Having moved a few times over the last few years we were anxious about what estate agent to use this time as past experiences were unpleasant and very stressful. Our friend’s recommended Rolstons’ Watford after they had a really good experience. We we gave them a go and so glad we did, from start to finish they were amazing and made the whole experience stress free and incredibly quick. We had a few quotes all giving the same asking price but Rolstons didn’t seem to be there with hard selling pressure they just wanted what was best for us - a refreshing experience. Within a week of our house being on the market it was sold for the asking price price which really surprised us as the market was really tough at that time. The communication was outstanding which meant that even though we were in a chain of four the sale went through incredibly quick. We never had to chase them for updates like previous experiences, they were always one step ahead and always had everything under control and the whole process was stress free- again something we weren’t use to with other agents. We always recommend them now and would definitely use them again.

Everyone at Rolstons were very helpful and friendly and all very professional when it came to marketing and selling our property. From Matthew who helped us at the start by patiently ensuring we marketed the property at the right price. To Scott and Tom and everyone else who brought potential buyers to our home to show it off. They were always in touch with us, giving us feedback, so we knew exactly where we stood with prospective buyers.

And Danielle was amazing once we had a buyer in place. She helped bring us to exchange and completion with dedication and thoroughness. And she was always on hand with comforting words & understanding, when our purchase hit a few rocks.

I recently purchased a property from Rolstons in Janurary 2025. Both Rolstons and the seller of the property hid the fact there was a boundary issue with the neighbour. The neighbour had previously communicated this issue to Rolstons and asked to make the new buyer aware so that they can work together to resolve the issue. I felt I had been thrown in the deep end as Rolstons purposely did not mention this problem. When the neighbour approached me I had no idea of this issue. Furthermore, the seller omitted this information from the legal paperwork, which details boundary disputes. Overall I felt cheated by both Rolstons and the seller. I have emailed numerous times to Rolstons asking for answers and they continue to ignore me to this day. I would recommend you do not use these estate agents as their ethics and principles are lacking.

Matthew was proactive, focused and reassuring and approached the sale in the way of the important project that to us, of course it was. Marketing details were captured, high quality photographs taken, potential buyers contacted and our house was launched onto the market swiftly and with minimum hassle to us. Viewings were handled well, by members of the team who were clearly competent, and who had a really nice way with them.

From the point at which we accepted an offer, Danielle, the sales progression manager became our main contact. It quickly became clear that we were in safe hands. Danielle is clearly experienced, efficient and proactive. She gave us regular updates, chased things along at key moments and was a wonderfully calm and reassuring presence. She was a complete superstar.
