Not very encouraging!

An order was placed on the company’s website. During checkout, it was clearly stated that all taxes and duties were already paid, and no additional charges were expected from my side.

After some time, I received a letter from the Spanish postal service stating that my parcel was being held at the border because additional customs duties had to be paid. This completely contradicts the information provided at the time of purchase.

I immediately contacted the company in writing, but for six days I received no response at all — complete silence from customer support.

Later, I received an email from the company stating that the parcel had allegedly been delivered, although I never received it and have no information about where the package actually is. The delivery status clearly does not reflect the real situation.

All of this happened just before the weekend and the Christmas holidays. I was aware that the website mentioned possible delays or additional charges, however, in my case it was explicitly stated that all payments were already included.

This parcel was meant to be a Christmas gift for my mother, but due to poor communication, contradictory information, and delays, the company completely ruined these plans.

The level of service and customer support is extremely disappointing.

I’ve read some of the reviews here and honestly I’m a bit confused. Some don’t even seem related to this website, and others sound like they come from people who probably didn’t read the manuals.

My experience has been very different. The website is clear, the contact links are easy to find, and there’s also a chat on the site that I personally used and got a quick reply from.

I also like the blog, where I found useful tips for my purchases and more information about the product technologies.

Over the years, I’ve bought several products, both directly from this website and from QVC.

For example:
• the nail file, which is small, comfortable to use and still very effective (I keep my nails short and love how quickly I can get them done);
• the ultrasonic skin cleanser (my tip: I use it with thermal water spray — it’s super practical). I can see and feel the cleaning effect, with no irritation;
• the 60 Seconds Face Lift, which — despite the price — is quite powerful. I’ve never even used the higher settings. I also love the gel included, which doesn’t irritate my skin at all (something that happened to me with gels from other brands).

I also like the fact that some of these products have been around for years. To me, that means simple but proven technology, at a reasonable price.

Not surprised at all. The website is poor, hard to find the contact info. Sent an email asking for the size of the dehumidifier filter replacement. They ignored my question entirely and just sent a link to buy from their website. As if! I can get four times the amount from Amazon for the same price. Why would I buy direct with poor customer service, pay for only 5 filters and delivery on top. When Amazon come next day. I could ring and pester for an answer but im not going to waste my time further. Shame that “Jane “ is such a miserable pointless worker

Bought the 60 second pedi off these and all the reviews must be fake as anything because nobody with a brain would give this 5 stars it’s absolutely useless doesn’t even work keeps stopping all the time believe the one star reviews

I had a disappointing experience at Rio beauty in Napier. Despite having an appointment, I have to wait for long time. she cancelled my appointment few times and didn't bother to give me call when I reached the store she Just told me to come after 1 hr.
the quality for nails was subpar such quality of nails was very disappointing . The nail technician seemed rushed and didn't pay attention to detail. I expected a professional finish but ended up with nails that looked Sloopy and were far from what I had hoped for. the staffed seemed disorganized and unfriendly. The staff was busy in chatting to each other and ignoring me when I went to fix my nails and also tried to cancel my appointment again without informing me in advance. I expected better service second time when I went to fix my nails. unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Sounds impressive when you go to company web site see its a uk company with FDA approved ingredients however prices shown are not the prices you pay at checkout & if you try to contact RIO there is no phone number & emails fail to send

Pore perfection device just does not work. I have requested a full refund as this is obviously faulty as it does not work as you are made to believe it will on their website. I am awaiting a response.

Absolutely joke.
I ordered wax tablets and got all broken in small pieces.

I use this device follow the instructions I put a warm fennel in my face prior treatment, then I apply the small head to the device, I just move over my skin like in the presentation advice, that was the first time I use this device and of course it will be the last time, this device is terrible! I did have a consultation with my doctor and I been prescribed antihistamines and apply a alcohol free cream. Today after so many days my face still with horrible little lumps under my skin like orange skin and massive open pores. Before I have very good skin, now I was left with lots of red pimples in my face. As you can imagine I’m pretty angry about all this. This is more like a torture device than a beauty tool. I send a message to Rio to customer services but they ignore me completely and never reply...

I bought Rio celebrity tan. It was used once. Now second time no air and no solution is spraying out.
I am not impressed all businesses have reopened and even if are working from home calls can be diverted. The product is unreliable. I have the company today also emailed them and face book messaged them. Ridiculous nothing no response.
What a joke. On the phone voice mail it says you can chat to us online and then does not say where about online. That’s not professional at all. Misleading more like.
