscuits !😀.All our furniture was moved and placed with care . I would highly recommend them .

We have recently moved home with Riley’s Removals, what a great company to deal with. From the initial great value quote to handling moving on the day the team were good humoured and a pleasure to deal with at a time which was very stressful for ourselves. Even our new neighbours commented how the lads seemed to be enjoying unloading the van at my new address, what a great impression.

A most considerate and professional service. They allowed me to move in 2 stages and could not have been more helpful.

We have used Riley’s removals on a number of occasions and have never been let down. On this last occasion they went above and beyond their usual excellent service to help during a difficult time. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Riley’s for any sort of moves and storage needs.

Martin & team moved us into our new house 4 years ago and have returned to do several jobs for us since then such as the collection of new furniture. We have recommended them many times since then to friends and family and they have never let us down.
They have been brilliant with us on the big moves but also with smaller tasks such as helping us move mature trees that were delivered to us and we couldn't get them to the back garden without assistance - the last one being at the start of July. Massive thanks to them!! Finally the price is always very reasonable.

Gave them all my details about moving from Wilmslow to Southport, asked three times for a quote three times which they said they would give next day, never bothered to reply !!

Have used Riley’s twice in the last 2months. Excellent service good team of lads .Nothing too much trouble very efficient and helpful.Forget the rest,use the best RILEYS REMOVALS.

Communication was brilliant throughout and they offered flexibility that others didn’t. It was a really professional service. Two workers with a large van who did absolutely everything was not significantly more expensive than the quotes for one man with a van who needed help to lift wardrobes and the like. I must say that I was surprised by the high level of customer care, it was a completely different experience to any removal service I’ve ever used.

The two men who moved us were so polite and considerate and kind. We had Jonathon and a young fella whose name I didn’t catch, both were real assets to the firm. They were so respectful and gentle to an old man leaving his family home. It could have been a terribly upsetting experience but their readiness to work for him, their courteousness and their quiet good humour and smiles really made it a hopeful transitional his new home.

Everything was handled with care, if they could go the extra mile on anything they did. I’m really thankful for their assistance, it was much more than moving things from one place to another. We’d use them again any time and truly recommend them to anyone.

We were down sizing and needed moving last minute due to the timing of exchanging contracts . Rileys were superb. It was a big job and took 2 days, moving outdoor plants and garden furniture first. Every single person who was involved in our move was friendly, humorous and kept us going during a stressful couple of days. Despite the long day and so much furniture and boxes having to be taken to the top room in loft conversion, with many steps, they carried on with energy and jokes. Excellent company. Fantastic service. Used them for our move from Southport to Cornwall. No messing about. Just a very simple process. They made it a joy to deal with them. Everything arrived promptly, no damage at all. The big plus is they were good fun to unload with.....lovely lads.

A great company who made what could have been a stressful day a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble and the lads were professional, helpful and very hardworking. Would highly recommend, 10/10 from me.

If you're happy for Laurel and Hardy to do your removal, then use these clowns.
In fact I wouldn't use any removal company in and around Southport. Martin's ability to size the type of vehicle required to move you has all the skill of Mr Magoo. Looking at the Google reviews it's obvious most are friends and family reviewers. This company are good at driving off and leaving a substantial amount of your possessions behind, if you are unfortunate to use them be sure to block them in and check they've got everything before you let them drive off. I think they maybe related to Riley's builders in the Fawlty towers episode. Avoid and use a bigger and more competent removal company outside the Southport area. And yes I am an unfortunate client of theirs.
