RockIT Repairs started in December of 2012 in a small room at the George Washington Executive Center in downtown Fredericksburg. Quickly the demand for our repair services grew and we relocated to the 2,000 square foot facility at 1319 Lafayette Boulevard in March of 2013. We now service over 1000+ customers a month through our current location.

Name Change
Its been so long since I've been there but I do remember that everyone was polite and seemed competent. And I think that they should change the name to Rock IT Repairs because the first time it was suggested that I go there, I thought they were saying Rocket Repairs.

Malware Removal
RockIt Repairs removed malware from my laptop within 48 hours and restored it to normal. They also provided complimentary anti-malware and anti-virus software to prevent a recurrence.

Too slow
They repaired the glass but the turn around time was horrible. Plenty of excuses ( out of stock parts etc) but at the end of the day it was nearly 2 weeks

I am sorry that you had this issue. I Was looking back at your ticket and it looks like we had the ticket created on April 4, 2014 and mailed out on April 10, 2015. It was awhile ago so it is hard for me to go back and look why the package may have taken so long to arrive but again I am sorry about any delay that happened as we strive hard for this not to be the case. I would like to offer you a repair at a 50% discount to ensure you that we are 100% committed to keeping you happy and will do whatever I can to ensure this does not happen again in the future. Timely Quality Repair
My Kindle had a worn out and loose charge port and RockIT Repairs fixed it for the quoted price and it functioned flawlessly after its return. I had to wait a little longer than I had hoped for it but this is because they had to order more charge ports but I feel that the delayed delivery of the parts was a circumstance beyond their control. I have recommended them to a few of my friends and Colleagues and would have no hesistantion to recommend them to anyone.

Will never go back.
The last time I went to RockitRepairs they ruined my phone and I had to get a completely new iPhone. This was back in 2013 and I contacted them about it and wrote a thorough complaint about what happened and never got a response. That was unacceptable customer service as I had also called to express my complaint. I was never offered a refund or reimbursement as I paid for a faulty repair by Rockit Repair and had to buy a new phone which was another couple hundred dollars.
Since my experience I have told everyone I know to NEVER go to RockIt Repairs again.
Completely unprofessional, terrible customer service and faulty repair quality that is not worth the price or time.

I am sorry that you had issues with our repair services. I looked back at your ticket and your device had water damage to it prior to the repair service of the cracked screen. Water damage can cause many things to happen on the logic board on your cell phone and this issue had nothing to do with us replacing the screen. We did check out the device when you brought it back about 14 days later and we tried to repair the board but were unable to revive the device due to the liquid damage on the board causing other issues on the phone. We are very sorry and would like to offer 50% discount on any future repair but I do not want people to think that we caused the issue with the phone as this is not the case. We always offer a 90 day warranty on the parts that we install and cover that with the utmost integrity. Thanks again for your response and appreciate your business.

I've used RockIT Repairs a couple of times and they have been consistently superb! The repairs were done as promised, at a reasonable price and in the estimated time. If I can only get my children to stop dropping these phones :-)

Not a good choice for computer screens.
Left a relatively new Lenovo touch screen computer with them for months. Needed the touch screen replaced. They installed a non-touch screen and tried to give that to us. We asked for them to install a touch screen. After several more months they called and said come get it because they couldn't fix it. They had the computer for about 8 months. They left the non-touch screen in place, but it did not work. It was so dim it couldn't be seen. By the time we got it to another shop, they could no longer get parts for it, but they were able to make the new non-touch screen work. They were always polite and friendly. They might be OK fixing cell phone screens.
